I’ve always heard of IKEA having food but I never tried it until now. I ended up stopping off for some breakfast with my friend right before heading off to work. All the items I had on my plate tasted good. No complaints. The best part was picking and choosing what you want to put on your tray that catches your eye. Gives off a cafeteria vibe. I enjoyed my experience here and I would definitely come back. Thank you!

Worth a visit if you are nearby or walking through the IKEA store. The smoked salmon was the dish that I liked the most here. The fries in the fish and chips were unsalted and soggy. The Swedish meatballs are better than normal meatballs, but did not standout otherwise.

The meatballsssss are amazing!! I also love the fish and fries because they are very crispy but soft on the inside. Their cakes are also so delicious. I don’t even need to be shopping to go eat here, I always just stop by ikea to eat their food.

Quick, convenient, and cheap food. Tried the new strawberry soft serve flavour which was so pretty but I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste. The actual meal itself from the dining area is okay. The mashed potato & meatballs are my favourite.

Quick service, Tasty food and super Affordable rates!! And lots of shopping!! :) IKEA restaurant is my favorite part of IKEA shopping. After those hours of walking around and shopping, when tummy grumbles, the restaurant feels like a blessing :) Great customer service. Good food, tasty and served hot. Enough options to choose from. Free refill on drinks. Feel good ambience. Neat seating area. You never have to worry about finding a table.

The food is decent yet quite affordable here. We ordered two chocolates, a 12-piece serving of Swedish meatballs, carrot cake, macaroni, garlic bread, tomato soup, and refillable drinks. Their carrot cake is excellent and not overly sugary. The only drawback, in my opinion, is that the servers did not understand us when we asked for an empty plate. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our brunch that day despite this.

Great value, $10-$20 per person. It’s everything you can expect from IKEA (clean, well lit and designed environment with helpful staff). Family friendly!

This was my first time going to an ikea restaurant, as it was conveniently located right next to a highway exit during a traffic jam on highway 401. For anyone in a similar situation I recommend dropping by the Ikea restaurant to try out the food here. I tried the halibut fishnchips, the salmon with veggies and a large poutine. The food itself was very good for the price, the fishnchips were very good as well as the salmon. I did think the salmon was a bit bland and small serving size, however for the price and nordic cuisine taste it was good. The fish n chips and poutine were decent as well (of course nothing out of this world). I enjoyed the fruit juices on tap, as they were extremely refreshing and had several different and unique flavors like pear, fresh lemon, raspberry. I will definitely come back here in the near future, maybe with some friends to accompany me to try this place out again. Next time I want to try out the

A nice lunch for two. Fish and Chips were an ample size. Salmon meal was also nicely presented as a cafeteria item. Service was kind and quick. The seating is nice for a cafeteria but it is at times loud and somewhat crowded. Washrooms there are okay, very busy. The pecan waffer pie chocolate pie is the bomb for the price.

Best quality quick serve restaurant, that is priced below food court offerings. IKEA restaurant always offers great value and healthy nutritional meals at a fraction of the cost. For the hungry eaters, you can order a main meal and add $2 for 4 additional meatball sides. I typically get the open faced shrimp sandwich with hardboiled egg and a hot potato medallion. IKEA members get a cup of free coffee/tea with their order.

Always a great, very reasonably priced, place to eat with a variety of entrees, sides, and desserts. They will even let you order a child's plate just to sample an entree. It can be crowded at certain times so I would suggest you go early or avoid weekends. 👍👍

No matter where we compare we always end up buying from Ikea.. it's truely unbeatable. Price, quality, and even the service.. even good food. We always come here with kids and shop around, let kids play in the kid's zone and buy them some toys, eat in the cafeteria where we get free coffee everytime we visit with the family card.

This location is very busy! So, that's why I'm giving a 3 for the atmosphere. It's a chaotic location. That said, the restaurant is really great. Lots of space, seating, and staff are very friendly. Food is pretty good and the prices are more than fair. The store itself is really big, but inventory is ify. I would research online before making the trip. But overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Well the food is good as far as you can expect from an affordable meal. It is comfort food and given the price I am happy to give them 4 stars

The IKEA restaurant has a decently large selection of food, including salmon, meatballs, mashed potatoes, fried fish, french fries, cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, pies, garlic bread, and various types of soups. They also have some unique drinks, such as pear juice and loganberry juice. The prices are low and the staff are friendly. The food court is bright, spacious and has lots of seating. I would recommend coming here for an affordable and tasty meal.

Having a meal at Ikea is an experience, no doubt. It perhaps takes you back to your high-school days, when you had to line up and enjoyed looking around, as you advanced. When I was a meat eater, over 15 years ago, I used to feel a lot better when spending $0.99 at IKEA while determined to shop there after boosting up my energy to do start travel their little city indoors. I used eggs and likely hashbrown or fries, and this came with their little sausages and if not mistaken, even bacon. I was not crazy about the little sausages or bacon (likely a personal issue). Now, on the other hand, their veggie plate contains their little IKEA Veggie Balls, however, IKEA gives them no justice. These are sold at IKEA, and they taste pretty good if you make them in a toaster oven and leave them there long enough. The vegetables, again, these are frozen originally, and that is fine, but we all know, if you warm these on a frying pan, perhaps you could even do it on a toaster oven, the flavors will be enhanced tremendously. Ikea has managed to erase their DNA before they make ut to your plate. Not even hospital food is so "blah", like my dad used to say. The price of the new plates are much higher these days, but the IKEA Cheffs, kitchen staff, cashiers and upkeep staff amazing. Managers determine how to serve these meals, so this review goes to them. We love IKEA, but there have been some unexpected changes in your meals, or perhaps I have been too busy in thought to be determined to post. Your salad bowls are about 1-1/2 high, with a diameter of like 3-4". When I saw how little salad my wife got, I got concened. Dhe said she followed the picture of the dish displayed. Ok, what is good: your coffee is good and your machines are very nice (apparently decaf is no longer an option for the night). ... on that note, I would outline what to pull to get milk/cream out. I believe the coffee machine also has no outline of coffee cup. And one machine says something like coffee and the other regular coffee (how about whe just write "Coffee (cafeinated)" Your potatoe medallions are quite good. I like these when warm. Your new salad wrap is alright, but I would add a little something else to it to make it a little more wholesome. It is pretty ok as it is though. The wrap you use is a great choice. Needs improvement: Your cheesecake could use about 75% less sugar. Your vegetables need a different process and spices. For example: oregano, rosemary, basil something that brings back their life. Anyway, if nobody provides feedback on how they feel, how can you make new choices. Happy holidays IKEA and thank you for your presence and also for listening/reading.

Good IKEA store. But it's very congested compared to numbers of footfalls. Washroom looks like smaller than a Tim-Hortons'. This store is lacking adequate number of employees to serve customers.

Good luck returning, 365 return police because you will likely need it to return in the 1st place. Did a whole return process online to get a quick return, only to find that they have a QR code to queue you in a return line as you come in. Why didn’t the whole process just make an appointment for me.

More employees needed definitely. After one hour in line you get the food because there's only one staff serving. The line moves so slowly that you can actually finish two rounds of lol game.

its your responsibility to aware customers that which item is incomplete and some parts are out of stock so dont buy that produxt. for example in queen bed section all ikea out of bed slats but still there is nothing mention on marketplace and displays that you need bed slats as well which not comes in packaging and we are out of stock. so if you written ... PLZ WRITTEN CLEARLY THE ITEMS WHICH IS OUT OF STOCK

After walking the IKEA ideas kilometer the stomach grumbled and the mouth felt parched. Around the next corner the restaurant appeared. Grabbed a pear drink with potato and gravy. Very delicious and the cafeteria atmosphere was abuzz with excited holiday shoppers

Just the regular Ikea. Decent prices for decent goods. However, noticed there were only 2 washrooms at one of the eating places with lines outside...so if you have children, beware.

Covid affect, the portion is smaller like all the restaurants. The fish and chips is not as good as before, fries are terrible. Jun 2023 Update - Deducted one star further due to the Bistro experience. Bought the ice cream on discount, so did the size but at least, shaped it right please! (check out the 2nd pic)

Grabbed some breakfast before shopping but they ran out of fruit for the crepes as well as bacon, so had the breakfast with sausages. Sausages extreme greasy/fatty tasting. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs. Garlic bread was nice. This was at 1045am, and they opened at 10 am so very surprised they ran out of food so quickly. Cinnamon bun was tasty and loved the lemon soft drink and the pear soft drink. Also, I grabbed the frozen yogurt. Again, they were out of regular cones, so ordered kids size. Vanilla was fake tasting, but strawberry was tasty.

Swedish Meatballs, poutine and haddock with chips. Reliable and satisfying onsite dining after a day of shopping. Wish they served some Tabasco or equivalent hot sauce, but hard to be critical when the food was good.

Standard 2 Kitchen canteen & Cashier lines, 1 centre island style beverages station, Very Large cafeteria dining area, regularly cleaning staff, easy access washrooms, affordable price for all meals, what else can you ask for?

Their new returns and exchange system is horribly inefficient. Online queueing and customer service reps wait up to 15 minutes for customers not present to come in when they are next in line. As a result, lots of reps waiting around while customers are just waiting around like they have nothing better to do as they wait 45 minutes - 1 hour !

Foods were relatively cheap and tasted decent. The salmon and potato cakes were delicious, but the cheese on the poutine were a bit too cold.

IKEA delivers a very well established shopping experience. This particular store is conveniently located near a Canadian tire. Tip: park on the roof to avoid the busy ground level lot. An unexpected benefit in the COVID era: the place provides a much needed fun adventure suitable for all ages. Spend a couple of relaxing hours browsing the wide variety of modesty priced practical (and sometimes weird) items... try your hand at pronouncing the wacky product names. Browsing the kitchen area will generally result in the discovery of a previously unknown nicknack that you simply must have. For example, I found a tiny cage suitable for temporary transport of small primates. See picture. Cap it off with a coffee and Daim slice. What's not to like?
