Terrible customer service. First off, no one was wearing masks, neither the people in the kitchen nor the front of house. Asked for onions and parsley in our sandwich, parsley was non-existent and they had put whole onions in the sandwich. Called to give them feedback, they said that's how they cut their onions, and they'll tell their chef. No apology. Took the sandwich in to show them in person, again no apology. They said this is how they cut their onions and they were perfectly fine with how it was.

Horrible pizza. Way over charged for a square small box of cheese pizza with chicken. Very disappointing . You'd think paying $16 for a square box of pizza it would taste good...but their use some think Persian bread which all you taste is bread, didn't have any sauce what so ever . Just disappointed and waste of money. Never again. Right side of the first picture and the 2nd picture is the back of the pizza...its identical to a Hamburger bun.

Ordered the Haida special. Has various ingredients including pickled stuff. Sandwich is large. They only have one type of bread. This place serves pizza as well I think. No washroom here. The place can only offer a few people for dine in as the place is small. This is a good alternative to subway or Mr sub.

I have ordered mexican corn from them and for the past couple of time everytime i ordered they just gave me boiled corn with a little bit of chips it barely had any sauce on it and there was no trace of mushrooms or cheese in them literally none. They used to be decent but they have been horrible in the past year with all their products. Won't ever go back and don't recommend it to anyone!

I waited an hour and a half for 5 sandwich’s, I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. When I asked about the order the lady at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. All I asked for was a range of time. When I did get the food it was average at best. I would give a 3 star review but the customer service was far from satisfactory, I would reconsider if eating here.

Despite mixed reviews, I tried Haida Hot Chicken/ Beef sandwich today - Unfortunately, didn't enjoy it at all. I also think, it's overpriced. Google online for this recipe (Iranian) - I would request to see how you are able to give value for money and also the flavors that stands out. Good luck!

Atmosphere/Service: The place was really small, that's not really recommended for parties bigger than 3. It's a cute place to grab your food and go, except the parking issue. Not really a lot of place to park and grab your food either if you do plan to dine in, the chairs they have are all really hard to climb onto..... or maybe that's because I'm short but I found it difficult and a hassle to get off of. The service was okay as the cashier did recommend the Haida special. Menu/food: Food was decent. I got the Haida Pizza and thought that they were very generous with the toppings on the pizza. It consisted of beef and chicken deli, mozzarella cheese, beef sausage, mushroom, green pepper, olive, special sauce, and ketchup onto of potato sticks onto of a sandwich bun that they apparently made in house. It was definitely not what I was expecting. it was crunchy and meaty which was surprising. The special sauce was some sort of mayo base that I drenched on Overall: Overall, definitely worth a visit..... but once is probably enough for me as I don't really live near the area. Nothing really special for the price that they were charging me.

Found long hair in my sandwich!… disgusting! First time trying this place and never again. Way overpriced for a mediocre taste. The wait was so long, and it’s a sandwich place..

We used to like Here’s a sandwich so when we ordered we asked for “extra sauce” clearly! But when we opened it, we found there was NO SAUCE at all! Can't believe she forgot the sauce. It's not like we ordered many things she was confused. We had to eat a bland taste sandwiches without any sauce. I'm so disappointed here. When I look at here’s Google review. I saw some people mention they forgot the sauce in the sandwich. It’s unacceptable happens often!!!

recently visited this restaurant and had a less than pleasant experience. The wait time for a simple sandwich was incredibly long!! 40 minutes! For one sandwich? despite the restaurant being nearly empty. It was puzzling. To make matters worse, when I asked the cashier for a recommendation on which sandwich to order, they replied, "I don't like anything here!!!" This response left me bewildered and feeling unwelcome as a customer. In terms of the food, it was just average, nothing to write home about. Given the unusual service and lackluster response from the staff, I'd think twice before dining here again.

This was a place I loved going to. I recommended this place to my friends that just came to Canada and today we went there. We came at 11:17 and since it was their first time here, I was recommending them what to get. Then another short lady with black hair came and was extremely rude. She was rushing us and saying that they are closed even though they close at 12! I told her that if it’s too much for them we can go somewhere else and she just said okay, so we left at 11:20. If someone wants to learn how to loose a customer in 3 minutes, you can learn from her! I felt really embarrassed because they came all the way here just because I recommended this place. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever again and will never come here myself. This wasn’t the first time I witnessed that same lady being rude to customers. She is only nice to Persians. Downright racist!! I’m pretty sure if I was Persian she wouldn’t act this way.

I ordered a small pizza for $27 but I received an open baguette with toppings on it and low quality cheese, so disappointing, I had never seen such a thing in my life

Haida is mainly wellknown for it's cold sandwiches in Iran. But here they have some other tempting options here. - First and foremost, Mexican Corn. It's boiled sweet corn with mushrooms, butter, cheese, chips and sauce. I liked it as always. - They also have Istak, non-alchoholic beer. I recommend the Hawaiian taste if you would like to try. - I got a Lamb Special. It's a cold sandwitch and I liked it. - I also recommend Sosis Bandari. It's sausage fried with caramalized onion. For sweet options, they have Ice Pack. It's a shake with ice cream, banana, chcolate and smarties/chocolate chips/kitkat. All in all, good for the price and if you have the nostalgia with the brand.

Don’t go there. The cashier called mania add tip to your bill without notifying you and when you tell her to return your money, She behaves you vey bad! And denies what she does to you in very unprofessional and impolite way!!

Love this place. I used to have lots of Haida sandwiches when I was in Iran. Whenever I go to Toronto I stop at this place and get some gooood sandwiches. They have Istak lol which is unbelievable. Totally recommend this place.

Tried to pay for a sandwich with credit, the machine said 'lost connection' and the transaction didn't go through. Had this happen once in the past at the same store, but the second attempt worked fine that time. This time, after trying again I got the same error, and the cashier gave me a rude look and told me my card was rejected. I know for a fact my card was not the issue, and told the cashier that the machine said the connection was lost but they wouldn't hear it. I tried a third time and the cashier definitely saw the message, but told me my card was not working again. I only had $100 dollar bill which they would not accept (fair enough), and the cashier didn't seem to think their machine was the issue, so I left. Went across the street and bought a sandwich with no issue on the card, and bought bubble tea as well from another store with the same card. Giving this 2 stars because the sandwiches are actually decent here, but the service was possibly the rudest I've ever had.

This review only applies to the wait time. A number of customers including us had to wait around 40 minutes for few sandwiches. The number of staff needs to increase specially during busy periods. Regardless of how good food quality is, this type of wait time is not acceptable. No specific employee is to blame as I am sure everyone is working hard. Simply, the owners need to cut profit a bit by hiring more staff.

We got three different cold cut sandwiches. The ingredients were fresh. The portion was big enough. The packing was good. The problem was with the sauce that was too hot for our kid. We had not asked for spicy food and it was not mentioned in the menu that the sauce is hot by default for all sandwiches! I wanted to give them 4 stars but decided to call them first to talk about the issue but the customer service was bad enough to lose another star! P.S. it was not our first purchase with Haida. But it was the first time in Canada! Maybe it surprised us the most because we expected the same taste with the brand.

The food was amazing! We got the Persian Empire pizza and it was so delicious, came with a special sauce that we liked a lot. Would highly recommend.

Persian style sandwiches, Leila is friendly and gives good advises, we tried Bandari and Royal and they were tasty, the preparation takes a lot bit time, don’t hesitate to give it a try!

I don’t even need to talk about the food, it’s the exact great quality you are looking for! A gem in North york! But I want to talk about their staff! Oh my god, the best ones you can imagine! Every time I go there, Manager(Shohreh) goes above and beyond! She is the most professional and sweetest person I’ve ever met!! Thanks for 5star food and costumer service!

Took them 45 minutes to prepare 1 sandwich. Got embarrassed to have invited a friend to try this place. Poor Customer service. Also witnessed multiple food delivery drivers to come for pick up, but none of the orders were ready, and they had to wait at least half an hour. Wondering why the management of this place doesn’t value the customers’ time, nor the drivers that are working.

I’m a big fan of Haida, but it was the first and the last time I went to THIS location. The receptionist was impolite! the tomato in my sandwich tasted mold!!! My friends and I ordered and paid and right AFTER we paid she said it’s gonna take 45minutes!

They have increased their sandwich to 16$ after tax! That's like a whole meal you can buy for 16$! And secondly they used to use a big fresh bread but now it's not the same anymore like before! Their sausage isn't even have the same taste like Iran! I believe they are purchasing it here and scamming to people. Not satisfied at all

Worst experience. I ordered 2 Ice cap, the person who works there gave us the ice cap that was most like hot chocolate on a plastic cup without the lid. IT WAS NOT ICE CAP. $24.85 for 2 Ice cap. Don't waste your money here. The photo on the menu is TOTALLY different than what they give you. Never go there again.

Tastes original and fantastic! We brought our Canadian friend and he loved the Bandari sandwich. Recommended! Sitting area is not so big though.

We love Roastbeef Sandwich of Haida; the price is quite reasonable considering the consistently high quality of product. I have a couple of non-Iranian chef and cook friends who have all approved the quality of this sandwich. Above all, Leila has awesome customer care whenever I order on the phone, and stop by to collect my sandwich. I high recommend trying this unique store and product.

The service was quick and cool. I ordered online. The location was great with a quick parking spot. Ambiance is decent. I ordered the Mortadella and it was amazing. With Mexican corn which was equally amazing. That sandwich is for two people minimum! Will come again.

Service from them was excellent, they were very diligent and respectful to me as their customer. When I informed them of an issue with my order, they apologized and promptly replaced it. We really appreciated their excellent cashier, manager and worker who made our visit to their restaurant enjoyable and filled us up with delicious food. Haida has amazing service. People who work there are also super polite and have cutting edge customer service etiquette. The food is great. I have ordered from them over the span of 6 years now and been super happy.🌷 Definitely recommend.

Haida is a good place to eat but, to be honest, it doesn't wow me! The food quality was good, but it took them so much time to prepare each order! The funny thing about this restaurant is that their Uber Eats prices are MUCH higher than their regular prices! And it's ridiculous! Overall, if you're out with friends or walking nearby and hungry, you can give it a shot.
