    Wanted to buy a pair of roller blades, no staff around to get them for me from the back. Final ran into two staff but they were busy stocking which is good but the point of stocking is to sell items to customers. One looked like a manager. She told me she would page someone, nobody ever came and I walked around and final left. Went to Sporting life where as soon as I walk in they ask if I need help. Not what I expected from a store at Yorkdale, needs improvement with regards to customer service.

    Lazy staff. I called the store because I needed some assistance finding soccer cleats. I was in a time crunch and would be getting there minutes to close from the west end of the city. When I asked if they could put aside a soccer clearance for my husband to pick up …the person who answered the phone said that I would have to come in and look for the cleats myself and then cash out . We do not do any holds. Ridiculous so and unhelpful… as if standing around was their only job. The same goes for the Square one location…. No help whatsoever and was redirected to search online myself. Any other store would have gladly assist and put the item aside. It’s 6:50 pm now - so helpfully they let my husband in the next few minutes.

    Went to the service shop at this location. The customer service there is incredibly rude - jasmine and the other Indian male there should not be working there. There’s nothing wrong with explaining things to in a kind manner. I felt so bad for that poor family. The customer service at this Sport Chek is well below standard compared to any other sporting good store I’ve been to. Just take a quick look at the other reviews here. Seems many other have had similar experiences.

    Helpful employees and large store with a service center for things like to sharpen skates ($9). You do have to wait a bit if there is a backlog.

    I visited for return and re-order different color. Both Return and re-order was so cool and pleasant. Very helping and pleasant staffs helped me to check the right size and re order. This is store staffs are unlike Dundas Square Stockcheck store, here staffs looks like customer oriented. Very spacious store having variety of brands. I would like to visit again this Yorkdale mall storecheck.

    I called this store today and it’s been over 10 mins they put me on hold. This is very bad customer service and the current rating makes sense. Unsure why management is not putting any effort in speaking to their staff about customer service as we all need each other to keep the money flowing. Probably hiring kids who are there just for fun.

    Abysmal customer service. I’m always extra patient with people working in customer service however this is the first time I felt the need to complain. Walked up to the cashier wanting to check the price on two items and was trying to let the cashier know. Rather than listen to us , she proceeds to have a personal conversation with a coworker and mindlessly checkout both items. When we tried to flag her down again about our intent to check the price instead, she barked back at us saying “yeah yeah yeah” as if we were an inconvenience to her and gives us a look. When it was time to checkout the order, we waited for her to process the payment and ask us whether or not we want to use our CT money. Instead, she pulls out her phone and starts texting. The transaction times out and she gives us a look as if we did something wrong. She tried to checkout a second time and she does the same thing again. Texting on her phone rather than prompt us about the ct money. We had to “interrupt” her texting to finally checkout the order. Horrible shopping experience.

    This place appears so poorly staffed. Experience at other sportchek stores is like night and day. Good luck trying to find an employee to check stock or ask product questions. They're busy with stocking or answering the phone. If you see one, they avoid eye contact and disappear quickly. Lower level is stuffed with clothes and disorganized. So odd.

    Just wanted to thank BJ for his great service! We went there to get a pair of shoes for my son’s birthday. BJ was very efficient and quick in his service. When we finally decided to get a pair, he couldn’t find a complete pair for the size that we wanted because the other half was missing. Knowing that I wanted the shoes so badly today because it was for my son’s birthday, he was very generous to compensate us with a gift card and direct us to another store to get the shoes. So thank you once again BJ!

    This store is very disorganised. I went to this store in person to see two specific products in person. I could not find either by myself. I had to ask the staff to help me both times. The first staff member was able to locate the first product for me. The second staff member sent me from upstairs to downstairs for a pair of shoes, only to have a third staff member to tell me to go back to the shoe section upstairs. Confused, I went back to the second staff member who just shrugged and said that was what his manager told him and he "guessed" that the shoes were no longer available. He did not care that I had been sent around the store aimlessly and had wasted so much of my time. Never going back to this store again.

    Stood in shoe section for 20 minutes waiting for an employee to help find sizes as the scanner wasn’t working. 3 employees were behind me in a circle just having a casual conversation. No one came up to help. I left without anyone offering to help and not being able to try on any shoes. If you’re looking for shoes I’d suggest go to another store or another location. Useless staff

    Cashiers working next to the kids' shoes counter showed meager hospitality, impolite and arrogant attitude. Each time I suffer from disadvantage and unfair treatment when I was lining up at that cashier counter. As there were no signals showing where should customers lining up, so I choose to line up at the right corner the first time, then a lady came to the left corner to line up. However, when it was my turn to be served, the cashier require me standing behind that lady, because the left hand side should be the beginning. I complained that there is no signal showing the left hand side should be the beginning, but the cashier claimed that this is their company's rule. OK, then I lined up to the left hand side each time. Unfortunately, yesterday when I lining up at the left hand side as usual, the left hand side cashier Dennetta required me standing to the right hand side until it was my turn to be served, she said that there has been a line forming already. Ok, I follow her instruction, although I think it was not fair to me, because when I approached the counter, there was only one woman standing on the right hand side, as their company's rule, the cashier should ask the right hand side woman move to my side lining up after me, right? When it's my turn to be served, I expressed that I want to complain to their manager. However, the cashier Tatiyana showed me a scowl look immediately when she heard that I want to complain. Excessively, the manager Mon even showed me a scowl look as well when he come out from his office meeting me. In the beginning, I just talking about my unfair treatment those times I suffer from their cashiers, sadly, he didn't only apologize to me, but also keep explaining that they didn't make any mistake. I requested his apologize, but he replied that he didn't feel so. I was disappointed with his attitude as a manager, because he didn't care about my feeling at all, and he even refused to listen to complains. Mon even roll his eyes at me and keep showing me the scowl look in front of me. How arrogant he was! As to the Denetta, I wonder why she didn't tell me to move to the right hand side as soon as she saw me approaching her counter. Obviously, she didn't care about me, and she just simply to allow me taking the disadvantage in terms of the lining up issue. When I requested her apologize to me because she didn't show hospitality on me, she refused! How arrogant she was!

    I purchased bike for my son last Wednesday but bike is to be assembled and be ready by Saturday at 2100. Last minute they called me on Saturday at 1800 only to informed that bike is not ready to pick up. They told me it will be ready today (Tuesday) but unfortunately it's not ready and NOBODY CALLED me that bike it not yet in store. It's a waste of time! The worst part, my son was expecting his BIKE today. Never ever purchase on this store.

    I went there yesterday to check out a few items, there are literally a dozen staff, but no one even bothers to ask you if you need help, they all act like they're busy with their tablets or they don't even care and keep talking to each other. I noticed a few times that the staff see you wandering around and didn't even ask of I need help, never saw anything like that! Ignoring the costumer while there are a lot of staff that could help, not to mention that it wasn't even busy, no wonder why the store looked so death!

    This is a great place and you can nice shooes fiting to your budget choice. There was one guy and really work hard and serving all the customers by himself on saturday morning busy day in the mall. Give credit to him what he deseeve. Great place drop by.

    Ddn't get the shoe I want coz they are sold out of my size. Got this shoe instead, I will use this for work today. Happy with the cashier who helped me yesterday (NYANBENY). She is so nice, helped me with the family discount & explained about the triangle rewards points.

    I bought 2 asics running shoes. One female, 1 male model. The workers were very friendly and professional. They only took $2 for the bag at the checkout. It got very expensive.

    Was looking for a pair of Asics Novablast 3s, which seem to be out of stock everywhere else. SportChek Yorkdale not only had them, but their employee Tobi was super friendly, and helpful in making sure I had the right size. Also Andra the cashier was pleasant and helped when I was curious about their electrolyte tablets. Would totally shop here again.

    Don't buy anything from this shop, I bought Airpods Pro 2 gen and when I tried to connected them with my Iphone it showed me the name of some different person. When I investigated further from the apple support they told that this product is a used product. They tamper the products and than sell them, might me selling other fakes thing too. Highly disappointed with them, was a customer for 2 years, but this incident broke my trust.

    Not great customer service for the bike section, I was trying the height and feel the ride of the bike and two agents came and told me not to ride the bike, they did not even ask me if I need any questions, so I started the conversation and it seems like they are not ready to have conversations to the customers that’s why people are doing online and next time we know those customer agents will lose their job. They need more training for customer service! I’ll buy my bike to other stores because the bikes are not assembled properly too.

    The cashier Lolita was very friendly and professional. She was able to help with my returns and also pointed me in the right direction with someone else that could assist me to find exactly what I wanted. Both the employee on the floor that helped me find what I wanted and the cashier were really helpful making my trip fast and efficient. Good customer service.

    I was helped by a young lady her name was Salina. Very knowledgeable and helped me and my daughter choose a new pair of running shoes they are very well made! A great selection of shoes and salina was very sweet.
