Nice place to have some ramen. The takowasa is good and really spicy, more spice than in other restaurants. We ordered vegetarian ramen; it was good, but it had a lot of corn, so the ramen tasted too sweet. They did not have boiled eggs that day.

One of best ramen in Toronto. I ordered Jakarta black, it has Super rich broth, it almost taste creamy. pork is one of the best I have every tired, is so tender just melt in the mouth; egg is marinated to perfection. Noodle is cooked perfectly it is soft enough but still very chewy. Service is friendly and fast. Love the decoration - the window bench is like how ramen restaurant in japan, there are carton books you can read. 😍😍😍

Their lunch special is well priced, and includes a choice of one of two appetisers. There was something about the spice on the pork belly that was absolutely amazing! (Made me wish I had sought out an extra meat option). I added the $2 extra noodle option, and after thinking to myself that it wasn’t really a double portion a bowl of cooked noodles showed up just in time to refill my soup bowl 🍲

Great tonkotsu ramen can be found in this relatively small ramen shop in north york. Though not my favourite in the city, the ramen here is quite tasty. If you are a meat lover, definitely go for the chasiu lovers ramen, you won’t regret it! For more great eats, check out and follow me @instantonium on Instagram

I've frequented this place in the past and I'm not too sure why I don't come here more often. During this visit, we tried the red hot tonkotsu, black tonkotsu, chashu lover and some chicken kaarage appetizer. I love the fact that this place comes with wavy ramen. I find the portion sizes to be generous too as I struggled to finish a bowl (and I don't struggle in other ramen resto). I was very satisfied with our order and since we came before the rush hour, we didn't struggle to find seating despite the place being small in size. The server was quite attentive refilling our water without being asked. Our order came to be a bit more than $55. I'll definitely be back again.

My sister has walked by here many many times and the exterior just pops she say, she's never had the right moment to stop in to try so guess what I made her come with my wife and I to check it out. Just a random Tuesday night and we were in need of some good comfort food before the nasty weather hits and before a night at the comedy club. My sister suggested we check it out cause she loved how this little ramen shop just popped with light wooden exterior and interior surrounded by the concrete jungle of Toronto. When I first saw the name I was already like woah Street Fighter this place can't be bad if it's named after the game. The interior has a few paintings with Street fighter characters and Ryu throwing a shoryuken but instead of a flaming ball it was a bowl of ramen how cool is that? There are some specials for appetizers daily as well as a discounted pint of Sapporo when you order any appetizer. So we went and ordered 3 appetizers which was the tofu nuggets, takoyaki, and chicken nanban. The tofu nuggets you get about 7 or 8 pieces with a dipping sauce which is a sweet chilli mayo, the tofu was fried to a golden crisp and soft on the inside which I loved. The sweet chilli mayo was good kind of reminded me of almost like a sweet and sour sauce from McDonald's and the chilli part isn't spicy at all no need to worry. The takoyaki was about the same as any takoyaki I've had at any decent Japanese restaurant so it didn't blow me away but it wasn't bad, well made soft on the inside and a pinky nail size of tentacle. Wow my favorite had to have been the chicken nanban. The chicken was not a small piece I normally get this was probably half a drum each piece. The chicken was very crispy and juicy, their take on tartar sauce wow so good I even took a spoon full and ate it. Sorry it took so long to get to the noodles, thank you for reading if you guys are still with me. There are two types of noodles to choose from straight which is thin and more traditional or they have wavy a thicker chewyer noodle. My sister ordered the black tonkotsu ramen with the straight noodles and no extra toppings. The soup flavour I found was good flavourful and smelled yummy, you can really taste the black roasted garlic oil in the soup. My wife ordered the red hot tonkotsu wavy noodles with a side of marinated egg. This soup base a spicier than most ramen shops we've had and didn't taste like the powder spice that most ramen shops use. They serve you a spoon full of their homemade hot sauce left in the spoon and not mixed into your broth, they leave that part completely up you so however much you decide to swirl into the broth that's all you. Me being me I had to order the chashu lover which is basically the Hakata tonkotsu ramen but with 7 slices of that juicy succulent chashu lightly torched for the smokey flavour. The broth tastes damn good but the broth they serve is a slightly richer and thicker style, I'm not a huge fan of thick rich broth but none the less this is still a solid broth that's just personal preference. Oh yeah did I mention they had manga you can read while you wait for your friends or your food!

Great flavoured broth to go with the delicious ramen, which you have a choice of the typical straight ramen or the way chewier style. Everything was delicious and well cooked. Decent prices for the quality of food you get.

Omg. What can I say about this place. I think I found my new favorite place to have ramen. The broth is amazing. The quality the of pork meat (cha siu) is very good and fresh, it doesn't have that gamey taste that some places have. The karage and octopus balls were also very good. I would recommend this place as somewhere to go if you are craving ramen.

Excellent hakata style ramen. Soup is quite oiler than standard tonkotsu. Egg is well done and chashu simply melts in your mouth. However the karaage is absolutely amazing with a combination of mayo and a spicy sauce to choose from as well. Would highly recommend the karaage.

Our party ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu ramen, Black Tonkotsu ramen, Takoyaki and Karage Don. The ramen is delicious and the broth is not too salty. There is a choice of straight and wavy noodles. We all ordered the wavy noodles and it was perfectly cooked. The meat was good. The Takoyaki and Karage Don were both crispy on the outside, and very flavourful. The service was nice and fast, our food came out promptly after we ordered. You also get the option to add extra noodles for $2. The ramen themselves don't come with too many toppings, and you have the option to add them (eg. egg, kimchi, ghost pepper, deep fried garlic etc.) for an additional charge. The only thing I may complain about is the smell of the restaurant when we first walked in. It was around 9:30pm (an hour before closing time) and the restaurant smelled heavily of bleach.

It was over all great experience! We loved their Chashu! It was torched (aburi) and flavor was great. Waiter was nice, kept good distance I think. My daughter enjoyed Karaage too! I added marinated egg and I liked it.

A nice cozy spot for a satisfying bowl of authentic Japanese ramen. Good for party of 1-4. They have about 8 different ramens to choose from, which is just the nice amount of selection to ensure good quality & taste in my opinion. For those who are vegetarian, they do offer a veggie ramen, but I’m not sure if the broth is vegetarian. As for appetizers, they’re all pretty good, would recommend the tofu nugget as it’s not something you can find everywhere.
