I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE BOOTS! THEY CRACK!! My tall black patent Hunter Boots cracked in many places where the ankle bends on both boots within three years. Not only did they leak after three years,, the finish on the black shiny boot irreparably scratched early on (first wear) allowing dirt to sink in and NEVER come clean. My very expensive boots were a disaster. When I asked Hunter to replace them, they said no, without exception, because the boots were outside the 2 year warranty period. My boots conveniently lasted just beyond that. Hunter's solution was to offer me a 25% discount on a new pair- as if I would EVER waste my money again.

Having the Queen's Royal Warrants of Appointment is quite the claim... I'm not sure how many there are in the world but Hunter is one of the six I know and bought. But to be THEE royal rain long boots and claim to be so fashionable you're in Princess Diana's engagement pics, I don't know who else can pull that off than Hunter. Hunter had it's recent revival with a lot street wear and kids wearing their long rubber rain boots... I think having them come in EVERY colour other than the usual dark black or green gave them their renaissance. When I saw they had their boots in dusty pink, metallic silver, turquoise, and super shiny patent leather imitations... I knew Hunter was picking up on the trends. I was very surprised to also see they had lots of outer wear options and back packs. With most jackets, they were rain coat focused with materials like vinyl or rubber. Though they did have a few softer options like waterproof quilted jackets and cotton smocks. The styling is still the classic British rain jackets designs but colours are vibrant and bold... fun even. Their bags are mostly casual with most looking like a regular tote. Similar to the coats, they're sensible in designs but they took a left turn and made all the colours stand out. I do have to comment that with having the Royal Warrant for high quality, you do pay for it... a nylon weekend bag for $160? An umbrella for $60? That classic tall rubber boot is $180. This is not for anyone who is penny pinching that's for sure. As for service... I did see 3 people about but not one of them were actually helping anyone in particular. It seemed like they were more observing people walking in and out. It was quite odd for a brand that is definitely marketed to be more upscale. I mean you could buy a $40 rubber boot anywhere... why spend the $180 to only be ignored in the store? I guess if you want to splash around like Royalty, Hunter is your only brand but honestly, it looks cute with some of the designs. Affordable... definitely not but I do know those who do buy a Hunter boots often buy another.

Cute store. Love the colourful displays and fun use of fixtures to showcase Hunter products. The staff here are absolutely delightful. Helpful but not overbearing... I’m such a fan of this company’s products and I am absolutely delighted to finally have a store dedicated to their brand in Yorkdale. I have had my first pair of hunter boots for a little over a decade now....and they still have some wear left in them. They make great products and this store is absolutely gorgeous!

Have ever tried to be a customer at a store and not matter how hard you try they just don't want you. This place is so successful they don't need you and they prove it through their customer service.

Known for their rubber boots under the order of HM the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, they also have rain jackets and bags. Airy store. Pleasant staff. Some boots are heavy though, I guess that's the price of heritage.

I didn't buy anything as they didn't have the size of rainboot my son needed, but this is a really lovely store, great range of products (their raincoats are gorgeous!) and the staff are very helpful.

They are very expensive and poor quality. I bought a pair a year ago and they are broken. I didn't even ask for a replacement pair, just for a small repair. Customer service refused. I bought a pair of the original tall boots only a year ago and I was pleased with them. The sales rep told me that they were a good investment as they were made with high quality material and would last. This week, the buckle on one of my boots fell off. The metal pieces holding the buckle in place had snapped apart. I tried contacting their customer service because I wanted a replacement BUCKLE, not even a replacement boot, and they refused to help me. Now I can't tighten the strap on the left boot and it just kind of hangs there. Don't spend 200 dollars on a pair of boots that only last a year.

I tried out my new rain boots this morning and realized when I put them on that they were a little too tight. Took them back to the Yorkdale store when they opened this morning and exchanged for the next size up. No hassles. Very friendly staff. I wish all customer service experiences in life were this problem free.
