A hidden gem in the West End with alot of seating. We ordered the Wooden Plate for Two, and we were overwhelmed with the amount of food on the plate! Very friendly server, and quick service. I recommend this place.

This is an excellent Hungarian restaurant serving truly authentic Hungarian cuisine. The food and service was amazing. I had the Hungarian goulash and Wiener Schnitzel. The parsley potatoes were great. They even serve great Hungarian desserts like strudel and crepes. I definitely recommend this place!!

I bought the wooden plate for 2 and the goulash soup. The serving is very big for two people and the price is fair. The schnitzel is the best I've ever tried. It's very tasty and not dry either. The fried potatoes taste good too and not greasy at all. The owner is very considerate. We waited for around 5-10 min for pick up, the owner explained to us the food was cooked fresh so need to wait and updated us multiple times on the wait time. Overall very tasty food and great service!

Superb atmosphere and very amiable service. The meals were fresh and delightful. Will clearly recommend this place to friends and family. Reasonable prices and generous meals. Great work.

We haven't been there since the now owner change. we were so excited to be back again , but let me tell you my friends , things have change UNFORTUNATELY NOT IN A GOOD WAY !!!!! worst experience ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the waitrees guy was clumsy very unprofessional food was cold . It is a cozy traditional-style restaurant. I must say the service is not perfect, at least our waitress was kind of tired and not welcoming at all! However, the food is super good. We tried the plate for two including fried mushroom, fries, schnitzel, rice and salad. That was a big portion and it tasted great. I really like the atmosphere there and I strongly recommand the place.

Came in with my wife and we weren't disappointed. Large portion's of food for a fair price. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because the food was very plain...I felt like no spices were used when preparing it. Otherwise it was really good and services was good as well.

It was a charming resteraunt. Too bad the owners changed and the new owners just walked out and abandoned it. Could not afford to run a small biz in socialist Toronto that only supports big monopoly corporations that give donations to the government. And no help from the feds with Justinflation. Sadly, this is happening a lot.

I found this place on Skipthedishes recently and first time ordered a lunch for my team at work. It was very well executed and very well received by everyone in our multicultural place. The next time I decided to pay them a personal visit for takeout. Spoke with the owner and people working there. This place is a hidden gem and if you like trying different things from different places of the world- it simply must be on your list. Food is excellent, attitude is right- I strongly recommend them. I will definitely return.

The food is authentic. The price is fair. The service was good. Unfortunately the ambiance is not at par. I could smell the basement from my main floor table and the fruit flies were out of control.

Food was tasty and authentic and very good portion. However I ordered in and the packaging was really poor (styrofoam food containers). They upgrade theornpaxkahing and this will be my go to for Eastern European food.

Wonderful restaurant with pleasant staff and amazing food. Everything is made fresh and the quality is superb. We don't get to go here very often but it's always worth the trip when we do.

I won't ever return, very disappointing. Our dishes were mixed, cold and my husband received the wrong one, we explained them that the picture we selected was different it was a stew (juicy) they said to us that we were wrong, and that if we want gravy they will give it to us, whattttt we wanted the right dish! But not they insisted we were wrong.

We were in the neighbourhood for our first place and were almost overwhelmed with the variety of restaurants... until we saw this! We looked up the reviews and decided to give it a try. The food was amazing... the very best cabbage rolls I've ever eaten.. should've asked for the recipe. We order the meat platter (to serve 4). It was a large enough platter that we had almost as much to bring home as we ate! The service was fast and efficient. Robert, the owner (I think) has a great sense of humour and added to our very positive experience!

Based on the reviews, I was quite excited to try them! However, I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel and the Breaded Mushrooms, with dumplings, and I have to say, that all three were by far some of the most bland foods I've ever tasted. I am not sure what went wrong, but applesauce has more flavor than the food did

(Food Quality & Portions Sizes Were Poor) A group of three of us orders the platter for 2 it came with these items below. We've been going to Europe Bar for 20+ years. - The cabbage rolls were cold and dry - The Wiener schnitzel was over salted - The dumplings and gravy lacked flavor - The deep-fried cheese which was unnecessary to the platter The reason is probably because of the pandemic but also due to the face the owners have changed and the staff are all totally different from when we were going before the pandemic hit.

We came to this spot for lunch. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Was have a craving for some schnitzel - met a lovely gentleman named Frank, the chef - when I visited there in July of 2022 it was very quiet - the restaurant is somewhat outdated looking and the website has not been updated in a long time, so what I was hoping to buy, they no longer offered - after the pandemic, takeout food has become quite expensive - paid $26 for 2 nice pieces of schnitzel with potatoes and a generous side container of hungarian sauce consisting of vegetables and tomatoes and lovely spices - the food was very delicious

This site is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I feel like having a delicious meal, this restaurant comes immediately to my mind. good and many types of food and a large menu.professional staff, and nice ambience. And very important, the pay is honest. I tell about this place with no hesitation.

The food was cold, I ordered a dish from their photos on their menu (veal stew as the first picture) and they brought me veal schnitzel(second picture), even though I requested nicely and obviously it didn't look a stew, they just brought me gravy to add to the dry plain schnitzel, saying it was the right dish.

I really enjoyed their dishes. I always get fantastic service here. The place is always clean and the employees are always super friendly. Will come back again.
