Tourist attraction Park

👍 Fun and quiet hidden piece of nature just underneath the Sheppard bridge before Bathurst. Follows all the way to Earl Bales Park, enough room to make a full day of it. 4 stars since the people don't seem to be as friendly here as other parks in the area. People often mention trail, area, trees, park,

I recently visited the Hinder property, and I must say, it's a beautiful place with lots of potential. The landscape is stunning, and the surroundings are serene. However, what caught my attention and raised some safety concerns was the significant number of fallen trees on the property. It's crucial to understand why these trees have fallen and whether any specific measures are being taken to address this issue. Fallen trees can pose risks to visitors and property alike. I hope the authorities will investigate the reasons behind the fallen trees and take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of visitors and preserve the natural beauty of the area. Overall, it's a lovely location, and I hope that addressing the fallen trees will be a top priority

Really nice area, light traffic. Mostly used as a bike trail so if you're walking make sure to keep that in mind. The offtrail section is easy but nice to look around at.

First time at Hinder property trail. Soo beautiful in the fall. I couldn’t stop taking pictures. The colours were breathtaking.

This little piece of greenery tucked away in the urban landscape of Toronto is something that provides a refreshing breath of air, away from the city vibes. Short single track trails are present within the shrubbery and provide a great experience for both people who want to take a small hike and moutainbikers.

This is a nice park to walk in. There are some parts of it that have paved paths and some the are dirt paths (and can get a bit muddy after rainstorms).

Classic ravine hike. Well worn trails through trees or paved path for cycling. No easy path along the river or up the ravine. No notable features or easy parking. Underused.

Short and sweet trail for a 30-45 min walk. Great on and off paved trail. Quick nature escape in the Bathurst and Sheppard area :)

A simple, very natural wooded park, with an easy/flat main path and side paths to explore or bike on. South entrance in the valley near the east/downhill end of Earl Bales park ski hill; north entrance from parking lot off Bathurst. There is a side trail to the northwest corner of the York Cemetery, and also a picnic area at the south end of the park.

Lovely little wooded area for hiking. This is a ravine so be prepared for narrow paths, steep hills, and make-shift bridges.

Beautiful trail! Just keep in mind there's a bit of a walk uphill going back. (If you're taking it first downhill.)
