I had a good lunch at Mabu Station. It's a small location, but the booths are comfortable. We ordered the Taiwanese Style Griddle Beef with Rice, and their Japanese style Omelet with Curry. The griddle beef was flavorful and filled with tasty veggies, but not enough beef, in my opinion. The Omelet with Curry was great, a good homestyle dish.

Kind and attentive staff!! The food is great and thoroughly seasoned I enjoyed every dish! Definitely a must try if you like seafood as well! They also nailed the desserts hard! I recommend the Oreo tart one with Nutella!

WOW. I can’t believe this place only has 3.7 stars. It is NOT a representation of the quality of food. Everything was absolutely AMAZING. We added cheese, eggs, and fish cakes to the Japanese style hot pot. It may not be everyone’s cuppa tea, but if you love hot pot, awesome appetizers, and a cute atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed! Also their desserts are super rad. 5/5 will be back ASAP.

Was looking for a late night dessert spot and this place was one of the few spots opened. Dessert was just okay. They definitely put work into their presentation to make it look nice. They put dry ice on the mango sweet bread dessert for a cool effect. A bit expensive for what it is.

My go to spot for Taiwanese popcorn chicken. I came here on a Saturday night at 11:30pm and was informed that they closed at 12:00am. We were able to get a table for 2 and the kitchen was still opened. I noticed that the menu is significantly smaller than the menu precovid. We ordered the Taiwanese style popcorn chicken, house special Taiwanese style minced pork on rice and the chilled mango sago cream with pomelo. Everything hit the spot and it was a great meal for 2. Highly recommend if you're feeling something savory and Asian desserts. I would comeback in a heartbeat as this is a go-to spot in my books for a reliable meal.

Somewhat subpar experience. Ordered hot and sour sweet potato noodles takeout. Food was ready quickly. Noodles were below avg quality. Same with soup flavour, plenty of spicy and salty, but no sour and flavours didn't combine well. Little overpriced what for it is. Plenty of better options nearby. 2 stars, would not recommend

First came here for drinks. Then I came back again to try the food. Price are pretty steep but the food is good, flavourful. I love their minced pork in rice and noodles. The broth is really tasty. Their popcorn chicken tastes legit. Fast service, helpful staffs.

Very tasty food. Ordered the Fried pork chop with Japanese curry omelette rice with Buy 1 get 1 free promotion via Uber, and my family enjoyed the food very much.

Cute spot! Not too large so prime times probably get tight. Desert menu is extensive. Prices are a little steep—compared to some other places offering comparable. But overall great food.

Second time here and every dish I’ve gotten had been absolutely delicious. The broth of the hot pot is some of the best broth I’ve ever tasted. I haven’t had a single item that wasn’t delicious. Don’t let the reviews deter you, it is soooo good.

I came here with a small group of friends on a Friday evening. It was not too busy so we were seated quickly. Mabu Station offers a wide variety of Taiwanese food, drinks and desserts. Their menu is through a QR code which can be found on the table. It is also used to place your order which I like as it's so efficient. You would pay after you asked for the bill. Keep in mind that there are a few typos on the menu itself. My friends ordered the Sweet Taro Coconut Milk with Sago (A23), Chilled Mango Sago (A22) and I ordered the Roasted Milk Oolong Tea (T15). These 3 items were not bad since it is refreshing and the flavour was good. My other friend ordered the Japanese Style Soybean Milk Tiramisu (A08). I had the opportunity to grab a bite and I must say this one was fire 🔥. We all did not expect the presentation of this dish to be outstanding. The texture of the tiramisu was done perfectly. Overall, the service was not bad. This place opens until 4am so it is great to come chill and relax with friends. You may find parking challenging around this area. I would definitely come back to try out more of their food items! 👍

Food was pretty good. They had great popcorn chicken. However, their online menu is not formatted the best so it's a bit confusing and limited.

Though not many vegan or vegetarian meal options that are worth the price, the service is impeccable. My friend and I went around lunch time and had two sets, and talked for quite a while (close to 5 hours). The waitress did not pressure us in any way to leave the restaurant, given that the time we went there, there were not many people for dine in. She was very sweet and even informed us that she would be going to the washroom and that she would be back in five minutes, so that if we needed anything we would know she was not ignoring us. Overall, if you have no food restrictions, this restaurant is definitely worth the price and environment.

Decent food, but pricey and poor service. The milk tea containers that were served to us were unwiped and had tea all over the outside and the waitress seemed clueless about where orders should be going.

One of my go-tos on Yonge street. Delicious food & reasonable prices. Just be careful for the numbing powder spice, if you’re not used to it 😅 I always order the Kim chi rice bowl it’s my favorite 🤩

The service better than 3 year ago, so I increase the rating from 1 to 3.

The store is a little odd, with two different storefronts which are separate. The food is quite good and authentic tasting, although it may take a little time to get your hot food. The popcorn chicken was great and was a decent portion for a good price, coming with a slightly spicy mayo. The mango sago was refreshing and satisfying. I look forward to trying their hot pots in the future.

It was 1:00 am and this was the only spot open for bubble tea. I got their “famous grandma mung bean bubble tea” according to our server was a very popular item on the menu, only for it to taste like milk mixed with cooked mung beans. Yes actual Mung beans. It was disgusting and i would not recommend it.

Came with my sister today and ordered The Fried Pork Chop Mapo Tofu with Rice. The rice is a bit undercooked, making it kinda rough to chew. The last two pieces of the fried pork chop was undercooked, I tried not to pay any mind and ate it, but it was sour. I was very thrown off by that and just cannot eat any more of the pork chop, but I finished everything else. My sister ordered the Mabu Special Minced Pork with Hot and Sour Soup but there is barely any meat. The waiter was nice, the atmosphere was nice, everything was fine but not after the sour taste in the pork. Kinda ruined my experience, and made me questioned whether the food was actually fresh.

Food tastes okay except some unfamilar smell. It smells like a bamboo, and it comes from every meal. Unsure it is some authentic taste or smell of a country's food but not pleasurable for me as it was too strong. Other than that other services were not bad. I saw all the girls from kitchen running outside and bringing smokes/smells inside of restaurant should be considerable if you are demanding higher than the other restaurants. Lack of professionalism. I might not come back but it was interesting experience from ordering to eating.

This restaurant has good comfort food. Rich in flavor and not always healthy but it's comfort food so who cares ;) They have patio seating but parking here is a bit challenging.

For food it gets 5 Star. For service only I would give 2. the girl serving just kept on avoiding us when we tried to order and would sigh when she had to come to us. We didn't feel friendly enough to order more. However the food was amazing. The fish soup was the showstopper. I will def come back on a rainy day.
