🥇Exceptional experience of Vietnamese food and it was so delicious. 🥇A small bowl is more than enough for one person. 🥇U should add the spice named saute to the bowl and brownish sauce to each spoon of it 🥉u shouldn't try the bathroom which is located in the basement the way to it is so creepy and unclean 🥉 interior design is nothing specific

0-1 star for customer service, 3 for food quality and value Pho 88 (back when there used to be one at McCowan and Steeles - Alton Towers) was what introduced us to Vietnamese cuisine years ago. Pho especially during the cold months, yes please! But our experience at this Yonge St. spot was very disappointing at best. Somehow that day, the waitstaff made us wait at our table and just very strangely plain ignored us (even after waving at them a couple of times and they clearly seeing us but strangely just turning away --- and it was a slow day). One of those times I'm glad I reminded myself not to auto tip. I recommend Jasmine Garden Restaurant Pho Vuon Lai (Alton Towers) and Pho Pasteur Restaurant (Dundas and Spadina --- 24 hours!!). Both quality food, generous enough servings, value-priced, and as bonus, friendly enough staff. What matters to us.

Nice place to have a Vietnamese meal. We order pho, mango salad, beef fried rice, veggie rolls. The fried rice was really good, the beef was tender. The pho was not too flavored. The other dishes were good.

Fun way to make your own pho....grab whatever ingredients you'd like in your pho...pay by weight...and at cashier choose the broth and spice level...loads of options and huge serving size bowls...nice!!! A little more than we spend usually on pho...but cute way to try...lovely flavored broth... Maybe sweet sausage needed to be cooked before being added...but other than that great taste!!!

Went on a Thursday evening a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly quiet. However the food was great, the portion sizes were generous, and the staff were very accommodating. So definitely not a bad choice if you're looking for pho in this area. The dish pictured below was $16.

I picked up the small size. I paid almost 12 dollars. But an absurdly small amount came. They gave me the size of a child's palm. This is not worth it. This is not common sense. I am very dissatisfied. And when I called, they said yes. I will never go here again.

Food safety issue warning - ordered 2 pho via ubereats and the hot soup came in a styrofoam without vinyl packaging, so the styrofoam melted and got diluted into the soup. This poses major food safety issue and definitely needs food safety review. Consumers be aware

I was happy that I checked out Pho 88 again after not being here a while. The pho, special #01, is still a really big bowl. The clear hot broth had good flavour and was seasoned well and had good body. The noodles were generous in amount and cooked right. The toppings were all there and pretty much in the amount I remember from before although I seem to recall more tendon. Throw in what you want from the plate of bean sprouts, lime, basil leaves and green chili and you will definitely be filled for lunch. Price was fair for lunch in the area and the food comes out decently quick. Key staff are still the same (over years) and provide consistently good service. There is parking on the street and not too far away in a Green P and it is an easy walk from North York Centre subway station. Another great choice for an Asian lunch in the area.

The pho was delicious, flavourful and well balanced, not too salty. We had the special pho and fried rice . The meat was so tender, melted in your mouth. This place will probably be one of my go-to pho restaurants that I would highly recommend. The price and food matched. We hope to try more things on the menu as well next time. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. 😊 lastly , The discount for using cash was a nice incentive.☺️

A bowl of heartwarming warm pho is like comfort food😋 Simple and tasty, their special pho will definitely warm you up on a cold night and their portion size is very generous 👏🏻👍🏻 The barbeque pork was ok but the sauce served with it was perfect.

Order the pho special but really nothing so special about. The beef is too thinly sliced and the pho taste like beehoon. Not the thick type. Place is decent clean and run but friendly owner.

Had a Ubereats takeout and did not disappoint! Food was tasty and came in with big portion. My only concern is the styrofoam takeout containers.

Always consistent service and taste. Highly recommend the assorted rolls platter, in addition to the pho obviously!

Friendly and fast service. Nice packaging of the takeout and good portions for the sauces. Tried the omelette and rice for the first time and it wasn’t great. The grilled chicken and beef was good though!

The pho was pretty bad tbh. I will never return. The service was fine though. We were here on a Friday night and nearby restaurants were super full but we needed something quick because my daughter was hungry and tired. The broth was really really bland. It did not taste like hours and hours went in to making it. It tasted like instant pho soup. It was terrible

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food has always been good. We had the Spring Roll Platter, Shanghai Noodles and Thai Green Curry Chicken with Rice. The service was great and the food was prepared very quickly. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Odd experience eating here. We came in for lunch maybe around noon on a weekday and awaited to be seated. There were 2 people eating at the front I assumed were customers but after a few min one of them stood up with their mouth full of food gesturing for us to sit at the back of the restaurant. Kinda weird because I guess that was the server? I mean, I used to be a server at one point and understand people need lunch breaks, but typically we would cover each other and sit somewhere more discrete. But both servers were on break and at the front. Kinda weird because they maybe only opened about 30min prior and it's busy lunch time. Right off the bat-- I could tell this is a regular thing and how they treat their customers. The person who actually took our order and served us looked like he was the cook because he was wearing an apron. He was great! Memorized our order and served our food promptly! The food overall was delicious and good portion! When it came to pay, we couldn't find any one and just waited for a long time until we could wave someone down to pay. I would only go here if you're okay with bad customer service and just want viet food.

The first picture was taken on August 3, 2021 at the downtown toronto Bathurst location. I had the Sate pho broth multiple times in the past and this was what I got everytime. However, the second picture was the one that I received, with a very visibly different soup broth color, and did not taste like the classic sate broth that they made at all. I double confirmed with the waiter that this was indeed the sate broth that I ordered, so I was disappointed with either the change in recipe, or inconsistent food quality.

The food was not bad but one of the severe attitudes is very bad. I ask for the bill and he starts to annoyed with me. I saw the Uber driver come to pick me up, and he creamed at the Uber driver. What kind of service is it?

Fantastic place. Me and a friend got the Mango Salad, Pork Banh Mi and Avocado Milkshakes. It was all phenomenal, I would highly recommend it and I'll likely go back again.

Even though i had specific food request because i'm a picky eater, they did not ask questions and made my order exactly how i wanted. It was delicious and the staff accomodated our group of 10 very well.

The portions of the large pho was pretty big. Very good. The shrimp roll was also great. Good service and paying cash gets you 10% off.

Food is good. But they are closed most of the time. There's no opening hours sign or anything.

Food was decent, service was friendly. Located on a busy street with limited parking when its busy. Their spring rolls were quite good, I recommend you try them.

Good pho spot for a hot bowl of soup. Their spring rolls and fresh rolls are good as well for appetizer. Their food is pretty consistent.

I’ve been to this location numerous times either for takeout or dine in and every time the customer service is questionable. The food is great but the servers aren’t very nice.

Used to be better. Broth has less aromatics now. Sate broth is still the best in Toronto.

Special pho. Small size is enough for me. I highly recommend that you order spring rolls.

The food was just ok. We ordered large beef and rice noodles soup with shrimp fresh rolls and grilled chicken and beef rice entre. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious but the service was sub par. I love my pho but I will try another establishment next time.

Best pho I ever had in my life! And amazing with the sate, but maybe ask for the spice to be toned down if you can't handle too much spicy.

I usually come here for their sauté soup. It’s the best I’ve ever had.

Good pho to eat once a time. Need to provide more fresh herb.

For a chain restaurant, Pho 88 is actually pretty good. I have eaten here and have gotten take out a few times over the years but it has gotten to the point where the ever increasing cost of the food has become a problem. The last I've ordered from here was through Uber Eats and my bowl of Pho (a large) came with very little meat and to add the satay sauce to the soup to make it spicy costed an additional $4. Although small portioned, the food is good; the price not so much.
