I ordered chicken shawarma plate. I added extra rice but I can’t even eat it because the rice is burnt! The portions are small and over priced. I used to come here all the time and the portions used to be decent. Now look at that, what is that? I even tipped the guy when I shouldn’t have. DISAPPOINTING! Just close down!

I ordered a chicken shawerma sandwich, it was tasteless and cold. It's literally super dry chicken sandwich with loads of veggies. The guy there was not friendly at all. It's also very expensive compared to the food and service. The place didn't look clean and the condiments look so dry and old. Totally not recommended.

3.7 / 5.0 - Middle Eastern Take Out - Quick Service. Respectable late night. I can’t comment on lunch. Pretty sure dinner is online. It’s not really a dine-in destination but good quality take out anytime of day from my experience. My meal at 2am was fresh, well made and tasty. If it was Sunday to Thursday, and I was in the area, this is a great late night option. Service was strong from what I got, but can’t guarantee. Not a long term solution, but a late night reliable one. Pictures say a lot. They told me not eat here and leave….. Then changed and said okay stay. So I don’t have clarity on that. I’d keep this to a late night option or quick fix.

Being in a prominent area, they should really consider serving fresh food and cleaning up their restaurant. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap combo and falafel. Veggies in the wrap were not fresh and chicken was a bit bland. Fries had ton of oil draining out and tasted off which seemed to be caused by old oil. They just heated up a pre made falafel in microwave and served. For the price they are charging and the kind of service they provide - the food is way below standards set by other local shawarma joints in the city. Worst Shawarma experience I’ve had in the GTA area by far. Not recommended.

You go to a shawarma shop to buy shawarma right? That’s exactly what I got. I large chicken shawarma, no fuss. And it was good. I like the meat and all the ingredients. It was what a late night shawarma is supposed to be like. The place was clean as well. Can comment on other things, but get the shawarma here but just keep in mind the prices reflect the location.

Very disappointed. We ordered chicken shawarma combo and beef shawarma combo from Uber eat, we didn’t receive any pops, we received wraps!! I checked the pictures online, combo is supposed to be meat, sauce, fries in a box and with Pop on the side! Fries are cold. That’s not what I want, so sad.

The food without thinking about the price is 5/10. With the price I’d say 1/10. I paid $20 for practically no rice and overcooked meat. The box also broke. Not pleased whatsoever

Overall it’s very good I say 4.2 star is fair Food is always fresh Sometimes there is a line up in peak hours. I like Falafel, usually get them as side dish. Staff are nice Few parking spaces usually available in the rear of the building with a back door.

I hope this message finds you well. I recently visited your establishment, Shawarma Max, and ordered the chicken and fries. Unfortunately, I had a rather unsatisfactory experience due to the dry chicken that was served to me. Despite mentioning my concerns to the staff, I felt compelled to accept the plate as I was quite hungry at the time. However, the dry chicken significantly detracted from my dining experience, and I believe it’s essential to bring this matter to your attention. Turkish. Ilk ve sondu . Chicken and fried verdim yapilirken izliyordum ve calisan cok yeniydi siparisi yapti kasadayken dedim ona bunu baskasina yapsan almaz ama ben almak zorundaydim cunki cok actim. Cidden tansiyonum yukseldi cok tuzluydu dry oldugu icin.

I can say I'm a regular customer and I enjoy the food here. But I don't know if it's the pita quality or it's the wrapping skills because my wrap is just tearing apart :( unfortunately, it's been like that the last few times I visited. Also, wraps were not grilled. Or were just grilled for like one second. Still love the food but quite disappointed..

The food is average quality, the price is sky high, I paid 29 dollars for chicken wrap and shawarma plate, I don’t think it should exceed $20. I would recommend them to make fresh shawarma and re consider their price policy.

I was just BULLIED at this restaurant (see image attached) trying to help them. I asked for beef wrap. More patrons came in. They gave me chicken. I tried to tell them that, since I asked for beef, they may have made a mistake with another person's order. They thought I wanted my order redone, and I told them I was OK with chicken. Then the guy asked if I wanted ketchup, and I said "yes, please". He smeared ketchup on my fry box, and gave me ketchup that was gross and all stuck together. I had to clean everything before I could eat. I was trying to help, and they bullied me...what is wrong with people, seriously?! Normally I only leave positive reviews, but this made me really sad and I had to share.

Went into this establishment for the first time last night for a late dinner with my friend. We ordered the top recommendations, which was the chicken shawarma also the shawarma poutine. I was impressed with the poutine but everything was very decent at best quality. I expected a bit more in terms of quality for the price. The whole store itself seems very run down and old. Staff could be more friendly as well just to make sure the customers are happy and feel like their welcomed in the store.

Service especially bad. New hires do not understand customer service, not knowing menu, mixing up orders. Food too expensive. $20 for a plate? No hot sauce? Nope.

I ordered from doordash and specifically didn’t added any hot sauce but they added the sauce to the chicken. I have an allergy called anaphylaxis and im basically allergic with spicy foods. Their fries were so raw and rubbery and the garlic sauce came out of the fridge, i feel like toronto should check this place out for food safety measures. This restaurant needs to be shutdown immediately. If you ever see this review, DONT EVER ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

I’ve been coming to this place regularly since 2016. It was my favourite shawarma restaurant. It has been a steady decline in the last few years, constantly raising the price and a decline in quality. You’ll notice they constantly have new staff. It is clear management doesn’t care and focuses on low cost

Fast and good service. Comparing to the price, food is quiet good. Fries can be better.

Pretty overpriced, $15 for the chicken shawarma on the rocks. The hot sauce is a generic Frank’s hot sauce, expected something more authentic. Wouldn’t come back.

Ordered a plate, unfortunately the chicken was dry and stale. I’ve tried way better quality shawarma plates in Toronto at this price point.

Tried the chicken shawarma plate and a Baklava as dessert. The shawarma was tasty and had good quantity along with rice and vegetable as side. The baklava was tasty as it was the first time ever I tried it. The place was quite busy so I had to wait in line for some minutes even though I had ordered ahead on the app.

A heavy let down spot.... First of the food was wayyy too salty, I believe the pickles was the cause of this and as a result overpowered all the other flavors. The service was very messy and unorganized, I do think the staff is well mannered and kind but I waited 40 minutes due to a few customers infront of me ordering 3 shawarma plates each causing the hold up.

Shawarma max is an absolutely legendary shawarma establishment. Personal Favourite dish is a mixed shawarma and the unbeatable Baklava’s. Been coming here for years with friends and family. No doubt the best in Toronto and maybe Canada. Receb, Emrah, and Sehaj are legends. The Picasso’s/ Michael Angelo’s of making shawarma wraps. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 12/10

Tasty, just lacks consistency. If they kept up the quality all the time I would not hesitate in rating it much higher.

I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed -- particularly with the flavour of the food or the lack thereof. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate and though the food was fresh, the serving was generous and the guy who served me was friendly, it didn't quite satisfy my palate. I would only recommend this place for the convenience, since they are open late; however, not for a night out on the town.

I've had worse. We ordered a group order and several items were missing from our order. Wraps were soggy and missing elements in the wrap. Plates are assembled with the salad on the bottom and soggy. Falafel plates didn't seem to have fresh vegetables. I would not recommend.

Beef shawarma tastes really good! Me and I friend always buy shawarma from here and we really enjoy. I asked for fries and shawarma and the guy works offered me to make fresh fries !But there is a thing I guess their beef or chicken is not always fresh.

Delicious shawarma, great service, and good prices. Dont forget to try a baklava while at it. They also have some yummy chicken fries if you dont like greens :)

This is some of the best chicken shawarma I have had. They re-fry the chicken after cutting it off the rotisserie to make it even crispier and delicious.

Absolutely disappointed…the rice was terrible, worst I ever had. It was extremely soggy, like extremely. The tahini sauce’s viscosity is so off, it was 100% watered down. When the person put it in, I wanted to cry because I regretted that decision when I saw how liquidity it is. Ohh and I am pretty sure they use Frank’s hot sauce for the shawarma. Disgusting. And this is what is left of the food. Paid $34 by the way. What an absolute joke. Will never comeback, this is a scam.
