Can’t get enough of this place! The chef was incredibly friendly and greeted us from behind the sushi bar as soon as we walked through the front door! Our server was outstanding and gave my girlfriend and I some amazing recommendations. The food was fresh and flavourful. Presentation was impeccable! The calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had! I can’t say enough about this place. I’ll certainly be back and definitely recommend this fine establishment to any food lover.

Got food take out or delivery every once in a while from sushi one. Food quality always good and very delicious. Good value for the price, offering 20% off if you pay cash. They also provide food delivery directly, much cheaper than ordering from uberEat. 👍🏻recommended！

They used to offer All You Can Eat sushi before COVID-19 and it was amazing, a bit pricey though. But now, they only offer a la carte. The waiting staff are very friendly and accommodating. We ordered different roles and sashimi and they were nice enough to decorate and serve it in a boat. We even got complimentary green tea ice cream.

I really like sushi of this place but had a bad experience ordering the food online. We ordered 4 separate dishes-Two veg and two non-veg. They packed everything together without mentioning which one is veg and which one is with sea food. When we called to talk about this the guy on the phone was extremely rude and unapologetic. Really disappointed with this kind of service!

every time we craved Japanese food, we would drive downtown almost for an hour. But this time we decided to explore our neighbourhood and hands down, we found the best Japanese restaurant in Toronto, Noodle, Rice, every single sushi we ordered came out amazing. we made it our mission to come here and try new things on their menu every week now because their menu is huge. the staff were amazing, polite and incredible for reconsideration. Definitely a must-try.

My husband and I went there for lunch and I had lunch special- Salmon lover. My husband had different rolls. It was 20% off from already reasonable price. I was surprised of the amount of sashimi I got. Service was amazing which made our experience even better. Definitely coming back and would recommend to my family. Only thing if I could mention is that, miso soup was little salty. But I added more water and it was perfect. :)

Have been dozens of times over the years... Always great. But yesterday they seemed to have shrunk the size of their sushi. $18 aburi sushi are way smaller now, and the maki rolls: they literally cut them in half to make it an "order of 8". See pic. If you notice this same behavior, call it out. Otherwise this will become the norm at Sushi One.

we ordered take out. for a small platter of sushi for two. The staff were very helpful in helping me choose the right one for my occasion. Once I received it, I was delightfully surprised by the sushi and sashimi. It was presented nicely and there were a lot of high quality slices. Ofcourse it was reflective of the price. However the Hamachi wasnt as fresh, and there was a bit too much sauce on the spicy salmon roll. Everything else was just amazing! It's one of the better options in my opinion with all the other sushi restaurants in the area.

Cute spot, rolls are really good and fresh. They have a large menu with many options and more than just sushi. Service was good after first but toward the end they forgot some items we ordered and didn’t come back to check on us. Prices are fair for what you get. I would definitely come back.

This restaurant was added to one of my options for eating sushi, I recommend it 100%, it was very fresh and delicious, the staff were very friendly and the amount of food was large.

We’ve been here several times now and starting to come twice a week even; that’s how happy and satisfied our family is every time. Sushi is fresh and beautifully presented. Service is outstanding regardless of which night and day or time, it is always consistent. Even when they are jammed packed still they are a step ahead so we never have to wait for service. It shows they care and we truly appreciate that. Warm and cozy ambiance suitable for all occasions. I love the background music they have on; a well mix and I love music aside from great tasting food and service. Despite it's generic sounding name, this place is a jem with an awesome kitchen! You absolutely have to try the Hamachi Kama (yellowtail neck). I keep coming back for this despite this place being really far out of way for me! Make sure to double check your bill, as mistakes do happen (pints sometimes turn into pitchers, or bills may be mixed with the next table), but you will not regret picking this place. I'll keep coming back!

Ordered the small party platter of sushi and the yellow tail neck and side of unagi sashimi. Over all the food was good. The yellow tail neck was very tasty but the server was super nice and attentive and was very professional and the patio was nice.

Came back here for dine in after months 😢 The staffs are so quick, friendly and helpful. They are so responsive and funny. Feel so comfortable eating here. We ordered small sashimi tray with 3 rolls: beef tataki, hako goldblack, and white dragon - all in one huge boat. I usually don’t get rolls at sushi restaurants but I love their special rolls. It’s not those basic rolls you usually see like California or so. It’s really “special” and each has their unique flavor. Love the way the chefs decorated our sashimi. It’s too pretty to eat. Baby’s Breath is my fav flower so I sometimes take these pretty flowers home 🤣 Served with miso soup and small simple salad as appetizer. All of these costs us ~$95 before tax and tip for 3 adults. Cheaper than AYCE but so mych better. Will try some noodles or soup next time. 👌🏻

Came here for dinner with friends and dined in. They also have a covered patio. I usually like to pick up their lunch specials here. We ordered a bunch of rolls to share, they were all good. Only odd thing was my friend asked for tea and they didn't have any. They were busy but service was good.

I ordered online via Uber Eats. The dish I ordered was a party tray. Both my husband and I got sick all night after eating it. I am a sushi lover, and never have I ever experienced something like this. I ordered because of the good reviews, but the food wasn't fresh at all, and the fish was not fresh. This was my first time, and definitely my last time.

Lunch in patio, nice environment and good service. Teriyaki beef was medium rare, could ask for well done if you prefer.

Personally, my favorite sushi a la carte restaurant in the gta. The rolls are fantastic and gigantic. The salmon holic is a must try for salmon lovers like myself. Everything here is of excellent quality

Everything was great. Sushi's taste was so good. Sashimi and shrimp dishes were fresh and tasty.

First time since we were in the neighborhood . Ordered 3 dragons, green, spicy, black and 1 spicy tuna. Did not try the tuna but my husband did not like it. My son complained about mayo on everything that made his stomach uncomfortable. I , however, fully enjoyed the experience, loved the black dragon and like the green dragon. The waitress was attentive and refilled our tea constantly. I will definitely visit it again but maybe not with my family

My friend and I wanted to have sushi, and because I have had it before from the same place. We went to Sushi one. I’m a vegetarian so it’s usually difficult to find good options for me but here I found a very good vegetarian sushi platter. I wanted to try the larger platter that had miso soup in it but since miso soup has fish seasoning on it, couldn’t try it. So the platter that we ordered, we liked it. Portion: good Taste: good The water in the glass was not so clean, so -1 star. Overall a nice place to have a sushi date with your friends.

I went to Sushi One with a friend who highly recommended it and it wasn’t disappointing at all. Good customer service, food came out fresh and delicious. I love sushi but picky where I eat it, so I highly recommend this place and I will be coming back for sure 🥰❤️.

Visited this place on New Year’s Eve to pick up an Online order. I had to wait for 15 mins. But it’s a good thing the waiter offered me a seat. The place is a little bit disorganized maybe because of Covid restrictions.
