The minute I stepped into this library, I was constantly ogled by two guys, no doubt natives of this charming neighbourhood. The library looks like something out of the 90's and feels dated and stuffy. Their quiet study section is a joke, as half the people talk with a regular voice, answer phones or do group work. I exited after 15 minutes and thankfully wasn't jumped on the way to the car. If you value your safety stay far away from this joint.

This is a wonderful spacious 2 level library. I was amazed. Sections for everything, children, computers, reading, study full of light also. Very nice. They also have instruments on borrow at this location.

Decently sized library. Very open plan upon entering. Well lit throughout the building, save for dark room (which I can only assume is meant to be darker for whatever reason). Seemed to be quite clean inside, even during the winter. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Have never felt unwelcome in the library. I often came here for printing jobs. Two printers near by each other made it easier; I've seen people print (probably) over a hundred or so pages at a time, so it is nice to have the other as an option. Not a terribly great amount of computers were obvious on entering; only 6 computers which required standing to use. I would imagine this could be an issue in the evening; other libraries I've been to with far more computers seemed to have trouble coping with the amount of people that came in to use public computers. Didn't have time to check out the library more, but at first glance, I question the amount of books they had available. The shelves seemed smaller, so that you may look over them, and the only taller shelves were on the walls. There may be more on the other floor.

There's working homeless people sleeping in chairs in-between shifts, and a dude with his own power bar charging several devices and conducting business on a laptop , making and receiving calls!.. the entire upper level is too loud, and operates more as a community center/WeWork than a place to read and study ..the lower level was a bit better expect for someone with a cold who should have stayed home and kept coughing!! Smh

Very busy during weekdays, lots of kids, friendly and helpful staff! if you're looking for a quieter space, go to the lower level! Come lunch time, lots of teens come to hangout - which is a great to see but can be very noisy. Lots of cultural diversity and good programs available for all ages!

I went there with my boyfriend because I genuinely love books. We went downstairs and there was a very rude female security guard. There was only one chair and i did not want to disrupt anyone by dragging a chair over. I just sat on my boyfriends knee while we read a book together and she told us that we had to sit in seperate seats so I politely said okay and just sat on the arm rest of his chair and she came back and told me that I have to not sit on him, i told her i wasn't and pointed to the arm rest and she said "no, you are sitting on him and its inappropriate, if you do it again, you will have to leave" so at this point i am mad so i say fine i wont sit on the arm rest. My boyfriend picks up a chair for me and puts it beside his AND THE LADY STILL COMES BACK saying how I cant put the chair next to him because it goes against covid rules yet there were groups of people sitting together and i said " we are not making out, we are sitting beside each other like you said, we arent breaking any covid rules" so she tells a volunteer that we are breaking the rules and then gets a male security guard to come downstairs and go find us. We just decided to leave because we were so mad. TERRIBLE!

Worst library that I have been so far. The study rooms at the basement was resembling a prison. Furthermore; stinky, noisy due to water meter room.

You can't even be with your significant other without then thinking you are going to do "dirty stuff". It's ridiculous, reading a book together and they think we are ready to get freaky, at 12 in the afternoon🤦‍♂️

Great quiet place to read or study, i found that unstairs is a little noisey. Thankfully they have an "adult" or "mature" atmosphere in the basement. Great selection of books and movies to loan, also they have plenty computers for all your needs. Staff are nice and friendly. Bad times to go are 3-4 pm during the weekdays as the school day is finished and is flooded with "students " coming form the nearby schools. I reccomend this library.

I like coming to this location on Saturday mostly; however other days are needed to also studying but even then the quiet study areas is never quite. Please tell me what the point of putting up a sign for quiet area on desk and at glass entrance glass doors propped open where no can really see the sign to read it for the quiet area. The sign needs to be more visible upon entrance of the doorway this way people can remember their manners hopefully read the sign before entering the quiet study area. No person(s) walking in the quiet area can see the signs on the table until you reach the table . Move the signs from the doorway glass entrance where it can be read without being hidden as the door is propped open and no person can read the sign. The sign on the glass no one can see as the door is propped open. Leave the door closed so the sign can be seen or move the sign all together to a place where it can be properly seen more clearly. The kids (after school program) on the other side of the quiet area and the office workers in the room near the down stairs bathroom should also be reminded equally that they are also in the quiet area.

Christopher squeezed me in so I didn't have to come back the next day. Bless his heart. He even ensured I wasn't wasting my money on maintenance that ran the possibility of being performed too frequently. Professional front man, and clearly not trying to push unnecessary services for a commission. Will definitely come back!

very pleasant lady staff at the front desk, today, Nov 5, 2018. She explained and helped me get some online printing access. However, right or wrong, I had to pay one dollar for a plastic card. the 15 cents per page was not an issue, but paying for a card just cause it has some numbers on it....? I liked the quick access location of this library for my urgent email and printing need.

This library has changed for the worse. It used to be alright back in the days, but now it's so ghetto. I couldn't get any help from whoever was working there, I got a bad vibe the first moment I walked in and the place just feels overall sketchy. I knew I wouldn't be able to get the work I needed to get done here and left after I couldn't get any help in a reasonable amount of time. Don't come here, go to another library.
