My
sister
has
walked
by
here
many
many
times
and
the
exterior
just
pops
she
say,
she's
never
had
the
right
moment
to
stop
in
to
try
so
guess
what
I
made
her
come
with
my
wife
and
I
to
check
it
out.
Just
a
random
Tuesday
night
and
we
were
in
need
of
some
good
comfort
food
before
the
nasty
weather
hits
and
before
a
night
at
the
comedy
club.
My
sister
suggested
we
check
it
out
cause
she
loved
how
this
little
ramen
shop
just
popped
with
light
wooden
exterior
and
interior
surrounded
by
the
concrete
jungle
of
Toronto.
When
I
first
saw
the
name
I
was
already
like
woah
Street
Fighter
this
place
can't
be
bad
if
it's
named
after
the
game.
The
interior
has
a
few
paintings
with
Street
fighter
characters
and
Ryu
throwing
a
shoryuken
but
instead
of
a
flaming
ball
it
was
a
bowl
of
ramen
how
cool
is
that?
There
are
some
specials
for
appetizers
daily
as
well
as
a
discounted
pint
of
Sapporo
when
you
order
any
appetizer.
So
we
went
and
ordered
3
appetizers
which
was
the
tofu
nuggets,
takoyaki,
and
chicken
nanban.
The
tofu
nuggets
you
get
about
7
or
8
pieces
with
a
dipping
sauce
which
is
a
sweet
chilli
mayo,
the
tofu
was
fried
to
a
golden
crisp
and
soft
on
the
inside
which
I
loved.
The
sweet
chilli
mayo
was
good
kind
of
reminded
me
of
almost
like
a
sweet
and
sour
sauce
from
McDonald's
and
the
chilli
part
isn't
spicy
at
all
no
need
to
worry.
The
takoyaki
was
about
the
same
as
any
takoyaki
I've
had
at
any
decent
Japanese
restaurant
so
it
didn't
blow
me
away
but
it
wasn't
bad,
well
made
soft
on
the
inside
and
a
pinky
nail
size
of
tentacle.
Wow
my
favorite
had
to
have
been
the
chicken
nanban.
The
chicken
was
not
a
small
piece
I
normally
get
this
was
probably
half
a
drum
each
piece.
The
chicken
was
very
crispy
and
juicy,
their
take
on
tartar
sauce
wow
so
good
I
even
took
a
spoon
full
and
ate
it.
Sorry
it
took
so
long
to
get
to
the
noodles,
thank
you
for
reading
if
you
guys
are
still
with
me.
There
are
two
types
of
noodles
to
choose
from
straight
which
is
thin
and
more
traditional
or
they
have
wavy
a
thicker
chewyer
noodle.
My
sister
ordered
the
black
tonkotsu
ramen
with
the
straight
noodles
and
no
extra
toppings.
The
soup
flavour
I
found
was
good
flavourful
and
smelled
yummy,
you
can
really
taste
the
black
roasted
garlic
oil
in
the
soup.
My
wife
ordered
the
red
hot
tonkotsu
wavy
noodles
with
a
side
of
marinated
egg.
This
soup
base
a
spicier
than
most
ramen
shops
we've
had
and
didn't
taste
like
the
powder
spice
that
most
ramen
shops
use.
They
serve
you
a
spoon
full
of
their
homemade
hot
sauce
left
in
the
spoon
and
not
mixed
into
your
broth,
they
leave
that
part
completely
up
you
so
however
much
you
decide
to
swirl
into
the
broth
that's
all
you.
Me
being
me
I
had
to
order
the
chashu
lover
which
is
basically
the
Hakata
tonkotsu
ramen
but
with
7
slices
of
that
juicy
succulent
chashu
lightly
torched
for
the
smokey
flavour.
The
broth
tastes
damn
good
but
the
broth
they
serve
is
a
slightly
richer
and
thicker
style,
I'm
not
a
huge
fan
of
thick
rich
broth
but
none
the
less
this
is
still
a
solid
broth
that's
just
personal
preference.
Oh
yeah
did
I
mention
they
had
manga
you
can
read
while
you
wait
for
your
friends
or
your
food!
