I ordered iced mango green tea to go today, the drink was very bad. It was like sugar water. The waitress' service was nice, she did everything she could, but the drink was too bad. I will not go there again.

Felt very out of place here. Was looked at and stared at uncomfortably. The person taking my order was rude. I ordered a taro slush which didn’t taste as good as other locations which I’ve been to. If you aren’t of Asian ethnicity I suggest not coming here you won’t be treated with respect.

I ordered a Large Iced Green Tea with Honey and it tastes like sugared water. I couldn’t taste any trace of tea at all. TenRen has a good reputation in Hong Kong and Taiwan for their high quality tea, very disappointed by the lack of tea flavour in the drink. Hopefully the shop owners are aware of it and are willing to improve.

Solid food and quick service. Slightly overpriced bubble tea but their brand and their tea is top of the line which I do agree with. In the city of Toronto likely one of the better bubble tea in terms of tea quality. I'd say the tea > food. Other than the crispy fried chicken which is always good.

Got the taiwanese fried chicken + takoyaki. Othsmanus oolong tea + a Chrysanthemum tea. Both the food and the teas were excellent. The service was great as well. Me and my friend absentmindedly stayed talking almost an hour past closing and the owner just quietly waited and let us finish our night. Highly recommend for good tea, good food and good time

The woolong milk tea I ordered was very watery. The waitress in her sweat shorts had a bad attitude. It seemed that she had not been taught to be courteous with others. I am always kind to others, and that sometimes is taken advantage of because they see it as a sign of weakness. These obnoxious teenagers who have not been around in the world do not know that kindness is one of the most powerful traits. I was very tempted not to tip her. Why should we tip bad servers anyways? It has become a norm that is very toxic and unjust.

Good food, terrible service. The server ignored all the customers and stood in the corner the entire night. Everyone had to go to her to order/pay. She only answered “yes” or “no” and “ok” to our questions and requests. The restaurant should know that they are paying this server to read a book during her whole shift.

I love Ten Ren's Tea. Their foods are deliciously infused with teas and their teas are amazing. Their prices are good for the portions. The staff at Empress and Yonge are so cheerful and nice. I love how they make my Logon Ginger tea mmmm yummy 😋😋 If you haven't tried their food, you're missing out. Thy have chicken, beef, pork, tofu, egg, fish and veggie dishes. Every dish I tried so far, made my taste buds sing. If you are a #foodie like me, you will love this little gem hidden on the southeast corner of Empress and Yonge street. Also, they have 🚻that you may use and they have a points and system. If you accumulate enough points you can free teas 🍵😉 Enjoy. 好吃😋

Don’t order bbt from here. I ordered one black tea passion fruit and one taro. Taro tasted like a generic instant powder bbt and passion fruit (50% sugar) was so bitter and stale. The passion fruit black tea tasted like they used really stale and old black tea that was steeped for way too long. I wouldn’t complain too much if it weren’t for how over priced it was. They charged around eight dollars per drink. Very disappointed and will not be going back

The food and drinks are always good but the service is so bad. The waitress clearly hates her job and I received one of the worst restaurant service experiences on Oct 29th. If you like Ten Ren, go to another location and skip this one.

Great location, post pandemic, this location is quiet. The Puu Lee tea white noodles in soup with beef, tasty, but the soup is lukewarm. Server is polite but lacking experience. She did not offer different type of tea base for my taro milk tea. I am shocked that lunch at this place cost 26 dollars for 1drink + noodles for 1 person. They used to offer package meal with tea. Clean place with subway accessibility. No music in this place, management please note. WIFI is free.

Great bubble tea place with Taiwanese fast food meals. Good Taiwanese vibes and relaxing. Highly recommend this classic location for 20 years.

We ordered waffles for a birthday reward and the daily lunch special which came with a drink! Tasted good and presented well!

I love Ten Ren’s bubble tea. The taste is overall just better than places like Coco or Chatime. Additionally, they have quite an extensive menu of offerings for drinks which is nice. My personal favorite option is the Coconut Milk Tea, which is an offering not given by the competitors (a plus in my book). My only gripe with this particular location is the customer service. It isn’t bad per se, but the location is on the smaller side and there’s never enough employees to facilitate faster service. That being said, staff is friendly.

Very delicious tan tan noodles, great discount on drinks if you order any food. We liked both the food and the drinks!

Always a good spot for authentic Taiwanese Food! Bubble tea is a hit or Miss sometimes but the excellent food makes up for it!
