I am lactose intolerant and sensitive to caffeine. i ordered Derioca soy and received Matcha latte which resulted to Headache and diarrhea. the label on the cup says derioca soy and I definitely checked the label before drinking. Sipped twice and realized something was wrong. To my surprise, i received matcha latte. This is not the only time i had a bad experience at this location. There were several occasion we came across rude staff. Definitely Zero when it comes to customer service. Despite the fact, we continued buying from this location. But this time around, since my health has been been compromised, i think it's just right to send a complaint about this incident.this is definitely Food and Safety concern.

I love the alley. Most of the time. This location changed my mind. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this location. The service was very slow, we were forced to wait while the cashier was doing something miscellaneous behind the glass and there was another worker making the tea, who was wearing his mask on his chin.

Bubble tea was good! Service was a little slow, the wait time was 30 minutes after we ordered two cups of bubble tea. There was only 2 people in the store; unknown amount of mobile online orders. Probably wouldn’t go to this location again since there’s so many choices on the street. The drinks were good though.

The cashier literally decided to change the policy of “first come first service” due to another customer. I ordered a simple royal n9, on a tight schedule to get to an event later in the evening. 4 minutes after I ordered (in the empty store) a blonde white guy comes in & flirts with the cashier… leading him to get his drink within 2 minutes, before mine was even made. I still was waiting for several minutes (hoping they were making mine), I was only noticed after I took a phone call asking why I was late…. To which I mentioned I was “cut in line”. Thankfully another worker noticed this & made my drink, I was waiting for 15 minutes in an empty store just because a guy batted his eyelids at the cashier. Frustrated as I was on a tight schedule.

WORST LOCATION!!! The man (or manager) is so rude. He yells at customers and hangs up when you try and call to express a concern. They have no customer service skills and they will get your order wrong and blame it on you. Do not order from here. The Alley is great but this location is terrible. There are also many other amazing bubble tea places that value customers.

❗️Please check your order before leaving ! I find that employees can miss certain details on the order! Items may be made hot instead of cold or the ice level is incorrect. I’ve ordered here twice and it’s happened both times.❗️ Very small bubble tea place located in the Yonge and finch area. There is street parking on Yonge but it can get packed as there are many restaurants in the area too. I love their soy milk brown sugar drink. Limited seating, a bench and a few seats. They do take credit card, no Amex. They do UberEats too. I’m not sure if it’s a communication or just a mistake but they made one of the cold drinks into a hot drink. The label and receipt indicated a cold, less ice, drink but it was prepared hot in a hot cup. There are plenty bubble tea places in the area. If you’re a fan of soy milk and brown sugar, I recommend getting it here. Update: Went back for a second visit. I ordered 9 drinks, one drink was suppose to have no ice but they put ice in it. The seal on the large uji matcha latte was not sealed properly. Other than that, the drinks were good.

Very good menu, the places rises above the many other options in the area. Consistently good experience. Occasionally sells out of some unique specialty teas.

I'm really sad, they had the pom pom Purin event. I was so hoping they would the cup sleeve, there was no notice that they are out. If I was allowed to get the display one I would have gotten the cooler as well didn't want one without the other. So this location lost a $30+tax sale. The lady offered to call me when they get it. So I gave them my number. But another hour to and from the location isn't ideal. I event just started and they are already out ingredients for the the drinks. I know it not the location fault but as a company they should have sent enough for a few weeks, along with the merchandise as we all know the Sanrio is really popular. Just really sad I even tried to call so I wouldn't waste a trip and I was told they have problems with the phone. I really hope I can get the Cup sleeve has I would likely use it.

this is probably one of the least reliable Alley locations in the GTA. i live close so i stop by a lot and they're never in stock. my chance of getting my drink is like 20%. they were once out of all milk literally in the middle of the day on a random thursday. how????

I have always liked The Alley and have been going here since it first came to Toronto. I always get the royal no 9 as I liked the hint of blueberry in the flavour but also like their iron goddess. I'm a bit disappointed lately as the quality of the tea hasn't been the same. I've noticed that it's tasted a bit watered down and I find myself not wanting to spend about seven dollars in a drink that I wouldn't really enjoy. I've only really been saving the points for a free drink and would probably only come every now and then. I'm not too sure about other locations but this experience is from this location specifically.

I was at this location once. Yonge and finch. The most horrible experience out of all the alleys I visited. Two obnoxious girls at your service. The quality of drinks very low. They don’t care like the other locations and they are very slow with service. I was first in line and four people behind me. I got my drinks last. Would not recommend this location at all. Customer service below zero.

I asked if they had cheese foam, the guy at the counter said that their "snowy velvet" series was cheese foam. DO NOT GET IT IF YOU EXPECT A FOAM ON YOUR DRINK. I ordered it and got a couple drops of white liquid on top of my tea. Not at all what I wanted. It tastes ok but it wasn't what I was expecting and it cost me 7 bucks. Waste of time and money

Good service, although a bit slow. We were the only two in the shop and it is quite small, but our drinks took a while to make, I wonder how it would have gone if it was busier in the store. Our drinks were very tasty and we both got the matcha special, it was the regular size and although a little pricy, very tasty and fresh. The matcha was delicious and it was nice that I was able to get soy milk at no extra cost.

The cashiers need to know what is CUSTOMER SERVICE and how to BEHAVE. As a customer who pay $8 for a medium one size drink that quite expensive compare to other bubble tea store but their attitude just entitled, rude, and so unprofessional. We came 30mins before closing, we wanted to order the crunchy series, they answered us in an attitude said that they're out of stock and wont able to substitute so they cant make the drink. To be honest, the cashiers better find a factory job or stay at home wife so they dont have to be so annoyed when people come to their business. The entire review section mostly complained about their attitude and the problem they have for years but sadly it doesnt seem like they care or try to work on the problems.

If you ever wanna go there make sure you go before 1 hour of there closing because we went in to the commerce gate location and they were out of tapioca so we decided to drive to the young street location. And the lady doesn’t seem interested in selling any products and when asked for brown sugar crunchy tea she said they don’t have tapioca as they were about to close . Their google page says they close at 11:15 and at 10:45 (30mins before they close ) they said they don’t have it as they are close to their closing time . I suggest to change your closing time to the time when you decide not to keep the product . 2 locations we went to one at 10:30 another at 10:45 and both don’t have tapioca because they are about to close in half hour . That’s the funniest thing to see a bubble tea store not have tapioca 45 mins before their close because they will be closing soon . Such a joke and waste of time . Never coming back to this place again.

The 2 female servers were rude. They were out of tapioca and were not ready to give me any other options except for waiting 10 minutes for a new shipment to arrive. I didn't have the time. I suggested substituting another topping instead of the tapioca. They said I would have to pay more. At the time, I was glad to just get my drink and go and pay more but now that I think about it, it would have made more business sense to not upcharge me. The servers were entitled, rude, and uncaring. Not what I was expecting for an $8.00 drink. Fortunately, the drink was alright.

Good service, quick and very refreshing Tea. We ordered green passion fruit tea, less sugar, regular ice. Really good for summer days.

My experience with the Alley has been amazing since I discovered the crunchy tiramisu milk tea (Scarborough town center setting the bar high) Had to order it when I saw the location at North York. Unfortunately it was a huge fail from this location. A bunch of crunched ice and a non-milky, flavourless tea is what I received.

So bad. Can you imagination that they sell bubble without STRAW ? We paid 2 cups of bubble tea after that they said “ NO STRAW “!!! How can we drink its? They said we don’t know :))) wow🚽

I've always ordered crunchy tiramisu milk tea from the alley. Today I ordered it from this location and was so disappointed. The guy who made my drink did not blend the ice properly at all. There was chunky pieces of ice when you drink. I literally had to wait for the drink to melt in order to drink! Stay away from this location if you can!

Very unique taste! I ordered Royal No. 9 because I'm not a fan of tapioca and it taste "fruity" so to speak and I love it. My fiancè ordered The alley trio milk tea and he said it tasted like Bailey's. One of the best bubble tea place so far.

Ordered 2 deeorica, 1 strawberries crunchy milk tea through doordash . No straws were given, can’t even drink. Called the store, staffs had the audacity to lie to me that they have already put, no apologies for their own mistake. Please don’t support this the Alley, others The Alley are way better.

The Alley is one of, if not, the best places to get bubble tea. I always order their Deerioca Fever and I’m always blown away by their tapioca/boba balls. Staff is always welcoming and I highly recommend anyone to go here to try, especially if you haven’t tried bubble tea at all!

I ordered the new mango green tea with aloe. When I got to my car and finally drank it, there was no aloe. Super disappointed

I really feel like you can tell how good the bubble tea is at any given location by drinking them without sugar. Sadly, this location didn't pass the test. Their bubble tea may as well have been water. Service was good though and the staff took their time to explain the different drinks that were available. I had a review here before but it looks like it was removed for some reason

This spot is one of my favorite places to grab a bubble tea. I got the golden mango tea beer today but I’m gonna stick to Royal.9 again!

Became one of my favourite bubble tea places. Can't go wrong with Royal #9 😍😍😍 The tea flavour is strong which makes bubble tea so aromatic
