A
friend
and
I
wanted
to
try
a
place
that
was
mid
way
between
us.
Him
being
in
Scarborough
and
myself
being
in
West
end.
We
both
love
Pho,
so
we
settle
on
something
around
Yonge/401.
Most
of
the
restaurants
seemed
to
close
early,
but
to
our
luck,
Angus
Pho
House
was
open
until
10:30
on
this
evening.
We
met
at
the
restaurant
around
8:45
and
there
was
only
a
single
couple
eating,
we
took
a
few
minutes
with
our
menu,
which
was
simple
and
concise,
which
I
prefer.
We
both
chose
the
Large
House
special,
me
minus
the
beef
balls.
My
friend
had
a
fresh
lime
juice
with
his
meal.
The
pho
came
out
quickly
which
is
great.
We
were
only
given
1
napkin
each,
which
seems
strange
for
a
Pho
place,
we
also
didn't
ask
for
extra.
There
was
a
water
jug
on
the
table
for
us,
I
guess
you
have
to
order
hot
tea,
but
we
didn't
end
up
asking,
nor
did
they
offer
while
I
was
there.
The
restaurant
was
cute
with
a
mural
on
the
wall
I
was
facing,
everything
looked
a
bit
aged,
but
with
the
pandemic
it's
to
be
expected
a
bit.
When
our
Pho
arrived,
we
were
both
shocked
at
the
size
of
Large,
this
was
one
of
the
largest
Pho
bowls
I
have
had
in
a
while
...
I
was
a
bit
underwhelmed
by
the
amount
of
meat,
and
the
meat
in
general,
especially
based
on
the
name,
and
this
was
their
house
pho
dish.
It
was
tasty,
I
enjoyed
the
bowl
and
finished
90%+
of
the
soup
and
everything
in
it.
We
sat
for
a
bit
had
had
a
catch
up
conversation
and
this
was
really
where
my
only
minor
issue
came
up
...
There
were
3-5
fruit
flies
that
we
could
not
get
rid
of
...
Hovering
our
table,
landing
on
our
glasses
and
bowls.
It
wasn't
so
bad
during
the
meal,
there
was
1
kind
nuisance
fruit
fly
that
wasn't
a
both,
but
for
some
reason
after
the
meal
there
were
a
few
that
were
annoyingly
resilient,
but
not
the
worst
thing
in
the
world.
Overall,
I
would
go
back
to
Angus
Pho
House
and
give
another
dish
a
try,
maybe
order
some
springrolls
on
the
side
as
well
this
time.
