It is a good store . Staff are helpful and cooperative . The only negative thing is the high prices. The bakery is really good and fish department . It is spacious and have the majority of the things that needed for shopping. But I still can justify some items prices which are far higher than many other similar stores They need to work on this matter or make some loyalist program and more promotions It may help . The marketing strategy has a space for improvement I think they need to go green and switch also off the signage light at night . It is 24/7

I was really disappointed this time shopping at Loblaws. They just didn't seem to have much stock in their produce section. The available items they had also seemed quite old. Also, they have a cashier named Mary. She is horribly rude. I merely asked a question concerning the return policy at Loblaws and was spoken to very rudely by her. She has some nerve.

Visited today to get groceries; swung by the bakery display to see the display case again 😀. The Chinese New Year theme was on display. There is always a theme going on around every three to four months in this bakery display case (front row centre 😃). This is the 5th time I have documented the talent of the lady who works here. I am updating my review here as I wanted to showcase the latest talent in the bakery section. A talented lady did this. I did not catch her name the last time I spoke to her but I took photos of her creation while grocery shopping.🤩

Linda, aka “Salad Queen” on her name tag, was extremely rude when we wanted to inform her that a bag of Vickie’s chips on the shelf was expired on June 6 (on the evening of June 9). As she walked down the aisle and came near us, we tried to get her attention by saying ,”Hey, excuse me,” and while waving in a friendly manner. She immediately became belligerent, said that we should have said “Excuse me…” (which we clearly did), and that she was also a human being (again, we were friendly and all we wanted was to let her know about a bag of expired chips). It went on to a point where she was screaming at us, and we told her that we have her name and to leave us alone. There were other customers who witnessed this incident. We complained to management, and Kevin the manager on duty that evening, spoke with us and said we would have to contact the store manager when he/she is back. While talking with the manager on duty, Linda approached us again, stood extremely close to us in a threatening manner, and specifically asked management to get our names and phone numbers. Based on the largely unhelpful and cold reaction from the manager on duty (who didn’t really want to learn about what happened) and what he disclosed to us in our conversation, we think Linda went to the back to report this as an incident before we had a chance to make our complaint about her. Extremely poor customer service at this store! Hope no one else gets yelled at by their store employees!

Overall, this is a very good Loblaws. The location is very convenient if you live in the area or take the subway. There is dedicated parking but you need to spend a minimum amount on groceries to get your parking validated for free. The store is a good size with a variety of departments. In addition to the typical grocery store areas, there is a sushi station, salad, hot food, and olive bars. There is also a small Tim Hortons kiosk by the entryway, as well as a florist downstairs near the parking lot. On Saturdays, there are usually a variety of food sample stations set up. Also, there is an in store nutritionist that you can book an appointment with. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star location is that I have been to a few other more impressive Loblaws around the city.

Great place. Parking asked for a shopping bill of +$20, but I didn't need to shop that much. They didn't charge me but said that's the rule! Produce quality was good, but lately, it became average.

Over priced items with low variety of products worth buying. One particular self check out employee was very negative and did not help at all at the self - check out. I would rather buy food in the Shoppers Drug Mart across from them. I have had to put up with attitude from employees there. Food basics down the street is much better in stock and pricing.

Fast self check out, good selection of organic necessities, nuts and other dry foods, cleaning items, personal products, green salads and a more limited fruit and vegetable section, but slowly expanding. Like popping in and picking up last minute groceries, they keep great hours which is an appreciated convenience. Located next to North York subway and accessible from the underground path, this is too awesome especially in the winter and heavy rain days. It took me some time to get into the rhythm of this fast moving place. Folks are typically in and out, on their way to work or going home and picking up a Tim Hortons coffee (always a lineup, hugely popular), breakfast or lunch and/ or meal plan for the evening. I finally got into the rhythm and found that I absolutely enjoy going in getting what I need and going on my way. They have great deals every week and a good wine selection for added convenience. This is a one stop place for most of one’s needs. Good selection of more natural and organic options in their packaged foods, house cleaning and skin care. I like to pick up my organic cashews, walnuts and almonds here and last minute natural cleaning supplies. Their prices are competitive if not better. I typically use the self check out, it’s convenient and the staff assigned have always been courteous and helpful. Happy to have Loblaws close by with great hours. Appreciate it. President’s Choice bank cubicle on site. Life is Good! :)

Found hair stuck in the cauliflower. Very unsanitary. Expired items are still on the shelves. Very disorganized. Employees at the self checkout are unhappy to help and the tone of voice is often harsh and rude. Very poor interpersonal skills. Customer service at this location is terrible.

The lady at the self check out accused me of trying to steal 4.5 dollars! Without a moment's consideration that I might have been confused, while entering the discounts! Loblaws has two discount systems in the self check out. This has started since they installed the new LED labels and the discounts are entered automatically when you scan such an item. I entered the first item, which needed manual input of 50 percent, then scanned 3 frozen pizzas (!) Which I didn't know would not need a discount input. After she came over, she stared at me and said "there are cameras here recording you". Well they no longer will, because I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

thank you for your message, and here is more detail for your attention: Comparing to other Lablaws stores that I’ve been to, I’ve noticed this one run out of products quickly or doesn’t have enough supply on some items such as Astro yogurt (and why is your price for this yogurt double places like No Frills or Walmart?!!) some other items as well that I can recall right now. Bread prices have been too high as well. I’d rather buy bread from Whole Foods as It’s cheaper and a better quality! Cleanliness has got much better for the past couple of months, but it still can be improved. The biggest disappointment I had this year (2023) was buying meat that was clearly covered with some sort of red paint, and as soon as I washed the meet, the paint just washed off the meat and the true color of meat appeared. I had bought several of the meet at that time and every single one was the same and on top of that I got stomach problems after eating two of those one week apart, and I had to throw the rest away! I was very disappointed and decided not to buy meat from Lowballs again! You need to think of something about the shopping bags as well. I usually shop on my way home and most of the time I don’t have any bags on me! I have to purchase bags for $.38 each! My house is filled with these bags. Maybe introducing paper bags like Whole Foods does would be better for customers environment, as I see a lot of your bags in the garbage around the neighborhood it’s just a waste of money and material! On the plus side, the staff at the cash are nice and pleasant and try to help as much as they can. There’s also an old gentleman who refills the shelves, he is very polite and helpful person, although he doesn’t smile, which is ok! 🙂

My visit to Loblaws was satisfactory. The store layout was convenient and I found what I needed easily. The staff was helpful and the checkout process was efficient. Prices were fair for the quality of products. Overall, a decent shopping experience.

The staff and service exceptionally good I've never had any issues with their service ever. but the buffet is absurdly expensive where they make you pay the same price as non-vegetarian for vegetarian food also it's the same rate and that I find it's unfair. their soups are the most amazing thing ever but for a self-service open hot Buffet $25 per kg is extremely expensive maybe not for the meat items but for the vegetarian for sure ricealso I find their soups are great but there's no place to eat it there's no microwave also if you buy any Breads and it gets cold then you can't eat it really but cleanliness and service is on to par although their prices are a little bit more expensive than most places I find they should charge a different rate for vegetarian hot Buffet items. Be ready to pay for overpriced baby items for sure those never go on sale. Dairy and other departments have good fresh and ready to go snack foods to go very good variety overall. My favorite loblaws is the Lakeshore front where they do have a microwave a full Bakery a coffee section where things have an expiry date and a fresh date by which they will just mark it down on sale and for all other things that you buy there like pizza you can heat it up right away after buying it anytime even if you're coming from work and there's place to sit over there after you eat buying your food and eating there

Lousy customer service, the lady working at the customer service counter was unfriendly, snappy and no knowledge of the promotion offered (it was Monday Nov 13/ 3 pm ish) "I don't know, same thing happened with other customer" and "gift cards sales are final" were the explanations given why I didn't get my points And I wasn't even asking for a refund, had to ask to speak to a manager and thankfully the nice manager helped me with the situation Loblaws should retrain these kind of rude and arrogant employees

What a joke, just as I am considering switching to shop from metro to this loblaws location because it was promised to be cheaper, it was proved to me this is NOT WORTH IT. 1. Compared the price, it was NOT cheaper. 2. Pre-cut quarter size watermelon was dry and tasted not fresh. 3. This grossed me out the most - mini cucumbers I got had unknown things in it, can’t even tell it was supposed to be alive or dead, a material of some sort of a living thing. Never had any food quality issue from a supermarket like this. Ugh. 4. Only shopped there occasionally (because the hot food here are indeed really good but also expensive) but mind you included my last visit which made me leave this review, every single time I have stopped by here, there are horrendous line ups for both self check outs and regular check outs, multiple times I get out of subway thinking of grabbing sth to go for the convenient location and saw the line, left immediately.

First of all, after reading the bad reviews, I’m not the only one had this experience! There is Middle Aged Eastern European woman who works at self checkout, she is racist to Asians! I had bad experience with her couple years ago, today my mom needed help at self checkout, she intentionally avoiding her, she left my mom in the middle of the conversation, pretend she was busy with something else, and never came back to help her. Because of her action, someone stole $40 worth of optimum pts from us, their manager did made it up for it later, but it could all be avoided in the first place. When I raised this issue to the floor manager, she kept making excuses for her , now I understand why she acted this way and never properly trained. Btw. Just had chat with my friend who is also Asian and also shops here, she also had unpleasant experiences with this woman! Avoid her if you are Asians

Shopping baskets are a commodity at this location and almost never found, big kudos to this store for achieving this undisputed title. Many on sale unperishable items are almost never on display to buy, must I say great job? place certain restrictions and fill in the item slot more frequently? management certainly need to be proud and blame all this on other entities as always. Last but not the least: shame on you

Beautiful store but HORRIBLE SERVICE holy. The hot table is severely understaffed, you will stand here waiting 40+ minutes just for someone to serve you while there are multiple people behind the counter walking around doing nothing. Have wasted my entire lunch period here many times trying to get something to eat. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

I like shopping at this store sometimes. The Chicken Leg smells so bad after I brought it on Thursday. The meat between Chicken Wings, Chicken Leg, Whole Chicken doesn't stay out long. The people at the cashier is busy on a Thursday. That is it. This store likes to sell expired meat.

Don't go in if you only want a couple of things! ;) Insanely great selection and reasonably good prices. Good quality produce and meat. Very accessible (power wheelchair user here). I used the self checkout - my choice - but had several staff check on me periodically and any time I had an issue there was someone right there in less than 30 seconds. Cheerful, helpful staff. Well laid out store.

I was at this location and right after I got to the office I realized there might be an item I am allergic to from the hot soup I got. No one picked for 5min and out of desperation I pressed a number & got transferred to the bakery department. The lady was a bit irritated why I called her dept. She was brisk and said I don’t know how to transfer and hung up. My 5min down the drain. Had to dump the soup and forgo my lunch. I have crackers in my drawer. That’s lunch today. :( Loblaws, get you act together. I had worked at Loblaws cashier/customer svc in the 90s & in my student years, we were excellent back then!

Very clean, friendly staff, huge selection of produce. A bit pricy, so they get a 4 star. The store is located on the bottom floor of the mall which would normally annoy me but i love love going down the escalator and seeing all the beautiful colours of the fresh fruits and veggies so i get inspired to cook healthy. Because of that they get a 5 star rating from me.

Loblaws should be embarrassed 😞. This used to be one ☝🏼 of the best groceries store, now it’s one ☝🏼 of the worst. The place has no staff, shelves are empty, it’s so dirty. Customer service doesn’t exist whatsoever. I hardly go here anymore. I rather go to Longos or Metro in the area. It’s 💯 times better. Saturday July 30th, 2022 was my last time going here. I went at 8am because I hate line ups. The store was just a disaster, no staff whatsoever. There was dirty water dripping from ceiling pipes all over the food in the meat section. I go to pay for my groceries and only one cashier. There was 5 customers ahead of me with carts 🛒 full of groceries. Only one other person in charge of the self checkout. I asked her is there any other cashiers, she told me no. She told me to use the self checkout. I had about 30 times. Items with 50% off stickers, vegetables 🥦 that need the code. I was so upset 😤 I told her this a the long weekend on a Saturday and this is the service you provide, this is just pathetic. The employee’s respond was cutbacks. I told her if I wanted to work cashiering I would just apply. This is pathetic that I have to scan my items. I told the employee you should just give me a shirt 👕 and a name tag 🏷 since I’m doing all the work. The employee didn’t care at all about my frustration and disappointment 😔 I told her that I will be going to Longos and Metro from now on. Today I found out on the news that Loblaws the biggest grocery chain in Canada just had a record sales and profits 🤷🏻‍♂️ And this is the service they provide 🤦🏻‍♂️ It’s just pathetic and they just keep raising their prices 🤬

Chris in meat section gave a 5star customer service to me. I was tired back work and just trying to catch fish for dinner and leave. But he just gave me positive vibes that I asked his name to write a review here to say thank you Lablaws for hiring such qualified employees. Stay positive and high quality.

Generally a pretty okay grocery. Certain items will go out of stock and you won't be able to get then for lord only knows how long. Prices have been rising very quickly with that fact not changing and there are times when there is a lot of empty shelves in various aisles. I do like how the carts are free but they've been disappearing a lot lately.

Regular customer here. Very less Indian groceries like sonamasuri rice, Indian vegetables, ashervad atta, Indian spices etc. Seafood items are available but didn't look fresh. Fruits, bakery items are good.

Love this store, very convenient. BUT please take this as a complain about the cashier MAI. The Iranian woman with mid length black hair. She really provided an unprofessional and unfriendly customer service!!! Firstly, MAI was trying to make me buy the stuff that I already paid, and the stuff are not from Loblaws. After I explained to her, she rolled her eyes on me!!! I was very surprised!!! Because this just a easy misunderstanding. Then I just thought maybe she had a bad day or something? But on my way out, I met her at the escalator again, she just walk in front of me and gave me a weird look. I did thought I was stalked. Because To be a cashier facing the public, Mai's behaviour had crossed the line, and made me feel unsafe to shop at Loblaws. I'm not intended to give anyone a hard time, and WE DO NOT DESERVE THIS!! Last but not least, she was not wearing any mask during the pandemic. I have been living in this area for more than 10yrs, this is loblaws has always been my go to store. I just rate one additional star for the past. However, It's time to find somewhere else to avoid further drama and truama.

The Deli and HMR team are amazing! Celeste and Paulette go above and beyond to make sure everyone works as a team and they are always so helpful and friendly when I need something. Sarita is so friendly and courteous and even though she's not there anymore, Vicki was such a breath of fresh air! Thank you ladies for making my shopping experience enjoyable each and every time!

I have been doing my grocery shopping here since COVID and a little before that. This is a great brand that sells quality products for a good price. The store is quite large and has all your essentials needs for kitchen/household/gift cards etc.

  • 4/5 Michael C. 1 year ago on Google
Very good store. All of their products are in stock and not too overly priced. Produce is fine. The ready made foods are pretty good. Only complaint is the cashier system they have their, but having instant access to TTC makes up for it.

This is my regular spot to shop for my groceries and veggies. They have a good variety of fresh and frozen veggies. The groceries section has a good collection of quality Indian stuff at an affordable prices which make me very happy. There’s a good collection of organic items as well and several options to pick from even for household utility items. Their sections are well organised and store is always clean. I like shopping here as I end up getting everything I need from here and it’s quite affordable.

The customer service at this branch, particularly the ladies, has been disappointing! (Specially the lady with glasses) Loblaws should prioritize more considerate hiring for their customer service department, as it plays a crucial role as the face of the business. I've decided not to shop at Loblaws anymore to avoid further encounters.

I like the LOBLAWS supermarket on the ground floor. I go several times a week, always fresh vegetables and fruits. Like rows with ready -made food, chicken, baking, garnishes. I also follow new stocks Prices are very pleasant. There is a subway entrance nearby. I will walk yet, the most beloved shop
