This place is really really good. We just tried a quick beef wrap today for a sample and it was amazing to say the least. We’ll definitely be returning one day to try out some full sized dinner plates for sure 💯 July 2022 Update: Unfortunately sad to report that the service on our 2nd visit was horrible and very disorganized. The food was average and at almost $14 a pita I don’t see it worth driving out of the way to come here again and from 5 stars we go to 3 just like that.

Hands down my favorite Turkish restaurant in Toronto. I used to come here for lunch often when I worked in North York and continue to order large take out for my family. The quantity and quality of the food is always amazing. I usually order the mixed platter for 4 with Iskander Kebab, kunefe, and sutlaç. I recently had the lamb pide and it was amazing! Sorry no photo of that one I was too hungry lol. Great folks! Support their North York or Downtown location in Kensington.

Twice I came and just got wraps to go, but both times the ingredients, the meats, the flavor is so good. Great portion size. Hope to come and spend some time with some more people and explore the menu.

I ordered chicken shish kabob. The Food was burnt and stale. I called the restaurant to let them know about the issue, but they were too busy chatting and laughing in the background. It is not about getting my money back it is about the lack of customer service and the quality of food you get from here. How can you pack the food when you see is burnt and stale it was simply ridiculous. very irresponsible and pathetic.

We got their Sucuklu Kasarli Pide, Mixed Plate for 2, and Künefe. Sucuklu Kasarli was a Turkish Pizza, called Pide, it had Turkish Sausage, Mozzarella Cheese, we also added an Egg to it, it was so cheesy, and delicious! Mixed Plate came in a beautiful copperware, it had a variety of Shish Kebabs, Beef, Chicken, Adana, Chicken & Beef Döner, the Meats were all so well seasoned, smokey, juicy, tender, served on a bed of Rice & Bulgur, topped with Pickles, Cabbage, Lettuce, and Onions, WOW what a show-stopper that was! Also do not sleep on the Kunefe, it was the right amount of sweet, crispy, buttery, topped with crushed Pistachio, totally a MUST to wrap up this delicious feast!

I was with some friends and while I wasn't that hungry, they were, so we stopped here. It's new to me so I had to give it a try. Wow! I wish I was hungrier so I could have gotten a second wrap. I got the beef and I'll get it again along with other items to sample. Update: Went back for a second time and it was not enjoyable. We decided to sit down and have dinner. Now there are very few options on the menu so it's not a hard choice. We waited for 15 minutes before someone came to take our order and that's when we were told they're out of Donaire, this is something they could have mentioned right when we walked in but they let us sit there. The funny thing is we could see the Donaire spinning but were told it's for other orders, there was no one else in front of us in the store. We decided to get a couple of kabob wraps to go, which were nothing special. The girl taking our orders barely paid attention, she took one person's order, put it through then walked away for a few minutes before coming back. So basically the food wasn't done at the same time and one person was left waiting. This left a bad experience and won't drive all that way for this.

A busy spot but the food is sooo delicious. We tried the mixed plate for 2 and portion size was very generous. Meats are tender and grilled to perfection. Follow us on Instagram @eatwithjessandjohn for more local eats!

AMAZING FOOD & SERVICE!!!🔥 Tried this place a year ago via skip the dishes, then happened to be in Toronto today and was wishing for that same good food experience. Thankfully skip keeps a record of all past orders coz I couldn’t remember the place to save my life. Found it, went to dine in and the place is cute and clean… very important… even the washroom was clean and I used it thrice being pregnant and all. Ordered something I didn’t have the last time just to be adventurous and they did not disappoint. Beef shish was hella tender, flavorful and juicy. Bulgur so soft and delish. Dessert was perfect and different (kunefe), never ever had something like that before and I ate it all lol. Everyone working there was courteous, attentive and efficient. Will definitely be back when in the city again and will be spreading the word… including sharing this testament. Go try it out!

May 18, 2019 We have visited this restaurant only once and the number one reason is that it's bit far from our area. Can't complain about anything. The food was tasty and the service was good.

I would dine here a lot more frequently but I don’t out of principle. Not offering tap water is absolutely silly both from cost perspective but also sustainability reasons. Great food but this type of business practice is rare for a good reason in the city. Edit: Gave it another shot and bringing this down to a 1 star. Asking for a medium rare steak and getting the attached pic instead is… well leave it to you to judge. Prices have gone up again and portion sizes reduced.

We came here because of the good food reviews. Initially hesitant because of all the water comments, but figured we’d just buy a coke. Super glad we came. Our waiter warmly greeted us and we took our seat. After bringing us our menus we ask for his recommendations. We decided to go with the popular meat platter for two. Bread and dips were brought fast. Which was great. We were starving. My husband asked for a glass of water, which was promptly brought over (see pics). The meat platter was prepared and brought out quickly. So many choices. Lots of different meats to try, all resting on white rice and beautifully seasoned bulgur. We left with desserts, fresh made that day and will be back. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Meats were ALL good! We got the mix plate for two and it was more than enough to feed us three people. They use charcoal to cook the meats which makes a huge difference as it gives that distinct charcoal flavour. We also had the lentil soup and that was good. Service was prompt and friendly One critique I have is, for a dine-in restaurant they do not serve "free" water, you have to buy their bottled water.

Freshly made, got a half chicken and half cheese pide , it was crunchy and oozy lacked some salt and spice but hit my cheese cravings. Also got the adnana kebab with bulgur well spiced meat and bulgur. Would come back for that and its very nice that we get complimentary fresh salad, yogurt mint and spicy pepper sauce.

We ordered Adana kebab, Turkish sausage pide. Both were decent in taste, I've had pides at other places and they offer onions, chilli's, lemon, tabouli or sauces with it but here they give you nothing. I feel the restaurants should offer water as a courtesy here they want me to pay $3 for a 500ml bottle of water. The restaurant needs proper ambience, you don't feel like it's a Turkish restaurant and the worst thing was there were many mosquitoes and flies roaming when we were eating. That's a big no no. So maybe they should invest into keeping the restaurant clean and provide better customer service.

Best Turkish food I ever tried, the portions are big. The best plate to order is Adana Kebab that if going alone. There's an option of ordering +2 mix plate. (Menu is from previous months)

Been here several times, and personally I feel like this is one of the best Turkish restaurants in Toronto. The service is always friendly and nice, and portion is huge. Will continue to come and recommend to everyone.

Staff is friendly and very traditional. Meat is good, shish kebab beef is perfect! Meal for 2 won’t hurt your wallet too much and keep you satisfied. You will come again for sure.

Food is fresh and the service is great. I am a fan of the beef doner. The bulgar is filling and the lavash tastes wonderfully light compared to pita or naan. Dine in instead of take out is the best way to enjoy your meal. This time I ordered take out because it was running late and the full plate in dining in gives much more and it can easily be shared for another meal. Fantastic cuisine. Little condiments like the yoghurt or dressing makes a flavorful impact. Tomato and peppers bbq certainly adds to the wonderful variety of textures and moist bbq grill experience.

Must try if you live around north york! The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The food is yum! We also tried their Turkish tea and I seriously I don’t remember how many cups did I drink, it had a really unique taste..

I ordered the beef shish kebab, it was served with bread and salad. Everything tasted fresh, the beef was juicy. And rice goes perfectly with the beef. At first i was hesitant because i thought i was a little pricey, but it was worth it. The staffs are also nice. The place was also clean and well maintained

Nice Turkish restaurant where you can find authentic Turkish food. It's generally not very crowded and the staff are friendly.

Everything is very yummy and hot. Only problem with my lamb chops there were too chewy. Good staff, love there kunafa. Must visit place. But please eat there so if your lamb chops are chewy you can ask to replace.
