Surprisingly
good
Japanese
(I
would
not
consider
it
a
true
izakaya,
as
there
are
no
skewers).
We
had
randomly
chosen
this
place
as
it
had
space
at
the
time
we
wanted
to
eat,
and
it
was
a
good
choice!
Lots
of
variety
and
I
can't
say
a
single
dish
we
chose
was
bad.
They
were
all
seasoned
and
cooked
well,
not
too
strong
on
any
one
flavour
or
spice.
Normally,
I
find
mackerel
too
fishy,
but
this
was
spot
on.
Really
pleasant
to
eat.
Loved
the
salmon,
which
is
also
not
something
I
usually
say
at
Japanese
restaurants.
Tako
wasabi
was
good
too.
The
tartare
was
a
weak
spot.
Cocktails
are
pretty
weak,
but
there
is
a
good
sake
list
with
decent
prices.
Really
helpful
guides
on
choosing
the
right
sake.
Service
was
efficient
and
fast,
and
we
were
never
left
searching
or
waiting.
I'm
surprised
it
wasn't
busier
because
it
actually
was
the
best
place
we
visited
in
the
area.
