Very nice Pho with reasonable price! My boyfriend’s regular spot. Tried the lobster noodle today. It was delicious!

How is the food? I think in terms of the flavour of the soup and the aroma of the dish, the restaurant is heading towards the correct direction. However, still not flavourful enough. The beef quality here is pretty good though, so that’s plus. I think they need to work on their veggies and sauce better. different soup base should have slightly different veggies to go with it like bun bo hue they should at least have supplied some cabbage. and they should have fish sauce on the table and more choices of pepper. How is the service? the service is good, nothing too fancy just normal and calm. Would I recommend? Yes, although we only tried their Bun Bo Hue, but we would definitely come back to try more of their menu, and if you are in the area and Vietnamese noodle is what you want, give them a try.

I went to this place based on Reviews. As you can see I love reviews and always write them.. tbh I saw that Angus Pho House was rated 4 stars. I tried it out and to be honest I was not impressed. First, the condiments like Baisl, Lime, and bamboo shoots were very little and there was no soy sauce or other condiments on the table that was very upsetting. Furthermore, the soup had zero veggies and was blan (no taste) even tho I ordered a spicy soup. The water jug they brought to our table was disgusting. Very dirty and undrinkable. I rate this place one Star. They need to make some serious changes here.

Very kind and attentive staff. The pho had a good amount of meat and the sprouts and basil were fresh. Broth was full-bodied but not murky, so it had great flavour. When I asked for hot peppers I was privided with a nice bowl of fresh chopped chilis. highly recommend.

Pretty hot lunch deal here!!! Lunch specials are $9.99 including a drink. Where else can you find a dine-in meal at this price in the area? It's unheard of. Lunch special choice of: House Special Pho, Lemon Grass Chicken & Pork chop w/ rice, Curry Chicken w/ rice, Spring Roll & Grilled Pork vermicelli, or Hai Nam Chicken rice. Drink: Soya milk, lemon tea, or pop. Personally I think the best value here is the Hai Nam Chicken rice (shown in photo). The deal is only on during lunch from 11am to 3pm though.

Went first time end of Nov. 2021 for dinner with a friend. Service was good, as well the food. I ordered Pho Noodles. Price was lower compared to other Pho places I have visited. My friend ordered the chicken dish. It was a good size/portion.

3.5 recently tried this place. The amount of meat and noodles they give is just amazing. The broth is flavorful too. However sometimes the noodle is a bit over cooked and it would better if they gave more broth because there is just too much noodles :). Very affordable and worth it.

One of my favourite places to eat on yonge street. VERY FAST SERVICE. The food portions are extremely good especially for the price ($13-$15) while still tasting great.

If you like Al dente noodles, this is the spot for you! Me and my partner ordered two bowls of pho and two drinks. The pho noodles were hard as a rock. The avocado milk shake had no taste and the texture was like a slush from the convenience store. The bean drink with the coconut milk tasted bitter. The cherry on top was when the worker came to me and tried to justify that the bitter coconut milk is how it is supposed to taste. He let us know that there is nothing wrong with the ingredients. If you’re looking for a surprise for your taste buds (in a negative way) try it out! Also, they only offer tap water and NO tea. You are also not allowed to bring outside drinks.

Visited for a late lunch. It appears that this place is family owned and run. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Helped in ordering some wonderful dishes. Tables are spread out so you get a little bit of privacy. The food was really good with large portions. Would visit again for a lunch or dinner.

I went and got the Pho House Special It was ok. Nothing special. For $15.95 I expected more meat and was overall underwhelmed. The photo shows all the meat I got in a Large.

I recently visited Angus Pho House and had an amazing experience! The first thing that stood out to me was how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. I ordered their beef rice noodle soup (rare) and I have to say, the broth was absolutely delicious. It was savory and full of flavor, and the meat was of great quality. I've ordered this dish multiple times and I've never been disappointed. The workers at Angus Pho House were extremely friendly and helpful as well. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout my entire dining experience. In terms of portion size, I was pleasantly surprised at how substantial it was. I definitely got my money's worth!

look at how large the large size is. It was fast, delicious, and quite environment. Tons of meat they give it to you. Go try it out!

A very decent place to eat. Everything was above average, and I would definitely consider going back to try other things on their menu (I had the spicy beef noodle soup). Only thing holding this back from a 5 star is their noodles being and bit too overcooked, and the broth is a bit fattier than I prefer. This could just be personal preference though, so go try it yourself!

No-frills southeast Asian restaurant. The food came extremely quickly and the pad Thai was tasty and had a huge portion. However, it is quite pricey...Cost around the same or even more than some more upscale, sit-down restaurants. Still, a decent place for a quick meal.

First time at Angus Pho and glad that I was introduced by a friend who is a no.1 Fan of Angus Pho. Food and service from Mr.Chester is great. Try it! You will love it 😋.

Yummy and delicious 🤤 definitely recommend this place for their flavour! We tried a variety of options. Definitely recommend almost everything from their pho menu and especially their green, Thai iced tea. Never have I ever had a Thai iced tea that wasn’t overly sweet but this place delivered with just amazing and natural taste.

One of the only pho restaurants in the area, I think Angus Pho House does a lot of things well, but nothing particularly amazing. They have a really large menu and serve a variety of things which is great, and it will always hit the spot if you're craving either some hot noodle soup, or some curry roti. Also a little bit on the expensive side for a bowl of noodles, but I guess pretty on par with the surrounding area.

Wonderful little Pho spot on the main strip. Delicious authentic tasting food with a quant and cozy atmosphere. Definitely one of those places that is a hidden gem in the neighbourhood. Their food was simply amazing, service was good and attentive. I would highly recommend not having to choose between chicken or beef skewers, get them both! That peanut dipping sauce was superb.

Angus Pho House is one of my favorite comfort food spots. The staff (at night) are very friendly and nice. The food is always amazing and delicious. Must try the Plain Rice Noodle Soup and Thai Red Iced Tea and Avocado shake. Their Malaysian curries are also really good. The broth in their pho is so good.

Great food, very good portions. I have gone several times for dine in and out and have always been satisfied. The staff are attentive to our needs, for example my partner had an iced Vietnamese coffee that was a bit dark and before we left the waitress noticed and offered to top it up with more condensed milk. We appreciated this attention to detail.

A friend and I wanted to try a place that was mid way between us. Him being in Scarborough and myself being in West end. We both love Pho, so we settle on something around Yonge/401. Most of the restaurants seemed to close early, but to our luck, Angus Pho House was open until 10:30 on this evening. We met at the restaurant around 8:45 and there was only a single couple eating, we took a few minutes with our menu, which was simple and concise, which I prefer. We both chose the Large House special, me minus the beef balls. My friend had a fresh lime juice with his meal. The pho came out quickly which is great. We were only given 1 napkin each, which seems strange for a Pho place, we also didn't ask for extra. There was a water jug on the table for us, I guess you have to order hot tea, but we didn't end up asking, nor did they offer while I was there. The restaurant was cute with a mural on the wall I was facing, everything looked a bit aged, but with the pandemic it's to be expected a bit. When our Pho arrived, we were both shocked at the size of Large, this was one of the largest Pho bowls I have had in a while ... I was a bit underwhelmed by the amount of meat, and the meat in general, especially based on the name, and this was their house pho dish. It was tasty, I enjoyed the bowl and finished 90%+ of the soup and everything in it. We sat for a bit had had a catch up conversation and this was really where my only minor issue came up ... There were 3-5 fruit flies that we could not get rid of ... Hovering our table, landing on our glasses and bowls. It wasn't so bad during the meal, there was 1 kind nuisance fruit fly that wasn't a both, but for some reason after the meal there were a few that were annoyingly resilient, but not the worst thing in the world. Overall, I would go back to Angus Pho House and give another dish a try, maybe order some springrolls on the side as well this time.

It is just a typical Vietnam place with Pho, but the flavour is really good. I am surprised on the lobster bowl. Flavour is good, but except the lobster, there is nothing else inside. If there is other meat with it, then it will be perfect. I will for sure come back and try other food for sure.

Tried the rare beef noodle soup and tom yum seafood noodle soup. Both very tasty.

The portion size was large, and the price was fair. The pho soup base though was very bland and could use some favors and seasoning. The noodles were also overcooked. Service was alright and considering they had a full house, pretty quick.

Great food! I came here several times and every time it was good. The flavour, meat and noodles are really Yummy! Great customer service. They are very fast, good price and big portions. I order even take out from them and I thought it will be smaller portions since it is take out but they did not disappoint!

I ordered the following: Large pho, pad thai, fresh spring roll, fried spring roll. The pad thai needed more sauce and tasted like it was a ketchup based sauce (think not authentic). The flavour wasn't savory but the chicken pieces in the pad thai were delicious. The fresh spring rolls were tiny and were not filling for $5.99. Skip this one. The fried spring roll has a crispy breading that I've never seen in other restaurants. Although the portion is small, I'd order this one again. The pho was decent and not bad at $10.95 for a large bowl. I do wish they threw in more meat though. The food came out fast and seemed fresh. I'll definitely revisit to try other dishes.

Moved into the area a few months ago and didn’t know where to get pho but found this place. It was actually pretty good. My new place to go.

This is very cozy pho restaurant in a convenient area. I got the regular pho bowl and some BBQ chicken which came out to less than $20 after tax. Will definitely be coming back.
