A glorified pyramid scheme. They work for a larger company out of the USA that recruits people to open new offices with the intentions for recruitment. They claim they are a “third party marketing company” when in actuality they are a door to door sales company. It is entirely commissions based. They make you all of these promises and build up this false hope. You end up working 14 hours a day and if you make no sales, you worked for free. If you are not making sales they will degrade, harass or fire you. Don’t waste you time with those “company” or any of their other offices.

The entry level sales representative position is actually a door to door salesman job that is 100% commision based. Not once did Ashley mentionned this during the interview. I only found out couple hours later doing a job search. I can't believe I took a day off work for this.

As a few others have said, this company is a complete waste of time. They called me for an interview and gave me little to no information about what I would be doing. They make it seem as though you will be closely working with a team of professionals to achieve goals vaguely related to personal empowerment and motivation, but in reality they have you walking around neighborhoods selling products door to door from 8am to 10pm 6 days a week. It is also entirely commission based, meaning if you don't make any sales, you've worked all day for free. They expect you to know every detail of the products and be ready to make sales in a matter of days. After wasting my time here for a month, they let me go because I wasn't manipulative enough to scam (mostly elderly) homeowners out of money for products that were genuinely not going to help them in any way.The 'office' consists of 3 rooms, the interview room, the bosses office, and the third an open room with no chairs where everyone stands around blowing smoke up the company's a$$ during "team meetings", speaking about how it is the best place ever to work, and really making you feel like you hit the jackpot, when in reality they are simply overworking you and not paying you unless you are someone who can sell people things they don't need (in other words, a manipulator). STAY FAR AWAY!

Absolute trash place to work. The job is door to door sales, which they make no mention of until your first day of training, even when you ask them details during the interview. The workday consists of you wandering outside for hours knocking on doors, for which you will only get paid if you make a sale. You will start around noon, and you won't get back to the office until around 10, for which they will waste more of your time debriefing or whatever. Coworkers are unbearable too, they will have you believing you hit the jackpot working at this place when all you do is get the door slammed in your face for the occasional penny.

Incredibly misleading pyramid scheme. You will lose money working for them. It’s door to door sales but you’re not paid for training or any of the work you put in before you make a sale. Be wary of any organization that doesn’t value experience. Some of the staff are quite aggressive. Please ask as many questions as you possibly can before you commit your time

I went here for an opportunity to meet the leaders and the reps. One of the most energetic and goal oriented cultures I’ve ever discovered. You couldn’t even tell who was running the office because of everyone’s demeanour. If your looking to take a great step forward in your professional or personal life, this is the place to go.

I came in for an interview recently. Never have I felt more welcomed and comfortable so quickly. I'm pretty new to the city and I've done a couple of interviews already but the staff at OVIO by far were the most professional - You can tell they genuinely love their jobs here.

Team culture is definitely one of the greatest assets here! 100% People oriented company. People helping people all the time. Goals oriented and definitely the perfect mix of professionalism, work ethic and fun.

Their teamnights are the best! I've only been here since February and I love the culture. The people are so nice! We did badminton, indoor soccer and beach volleyball, house birthday parties, etc... I always try to invite my wife when she's free and she's made a lot of friends in the office. People are really motivated, but they also work really hard. Anyone who works hard and is super motivated would do well here.

I started working with OVIO a little over a year ago as an entry level sales representative. I had just recently moved to Toronto with a Bachelors of Commerce degree, a major in marketing, and a background in retail. My priority was getting my foot in the door in the marketing and business industry and gaining some entry level experience to fluff up my resume. I was in sales for about four months- within that time I grew as a professional and as a person, developed my interpersonal skills and a killer work ethic. I was able to thrive in a business where success was based on performance, not seniority, and because of that was offered a position has an HR recruiter. I get to work with an absolutely incredible team of entrepreneurs and young professionals that consistently coach and encourage me to hit my goals.
