I came here just to try their new soft serve, and was definitely surprised. I got their chocolate and earl grey twist on a bubble waffle. The bubble waffle was crunchy, and the soft serve flavours were subtle but complemented the waffle well. It was kinda pricey for this, around $11, but worth it to try it atleast once.

February 27, 2022 around 6:00pm-6:15pm we order 4 drinks in this location and 1 of the drink is taro smoothie for my 2yrs old daughter and she consumed 1/4 of it when I noticed she is chewing something and found out there are broken plastics like crystals in it. My husband went to the store and show it to them and they don’t know what to do they are not even sorry for what happen. The staff don’t even care what will happen even the manager didn’t even ask for the name and phone number to follow-up with us. This is a serious matter because that broken pieces in the drink can harm the person’s health. They say just send an email to the head office. We are asking for the copy of incident report and said they don’t know to how make it but my husband will not leave the store unless they will give us a copy and the sample of that plastic in the smoothie.

Some people had terrible experience here but my experience was good. The lady was patient with me when I was asking questions about their tea. The other lady who handed my drink was polite and nice too. The drinks were good too, no issues.

I used to go here whenever I gathered my friends because its location is convenient for us. But today I decided not to go here again. My friends and I ordered bbt through the self checkout machine, and I saw the picture of a Brown Sugar Milk Foam Milk Tea and it has tapioca pearls in the picture. However, what I got was no pearls in it. I asked the staff and they said I have to add it separately. Well, it would have been better if there was a clear sentence “please add toppings/pearls - no toppings inside” or even the picture has to show that it has no pearls in it at least. Moreover, obviously I wasn’t satisfied with the drink, and was expecting they would clearly explain to me. They did not. They were saying the name shows that no pearls. That’s all they can say. At the end of the conversation with the staff, I ended up paying $0.9 for that. OK. Sure. That’s only what they can do. Let me add one more thing. The door is always slightly opened, making noise and they never fix.

4:35pm Sept 16. The quality consistency is not here. At this time I got a taro milk, tea with tapioca, and the tapioca was already starting to taste stale. They had 0 pounds and chewiness, it’s hard to stick to your teeth. The inside started to get hard already and I don’t know if it was because I ordered regular ice where they put extra ice and it tasted like, the middle is hard as if I kept it overnight in the fridge. Service was great, though!

I’m not a huge fan of matcha BUT this gongcha matcha soft serve might be the game changer for me 🤤 the combo of matcha and milk foam was so perfectly balanced w the red bean and sugar cone pairing 😋

The drinks were pretty good and the crème brûlée croffle was really delicious and flavourful. The only thing was that they initially forgot to make our croffle but besides that the food/drinks were great!

Mango smoothie was the heaven! I love it!!! They just need to Add one more cash register to stop making people to wait for long time in the line to place their order!!

It was ok. I usually get peach green tea. For whatever reason i didn't like this one as much as other bubble tea places. Service was good though and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Enjoyed the brown sugar oolong milk tea with 50% sugar and 30% ice. It was easy to order and I waited less than 5 minutes for my drink. Drink was yummy and I would order it again, with less sugar. There’s a small seating area. Washroom is available on the lower level and the stairs are steep. The door of the entrance is a little sticky so you may need to pull really hard and it may sound like you broke the door.

Theur tapioca is not the brown sugar type which is more traditional. I actually like the original tapioca more than brown sugar tapioca. I LOVE their pure black tea, very dense. It suits me as a tea lover. Nowhere else (bubble tea shops) can beat their black tea. Their QQ peach green tea is also good. They used to have strawberry black tea for a limited time. I wish they could add it back to their regular menu.

Visited on a Sunday evening and it was pretty quiet, more staff than customers. The off peak time meant I got the the new recruit on the checkout. It was all good fun as he figured out what to do and he did a good job. There's wasn't too much of a wait for a Lychee flavoured smoothie and I was very pleased with the offering. It was cold and did taste exactly like Lychees. The prices were reasonable and the place looked pretty well maintained. I noticed there was wifi too.

After having two back to back meals, ended off the night with bubble tea from here 👀 -[LARGE COFFEE MILK TEA W/COFFEE JELLY] $6.60 ☕ this was a perfect drink for me because I had to head to work after this 🧋 I ordered it with 30% sugar, and lite ice - could probay go for 0% sugar easily next time ☕ also, coffee jelly is officially my one, and only topping that I will seek out from here on out because the flavor, and texture of it elevated the drink to new heights for me The person who took my order was also a kind person because despite a really dumb question I asked re: the menu, she answered in a really sincere tone 😅 I won't repeat the question I asked as everything lives on the internet forever but koodos on the service here

My partner prefers gong cha over other bubble tea spots. This place is as good as any other location I’ve been to, my only issue is to not get the tapioca as it seemed a little hard. I did come on a slow day so maybe the tapioca would taste better on busier days.

The door is broken at the Gonga Cha location and it is blasting cold air into the entire store. The staff are walking by the door but will not take the effort to close it. This is very insensitive to customers and it is very cold and unpleasant inside the store. I would not recommend this store as they are inattentive to the condition of the store and do not think about customer experience.

Like other locations, it's just as good. I'd rate this as the best "bubble tea" chain in Toronto. Their slushies are really good as well. Definitely a go-to of mine. Highly recommended!

Among the many different bbt shops in the area, I find this place to offer middle of the line bbt options and drinks for middle of the line prices. Good option if you have discounts or reward points, so be sure to use your phone number when ordering for rewards.

Love this location, the drinks always taste good and never put too much ice when I ask for regular ice unlike *cough* york uni location. They also have really good softserve for a good price and a filling amount. The earl grey flavour is a must try and get a peach green tea while you are at it. Top tier combo.

I absolutely loveeeee their bubble teas! I’m super picky and my go to flavour is honeydew with tapioca! And this place is by far my favorite place to get it! ALL of their locations are good, not just this one! They are super quick and efficient! Excellent service! My 3 year old son loves it too!

Ask for John every time, he’s a great person and very knowledgeable with the menu. Great place, clean, and very aesthetic. Great place to hang out and study.
