    So …. It’s been a month now the steam room has been broken and it’s now covered with brown paper which means they are gonna take it out . Not only that four massage chairs are broken . The soap dispensers are now lying leaking on the floors . The-gym is full of people all the time and you can’t tell me there is no budget to get these things repaired , they should be lowering the cost of memberships not increasing them . The job of the manager is to walk around the gym first thing in the morning and note the problems . Not sit at a desk as soon as you walk in and for months nothing is done . The gym is always hot, none of the fans are ever turned on and the outlets don’t work . The massage chairs are always broken. The showers have no soap or conditioner ever and if they do they are broken too . The men’s change rooms are filthy and towels every where . The internet doesn’t work and you have to keep turning of your wifi to use your own data. The cheap hair dryers are also broken and the outlets don’t work . There is no use complaining cause no one does anything . Don’t claim to be the best gym in Canada I have no idea what my dues are going to ! Last time I used a towel I broke out with a reaction all over my body and face .

    I have had a number of trainers over the years but no one as engaging and talented as Fiona. She made me love the gym once again by providing me with personalized training sessions. She really pays attention, making sure she pushes me when I need it, watching closely and correcting me when my form is incorrect. I highly recommend Fiona.

    This gym is at a very convenient location and has a clean facility. There is a variety of different group classes if you are interested in one of those. I also tried the free personal training session with Linda. Linda was very friendly and knowledgeable. She listened to my workout history - or lack thereof - and my concerns very attentively. She taught me a few stretches and exercises that were tailored to my needs. It has been a few days but I can already feel my body getting stronger. Thanks, Linda! *Linda is also fluent in Korean if anyone is looking for a personal trainer who can speak Korean.

    I have been going to this location for 7 years and the experience has been amazing. Big shout out to Mitch for being the most incredible personal trainer. He’s dedicated, patient and extremely professional. Been training with him consistently since the gym reopened after covid and I have undergone a major transformation both physically and mentally. Also Sales Manager Su is extremely helpful and talented. He’s capable of conversing in multiple languages to communicate with many different demographics.

    Here's how I go to the gym for free. Take full advantage of your goal. To get healthier. Connect as many micro-goals, to the primary goal. To get healthier. I like the slogan on the wall, next to the free weights. At this location. 19 points to the person whom post the quote. My membership is approximately $100 per month. I go six times per week. (Don't start with this goal. Build up to it.) $100 divided by 24 visits is about $4.17 per visit. I walk three times per week, approximately 9 miles . Which is also a micro-goal. To enjoy nature and collect my thoughts . Catching up on phone calls, or listening to a positive pod cast. Plus warming up, prior to the gym. I drive 3 times per week. Parking is free. If you validate your card , at the friendly front desk. I am saving approximately $45 , with free parking. Micro-goal, there are so many fantastical independent Asian restuarants, within walking distance. Finally, the amenities. Refer to picture. I help myself to a massage , at least 3 time per week. Which would cost me approximately $30 at the mall. Micro-goal meditation, reward myself. I conclude my work out , by going to the steam room. Between the amount of water I drink and the amount I sweat. It is like going to the spa. Rejuvenation, meditation and relaxation. Approximately saving, hundreds. With the right attitude going to the gym will save you money. Be the best version of yourselves and create loving memories. Only feedback. The men's steam room and showers can use a good cleaning, more frequently. Common guys, we can do better:) * since I made these comments. The men's steamroom and showers have been renovated. Great job!

    This is one of the best GoodLife locations I’ve been to, it is at a convenient location steps away from Finch Station surrounded by great shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly; and they have sanitary staff working around the clock. Equipment is well maintained, the gym is very spacious and well stocked. Hearing the action from classes nearly gets everyone pumped! Amazing ambiance and very friendly community.

    No customer service at all period. They didn’t honour my free workout even though I booked online and they confirmed it by phone call and I had the email. The sales rep his name was Sean very aggressive sales pitch and the person who didn’t let me work out. I became very disappointed and I went to join to LA Fitness with better rate and better costume services

    This review is in response to the personal training I had. The trainer was a good guy and taught me a lot of different exercises during the sessions I had with him, but when I signed up I was promised by the sales guy a customized workout plan coming out of the four sessions - the trainer said they can't do that. Unhappy with not receiving what I was promised and paid for up front.

    Rude personal trainer said I was hurting the machine cuz I couldn't control the last rep down and started yelling at me??? Like sorry I would end up hurting myself if I controlled it down on my LAST rep??? He said he didn't care what I said and continued to say the weight was too heavy for me after I did 7. Like thanks dude thanks for telling me that doing 7 means too heavy. Workers name was George rude tall white guy. Never in my 8 years of working out have I met a more rude worker.

    The gym is very nicely located right at yonge and finch by the subway. The only downside to the gym is. It's very crowded at times since it's a small gym. Lot of ppl don't rack the weight or clean up their equipment after they use it.

    I have been working out at this gym for years and this has to be the best GoodLife I’ve been to thus far. Staff has always been friendly to me. A staff member by the name of Joseph has been an exceptional asset to their team. I always see him talking to the members and lightening the mood with his jokes. Great person and worker. I notice that he does his rounds and checks if things are clean and tidy at the gym. Keep it up guys.

    I have been going to this gym for two months now. The gym is clean and safe as every equipment is carefully sanitized. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I am very satisfied with my personal training sessions with Jin. He is professional, friendly and patient , and puts a lot of effort to plan out workouts suitable for me in every session. He is very knowledgeable and takes the initiative to help all his clients with proper diet and nutrition. Him being certified in nutrition is an added bonus. Anyone looking for a PT , I would highly recommend JIN.

    Are you looking for a personal trainer who will challenge and support you, who will be the best friend of yours? Then George at Yonge & Finch location is an excellent choice for you. I’ve been trained by George since January. Each session with him is really useful for me and giving me a boost of positive energy. He is a knowledgeable and skilled personal trainer so training with him has improved my muscles strength and tone. Now I feel better and look younger. Thank you, George! I highly recommend George as a personal trainer and good friend.

    If you are looking for a personal trainer, here I would recommend George to you. His professional knowledge is very rich, he is familiar with various fitness methods and techniques. He made a personal training program for me. He is very patient and always listens and instructs me no matter what questions and concerns I have. And after every training session, he would give me encouragement and positive comments. More importantly, he paid attention to my physical changes, helped me grow with new goals, and provided me with new training plans.

    In May 2023, I was paired with George for a training session. He was patient while asking all the necessary questions to determine my goals. His words of encouragement, motivation, and even personal advice were exactly what I needed. Kind spirit with lots of energy to make the experience more enjoyable. I am confident I will meet my fitness objectives! George is very knowledgeable and experienced, highly recommend if you are looking for a PT.

    The HVAC system has been broken for over a month and seems like the management doesn’t care which they should specially now that we’re in a pandemic. Working out here is like working out in a hot pot. The fees has gone up but the quality of service and care has come down significantly. Wish they cared more about the members health. Very disappointing!!!

    I have always wanted to lose weight and get myself in shape. I lost my confidence for years now, and I really want to gain that back. I started going to this gym and booked a personal training session. They introduced me to a trainer named AK. Big shoutout to AK. I was very timid and basically have 0 strength training. But he pushed me to my limits, and 2 months into my training, I can say that I am seeing good progress. AK customized my training to fit my needs. We focused on certain parts each session. He always ensures that my posture is correct before doing any machine. He also checks in with me if I'm eating and drinking well, which shows that he truly cares about the trainee health and wellbeing. He always encourages and energizes me during each training session. Overall, it's has been a pleasure training with him, and I highly recommend AK if you're looking into personal training. Side note on the gym: the staff at this gym is very friendly. I barely knew any of the other personal trainer names, but they always smiled at me and said hi. 😁 one thing they can improved is to add more machines on the gym itself so we don't fight over 1 machine that everyone use. It's always crowded after 6 p.m.

    It’s a good gym, well kept and clean. I began coming here regularly because I signed up for personal training with Steve. I genuinely enjoy having him as a personal trainer because he is patient, knowledgeable and really takes the time to teach me correct form and posture and explains the mechanics to me. I recommend Steve to any individual interested in PT because he has over 25 years of knowledge in the fitness industry and has been nothing but helpful in helping me achieve my goals. I’ve been seeing him consistently and already feel much stronger and more confident working out.     This location of GoodLife Fitness is definitely the best one in north York super friendly staff like Joseph and Alex who make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Gym equipment quality is pretty good and the gym layout is very well laid out allowing you to focus on the type of workout you want. Overall a very good gym. Definitely recommend a try here

    I've been going to this location for the past 6 months and I love this location. The gym is very spacious and facilities are very well kept. Employees at this location are very friendly and helpful too. I've been training with Connie since. She is a knowledgeable and skilled personal trainer who takes the time to understand my fitness goals and tailors each session to meet those goals. Her expertise in exercise science ensures that I'm always using proper form during my workout. Every session with Connie has been helpful, she is really great at explaining and demonstrating the workouts for me. Her support has been invaluable in helping me stay on track and achieve my fitness goals. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent personal training experience! :)

    This GoodLife location is phenomenal! The facilities are sanitary, people are general nice and welcoming and the staff were great too! I would especially like to give a hand to the associate Joseph. He was really welcoming and was also hardworking. Whether it’s organizing the weights or helping to sanitize the equipment, he was doing it all.

    Taken from experience this is one of the most preferably recommended locations I have been to. I’ve gone to many GoodLife Fitness locations and this by far is my number 1 place. The staff is very friendly especially Joseph Bowen and they make sure your well taken care of with all your needs. It is very clean and the staff takes their job very seriously for the safe and well being of there members. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking to change their life around.

    I have been going to this gym for two months now. I am very satisfied with my personal training sessions with roumen.He is professional, friendly and patient , and puts a lot of effort to plan out workouts suitable for me in every session. He is very knowledgeable and takes the initiative to help all his clients with proper diet and nutrition. I lost almost 6.5 kgs just in 20 sessions. I have seen results for every week when he trained with me. He will tell you how to posture exactly in order to avoid injury.He being certified in nutrition is an added bonus. Anyone looking for a PT , I would highly recommend Roumen.

    For the past few years, I've been training at this place, which is excellent, especially because the transportation is very convenient. The staff is also great. I got Andrew as my coach. I can guarantee this dude is very professional and easy to get along with. Over these years, we've turned into good pals of hustling and achieving. Totally recommended!

    A gym in a vibrant location, close to the subway and has parking. It has every equipment I can think of. The staff is friendly and professional. I have encountered amazing people from the day of my subscription until now. I am doing personal training sessions with Coach Jin, he is helping me out with strength training and nutrition. My experience has been very rewarding so far. This location has also the best LesMills instructors.

    My experience at this location which I have been to many is just incredible. I usually go to many clubs for the group ex classes and everytime I come to this club expecially the staff are nice and the instructors at this location is top class. My favourite is Lillian on the weekends she makes it feel like I'm coming to the gym on vacation with her towel bunny or swan that is very welcoming and fun to look at. Instead of traveling to cuba I get my 5 star resort all inclusive feeling on the weekends. Not only that shes helped me out always with any concerns or always has a smile on her face and greets me when coming in and out of the gym especially applauding me for finishing my workout like I hit the finish line. So motivating and understanding to not only myself but others. Everybody must come to this location to have that great feel. Thank u

    Having been a member at GoodLife for a long time I particularly enjoyed attending the Spin4Kids events. One that stands out in my mind was in Nov 2019 and was organized by Lillian K. The event was well run, loads of fun, and for such a special and worthy cause. The turnout was fantastic and everyone attending commented what a great time was had by all. Lillian did such a fantastic job and I hope Spin4Kids continues as it has in the past. It is an event many look forward to and it is so meaningful.

    It a one of the best club in North York, nice people working there, good customer services, I like the ambiant, all machines are working properly, I usually going there in the morning, everything are so clean,it's quiet as well,totally I fill I'm in a great gym to working out. Highly recommend.

    Love this location--staff is really friendly and I actually enjoy going to the gym now (maybe for the first time ever). I'm training with George and it's been truly amazing! He's fabulous. Over the last 5 weeks of training, I've seen significant changes in my strength and endurance. Workouts are both fun and work and I always look forward to our sessions. He's really easy to work with, made me feel comfortable from our first meeting, and knows just how much to push me to get max results! Definitely worth it.

    I started going to this gym just a couple weeks ago and I can say this place is very welcoming. I booked a free visit and workout, Mari was super friendly and showed me around the place. I trained with the guidance of Davide and I had an amazing experience, he's knowledgeable, experienced, patient and gave me his full attention, he asked me what my goals are and together we built a plan to achieve those goals. In just 6 sessions, he helped me correcting my form, giving me tips on how to make the best out of my workouts and I already can see a big difference from my first squat to my latest. As a beginner, I highly recommend having him as a trainer. Awesome place!

    I have been training with Andrew for the last 10 months of writing this review and it's been an amazing experience. I chose to train with a personal trainer as I was getting back to the gym after a gap of almost 7 years and after piling on a few pounds that I wanted to get rid of. A well-thought-out workout plan aside, Andrew makes sure the pace, posture and breathing pattern for each of the exercise routines is correct. He shared a diet plan and constantly encouraged me to eat right. He also encouraged me to come to the gym on my own for a couple of days a week and shared a few full-body workout routines for my reference when he need not have done that! He's an affable guy who likes to talk about sports and movies. It's been great fun. Highly recommend Andrew and this gym.

    I have bern using this gym for almost 3 months now. Good points:Staff are friendly Bad point: Air conditioning system doesn’t work in this branch. U can feel that all the time which make it harder to wear mask at the gym. Also this branch doesn’t have scale which it really doesn’t make sense for a gym! And when I asked for the reason they said because of covid! Which was not convincing for me at least since if that is the case the whole gym should be closed. Couple of times I asked for the manager to raise my concern but They were not available or had other concerns Since I live in the same building I am using this gym. if you have others option, I do not recommend this gym

    Been going to this gym for 10 years. Love the staff and trainers . Very respectful and always looking to help the members. Joseph that works at the front has been welcoming and always performs his duties to the best possible standards. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because there are room for improvements , maintenance of equipments takes longer than expected.

    All equipment available, opens till 11 all weekdays and easy to get in during COVID even with capacity caps (you may line up but it moves pretty fast most of the time). On the other hand, it is busy and ventilation can be better (it is under ground).

    I have never been to a gym which is less organized. I've been trying to get a membership for about 3 weeks now and I've given up. I was told to come one day to meet with someone and they were "busy" at the scheduled time I was told to come meet them. I was told I could come sign up one day But apparently no one was there to sign me up. But it's a nice looking facility...

    Amazing gym ever. The staff members are great and helpful and so was my personal trainer who helped me to work out. This is an awesome albeit a small location. But the size doesn't matter, it has everything I need to do my workouts and fits my needs.

    Good gym. Many knowledgeable personal trainers. Excellent cleaning staff. Highly populated area so usually anytime you come it'll be busy. A little hot in the summer. Washroom on main floor always seems to be out of order. I'm convinced that this gym gets money from CNN as it's always on every single screen including their 20 foot main screen. Please add more local programming to cardio and communal screens.

    I have been a member from some months and try other Good life fitness locations. Honestly this is the best for me. The staff is very friendly, they are always checking everything is tidy and clean 😉. They always are in a good mood. The equipment is pretty straightforward. I paid some introductory classes and the trainers were really kind and professionals. The only thing I would change is the schedule is a bit limited, since other's schedules are 24h

    I got the 7 session package with PT Rie a few months ago and had an amazing experience. She guided me through specific exercises for my goals and even gave me tips on nutrition. She is awesome and I would 100% recommend her if you are considering personal training.

    Great service from staff. 8 stair masters. Free underground parking. Lots of showers and sauna is currently working again! Tvs everywhere. Two stretching areas. Amazing virtual spin classes upstairs when no in use (7 classes a week). Only issue is the wifi. Drops connectivity. I would highly recommend this gym. I've been to a bunch. This is my favourite.

    I was fortunate enough to have a few personal training sessions with Jin Park and he was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He offered me excellent nutrition advice and helped me correct my form on a ton of key exercises. He walked me through how to best structure my workout routine to maximize my efforts and suggested several really good routines. I highly recommend Jin to anyone looking to get into a robust routine, get their nutrition right and tighten up their form.

    Great location with kind staffs. Very good personal training experience with Rie. She is professional and patient and cute!! She keeps in track of my workout plan in detail so I can see the progress. I am the lazy kind of person but Rie really motivates me to push my limits. She is very knowledgeable about nutrition and yoga too. Highly recommended!

    I used to come to this gym pre-pandemic and I loved it here. However, last year I started going back for yoga and spin classes and found the classes were good but the environment is not good at all. The yoga studio is always dirty no matter when you have session there. I used to go to evening and noon classes so I thought that was the reason but I also went to a 9AM class several times and the floor was still a dusty. This is concerning especially since I have a dust mite allergy, and I have to lie on the most of the yoga sessions. I hope this issue with cleanliness will be resolved sooner rather than later.

    I have been training at this location for 6 months and I really love it. It has all the equipment needed, different areas (turf, stretching, boxing), a sauna. The stuff is very friendly. Have been training with Davide and it's been a blessing. He is very knowledgeable with over 20 years of experience.     I've been working out from this location for 3 months. I love the ambiance, and the staff are approachable and friendly. I would like to say thank you to my personal trainer, Raud. He is really knowledgeable and an expert in terms of training and lifting. I would recommend him to all beginners planning to go to the gym, as he is friendly, will give you some tips, and will motivate you with your gym journey.
