The main thing that brought me here was all the mouthwatering photos I saw from their sandwiches on social media. And I would say the pictures don't tell lies. I came here right before Toronto entered lockdown for the second time. I was welcomed by their friendly staff and he came up with suggestions based on my preferences. I ordered "Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich" and "Guacamole Cheeseburger". The ingredients were fresh; the meat was very tender and flavorful, with right amount of spices; the bread was toasted at the perfect time and temperature. The staff/owner thanked me for supporting them during this hard times and I believe this is our responsibility to support local businesses which definitely are struggling at these hard times. I would definitely go back for their great quality Persian-style sandwiches and hospitality.

Philly Steak Sandwich was a total SHOWSTOPPER, it was LOADED with Cheesy Philly Steak, topped with Mushroom, Onion, Special Sauce, it’s a MUST! Beef Kabob Wrap had juicy, flavourful Beef Kabob Patty, Smoked Eggplant, Cheese, gosh it was AMAZING! Beef Brisket Poutine came loaded with tender, flavourful Brisket, topped with Gravy and their Special Sauce, YES PLEASE! Spicy Mushroom Cheeseburger came with a juicy Beef Patty, topped with Grilled Peppers, Mushroom, Special Sauce and Cheese, it was so juicy and good! Crispy Coated Fries need no introduction, Golden Fries with Minty-Dill flavoured Sauce, couldn’t go wrong with this! At this point, y’all are probably drooling, go check them out ASAP!

Stopped into this little jem along Shepherd. When you first walk into your greeted with a welcoming smile by two sweet lady's.I got a classic cheese burger combo which was made fast and with in no time my taste buds were thanking me, Every bit was a explosion of heavenly goodness onion rings were ok, but the end of the day its really about the burger so if your ever in the neighborhood plz drop in you won't regret it.

Absolutely love this place! I always get the Philly Steak Sandwich and the portions are HUGE! They hollow out the insides of a loaf of bread and stuff it full with a combination of meat, mushrooms, and cheese! The flavours are amazing and I love the fact that I can bring home the leftovers since I can never finish the sandwich in one sitting. The Philly Steak Sandwich is $15.49 and I personally believe that it’s such a great price for the size of the meal.

This was the best Grill Gate location I've been to thus far. The taste of their famous Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was better here than the other locations I've been to. Also, the Chesseburger here was amazing. Staff was also really friendly. I highly recommend this particular location as it's significantly better than all other Grill Gate locations I've tried.

Grill Gate's burgers are now among my top five in Ontario! We tried the spicy mushroom and the 021 cheeseburger, both were amazing. The patties were fresh and juicy, the bun was toasted perfectly, and the grilled cheese had a beautiful golden color and crispy texture to it. The only issue was that there was a little too much sauce for my taste. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place for delicious burgers!

Good food. The Philly cheesesteak was pretty good. However I was expecting the place to be a little cheaper almost $25 for a Philly cheesesteak combo is definitely on the pricer side. Overall I would recommend the place for its good food and service.

Superb! Don't think these burguers are small, 8oz single (225 grams) and 16oz double(450 grams). They are massive, but the prefect size for someone hungry, grill gate is now on my list of favorite burguers 🤤. Service was great, the taste of this burguers was incredible

Grill Gate's Philly Steak Sandwich left me utterly impressed! The freshness was remarkable. Thinly sliced, juicy steak combined with sauce, mushroom, melted cheese and bread, created a symphony of flavours. I'm already excited about my next visit!

I love their food. It's always so delicious with high quality and good prices. I tried spaceship sandwich, it was fresh and great taste. Costumer service is perfect. Definitely recommended !!!!! The sandwiches are AMAZING!!! 🤩😋🤩

I got a Philly steak sandwich and it was phenomenal. Absolutely delicious. The outside was perfectly toasted and the inside was soft and fluffy. The filling was overfilled and delicious. I tried my cousin's steak poutine and it was great too. My bro got the Meat Punch burger.

I always drive past this place but i didnt really like the way the photos looked lol. Yes yes i know. Dont judge a book by its cover. Boy was I so wrong. The burgers are so delicious!!! The fries were delicious!! The onion rings were superb. I would go back again. I ordered the spicy mushroom cheeseburger. Heaven. It was so juicy and the amount of cheese on there was 😍. I think they even torched the cheese!! My burger was amazing. The only issue i had with the burger which isn’t even really an issue is they only have 8oz burgers. Go with a big appetite. Its worth it! The fries were fresh and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The drinks were your run of the mill pop selection. I think you order at the counter. Thats what we did. Then find your seat. GO TRY THIS PLACE NOW!!

This was probably the best Philly cheese steak I've had in Toronto. The meat was juicy and overflowing out of the toasted and delicious bun. The first were crisp. The white sauce was splendid and the gravy was on point. I was so full after the whole meal and have been thinking about it all night after eating it for lunch. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Quite pricy for the burgers but definitely worth the price. Service is great and the two ladies work hard to get you the best dish on the table. Got the Philly Steak sandwich and mushroom burger.

We came with a family of four. The burgers were very good. Will be coming again. Side dish of the fries is very small so you might want to upgrade.

A great Philly steak sandwich. The bread was amazing and the meat with he mushroom was just perfect. Great customer service. Make sure you eat it fresh, or else the bread will get dry after a while.

Finally we find our favorite place to eat! We got one Spicy Mushroom Cheeseburger and a regular Cheeseburger and crispy fried potato, all were incredibly delicious! The tow ladies who worked there were very nice and friendly They made us feel welcomed by playing our favorite songs!!

First time, went for a late dinner. Part of a plaza with limited parking on-site. Small casual place, 4 tables for dine in and very clean. Take out available. Liked that it was quiet and no loud obnoxious music so we could actually talk and hear each other., order at kitchen window - great selection of burgers, sandwiches and poutine. We ordered the eggplant & mushroom burger combo, beef brisket poutine and a double cheeseburger with guacamole. Food was amazing for the price - quality and care put into each order. You can taste it! Ingredients so fresh and made in house. Presentation 10+. My new favorite burger joint!

Grill Gate has one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever tasted! All ingredients were fresh and you can see your food being prepared in the kitchen right there! Environment is cozy, and the Owner and Staff comprises of some of the sweetest and friendliest ladies in the whole world! Farsi music 🎼 is a bonus and guess what? One of the beautiful team members is a singer too!! 😎😉 Highly recommended.

A cozy place with delicious foods , they have a lots of tasty burgers with fries , it's space is not huge , but suitable for 15 person . The meals are much enough that you can order 1 meal for 2 person . They have not wine or beer . I hope you enjoy it

Best steak and cheese sandwich I've ever had, is it pricey? yes. But was it worth it 100%. I definitely recommend this establishment. If you want to treat yourself to the best steak and cheese sandwich, this is the place to go. The secret sauce that compliments the fries was seriously addictive. Even the plate presentation alone was 10/10. Hidden gem in a surprisingly unexpected and small plaza, but don't let that change your mind. Worth it.

Very nice place. We met the owner who prepared the food by himself even though they have a few locations now. The food is unique and different than other places. Big portions. Worth visiting.

One of the "BEST" Philly Steak have had... Insane big boy portion. Well displayed. Fries can be a main dish on it's own. Love it when food is nicely put together and placed. Can tell who made it cares. Better don't eat it for lunch tho... Will knock you out for the rest of the day... aha aha ah.

I recently had the pleasure of trying a new pizza place in town, and I have to say, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu had a great selection of pizzas, pastas, and other Italian dishes. Overall, I would highly recommend this pizza place to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Persian experience. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the cooking process were evident in every bite, and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes.

The food was good. $30 for a sandwich and small poutine though. It was supposed to come with a drink which we never got. It's just way way too expensive for what it is. Had a Philly cheese steak sandwich combo and upgraded to a poutine. The sandwich was tasty on fresh bread. The poutine was standard Cavendish fries, but very small. While it was good, we just can't go back because it was so expensive.

Crispy, fresh flavorful and tasty! (Even the bun has crispy surface! ) Deliver is slightly pricier but that taste definitely worth the price.

Delicious Philly steak sammich in a fresh bread roll. Over stuffed with delicious steak chunks and cheese, there was more than enough to layer on top of the poutine! Service was excellent, store is run by a beautiful mother and daughter. Highly recommend spot for good eats if you are in the area.

Tried the philly steak and yes it is very good. Fries were tasty, too. I would have given more than a 4 star only if people there would greet and say thank you.

Got the mushroom cheeseburger, delicious, love the brioche bun, juicy patty, and the aioli sauce they put in the hamburger. Interestingly, the cheese is grilled mozzarella.

Absolutely most delicious homemade hamburgers around. Plentiful, deliciously seasoned beef, crispy cheese, sauce is to die for. It's a bit expensive, however, worth every dollar. The staff are friendly, kind and welcoming! Suggest you give it a try! My favourite is the eggplant hamburger!!!

The Philly steak is amazing, delicious, and of course fatty! It is filled with buttery sliced mushrooms with some added herbs and mayo, and buttery grilled meat! It tastes amazing, but if you're looking for some healthy low-fat food, it might not be your preferred choice.

This restaurant is the best sandwich shop on the block. I went here for dinner with my family and I had to come back the best day with my friends because the quality of the sandwiches is unmatched. The portions are a big size and they’re always flavourful. If you go in the evening expect a bit of a wait time due to the dinner rush, but in the afternoon it’s fairly quiet and you can dine in. The staff is always kind and very sweet. One of my favourite restaurants!

Delicious loaded burgers/sandwiches that are full of the right combination of flavours. Fries were just the right amount of crispy. Other than it was slightly a bit saltier than I would have liked, it was perfect!

I had the meat punch sandwich and it was amazing, the sauces were great and the meat was incredibly tasty and tender. We also tried the special chicken poutine which in my opinion was the best thing any of us got, so I would definitely recommend trying it.
