Place is extremely dirty, no wonder they have inspection signage on the door front. Front cashier was extremely rude and unprofessional, the total came to $12, i offered to pay by cash $20, she forced me pay by card saying she doesn't have chain. Then a customer complained about being waiting there for a while and his food was not ready yet... She then replied by anger and started an offensive tone against the customer. We had to wait for about $30mins for a simple chicken leg, they got my order wrong not only once but twice! The food portion is small, food was tasty... But won't come again. 0/5 customer service, 0/5 cleanliness, 3/5 food taste + portion.... Avoid this place at any cost

Today we bought two kofteh kebab and chicken stick mix, The kofteh was not cooked well enough which makes me wonder was is the ingredients of the kofteh, as far as i experienced, the taste was nowhere near ground beef and the price is Way TOO EXPENSIVE! THE QUALITY AND TASTE IS NOWHERE NEAR ANY OTHER COMPETITORS NEITHER THE MATERIALS....as soon as i start eating the kofteh i noticed the taste is like eggs and flour! I am very disappointed.... Dirty plastic tables set up on a tiny patio.... We paid $33.80 for this food! I felt vomiting up!

Love this little takeout place. It doesn’t seem much from outside or even from inside. But they only focus on take out and delivery. But food is always prepared fresh and tastes great. Portion size is also huge with very reasonable pricing. Service is also fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Bought few meals one was Koobideh and the inside was all red when I got home. I called them and send them the pictures, at first they were trying to come up with an excuse that it is the kind of meat that stays red even after cooking and when I brought it to her attention that the outside is cooked and it is brown and it is one inside that is red and uncooked and unsafe to eat. She asked me to come and get another meal and I told her that I am 30 min away and don't feel like driving back. I asked her to put my name in their book and whenever I am close by I will go pickup a replacement meal and we agreed. Today I did find time and went the 2 ladies at the cash told me that Mr. Danesh has instructed them not to give any replacement to anyone. We tried to get a hold of him and was not available. I also told them that I will put this in social media and the chef said we don't care we make good money and we have lots of customer. It is a shame and wanted to let everyone know that of my experience . I will never step in any of taftan restaurants. Thank God there are too many persian restaurants with better service and better cooked food. Cheers

Just okay. I enjoy supporting local small businesses. Unfortunately there isn't anything that sets this place aside or is even notable. I had the beef koobideh pictured here. While the meat was tender, there was no scent or hint of charcoal flavour. I would recommend that the salad be cut up into smaller portions as it could not be eaten without being cut up further, like pierced of onion that were the inches long. Other than bottles of Frank's hot sauce, there was no hot sauce available. Afghan Grill in downtown provides a serving of a homemade hot sauce which completely makes the dish. Owner could have been more engaging when she was telling my order. Price was in the range of similar restaurants ($11.99).

I had the absolute worst experience at Taftan Kebab. I had ordered a meal for 3 people, with 2 orders of Koobideh Combo and 2 orders of Chicken leg on skewers for takeaway. As I opened it, I noticed that the rice was over cooked and, unlike in the past, was a very tiny portion. The Koobideh kebabs were also significantly smaller than in the past, and when I tasted them, they had an awful smell. I called the restaurant up and the lady told me that they were having an issue with their meat, and that they would give me a refund. So, I drove back 20 minutes, but, when she saw that I had eaten part of a kebab ( mind you, the 2nd box was intact, as well as the chicken) she refused. I told her, “ How would I know it was bad if I hadn’t tasted it? Plus, you can see that, literally only a bite has been eaten.” She said that her manager, Danesh, who was at one of their other sites, has refused a refund. She then gave me his telephone number and told me to call him. When I did, also telling him that the lady had herself admitted that they were having an issue with the meat and that on her say so, I had driven all the way back with the food. He was extremely rude to me, basically told me to get lost, and that I didn’t need to get their food again. So, no refund. Horrible food that they admitted was off. Never going back there again. Wish I’d taken photos, alas, I left the bag there.

Tasty food, friendly staff gave complimentary food to taste. Straight up Kebab with plenty options to choose from. Chicken was very good and tasty!

The meat could have been cooked more and the flavor was not the best, I felt like they didn’t put enough time in cooking it. The rice amazing, too notch. The tomatoes was also decent. I think the location is good enough for one time try and to see but otherwise not greatest. The price compensates a-little but for it since it’s not on the expensive side.

Do not order your food here, there are some major hygienic problems. This business need to start putting some cleaning and maintenance procedure. Ask your staff to wear gloves and hairnets. Also, the quality of the food was not acceptable

This is my favorite place for kebabs in Toronto. They really have a high quality kebab. Its a small restaurant and there is not much seating inside or outside. There is no parking at the restaurant, but there is parking near by. The staff are friendly and give prompt service. The sultani combo is the best I have ever had!! The steak kebab is so tender, and the ground beef kebab is so tasty!! They really grill the tomato and the rice is fresh and tasty. The salad was very fresh, and crispy. All in all I highly recommend this restaurant if your feeling like kebabs.

They are the best in this area. believe me! My husband and I dine out a lot and get a lot of take-outs from Persian restaurants around this area. This one is the best so far! The koobideh kebab was juicy and rich in flavour. the chicken kebab was very well seasoned and marinated. The barg kebab was so tender and juicy. The rice was fluffy and very tasty. the price was on point. The salad was fresh. I recommend this place if you want delicious kebab for an amazing price. The staff were very welcoming and nice.

Those $12-ish kebab from take-out restaurants are so much better than this. The beautiful decorations of this restaurant gave me the impression that they offer the top notch Persian food tho. So I’m quite disappointed 😢

Worst kebab ever; Bought meals twice from this place and each time, the taste was awful. I never buy anything from this place again. There are very good Persian restaurants around in this area and even the take-out ones are far better than this place. Honestly, the closest taste I could remember to the ones purchased at this place, was that of the kebab meals which we used to get on the campus during our undergraduate studies back in Iran (those kebab meals are famous for their horrible taste among Iranian students back home).

This is one of the better Taftan locations. The koobideh is good (and not full of stinky lamb) and the portions are big! For $100 you can easily feed 8-10 people 👌🏽 overall, if you’re looking for Persian food, you can’t go wrong here 👍🏽

Very delicious and the staff was very kind and accommodating to our large family of 13. We got their number 1 family platter and 2 vazari kebab plates. It was amazing.

I bought Gormesabzi, Halim, and Ash-Sholegalamkar. Gormesabzi was good, Ash Sholegalamkar was not tasty at all and Halim was almost garbage tasting sour. I'm so sorry for this business that advertising Freshly cooked Halim but garbage one indeed!

Five (5) stars for 2 reasons: 1-Great food 2-Having an Iranian restaurant in this specific location where there aren't any nearby. If you are planning to dine in please know, It's a takeaway + delivery catering place that has limited sitting capabilities for a quick eat; there are no round tables inside; But one thing is for sure food quality is 10/10.

Honestly, this restaurant is the best🌟. The food is so delicious, fresh, and was a lot, the dish was full. Also, they gave me and my friend an extra meal for free although this was my second time there. Additionally, the team are so nice, patience, and kind. My friend is picky and she was asking for something every few minutes but they were so nice serving with a smile. I am so grateful to you Taftan Kebab, you made my day. God bless you richly 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We ordered 3 dishes. Let's start with pros, Barg kebab was tasty but dry, now for cons, we ordered the stew and they forgot the rice, after calling them to let them know they just said, oh!, no apology. The koobide was dry, tasteless, and also the smell was very bad. We orderd Dough( drink) and they served it in a bowl.

Date: 10/10/2021 Time: 8:00PM - 8:30PM We went to Taftan Kebab hoping for a nice peaceful halal dinner meal and ordered accordingly (chicken shawarma which was misleading priced at $4.99 and was actually $10.00 and we ordered chicken leg on rice with salad on the side, both meals were also subpar) the female at the counter and the elderly gentleman in the back cooking were both the employees who were very nice individuals once we got the food the owner came and stood behind the counter we sat and opened our food then saw that the chicken was raw and hence we went back to the female and asked her if she could please refire the chicken too cook it more and the owner rudely interrupted and started to describe how the chicken was good and fully cooked in a hideously loud tone (screaming) even though he was not involved he went out of his way to ruin a customers day. I hope I could give 0 stars for how bad the customer service and the food is, their are many restaurants that are way better in the area, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE.
