October 6, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ During my morning coffee outing, I was impressed by the cleanliness and the fantastic customer service. The only thing that fell short of my expectations was the coffee itself. The cozy ambiance of the coffee shop made for a pleasant visit.

The staff (male barista)obviously don’t know what r they doing and extremely rude and unprofessional .they are just too busy socializing with each other . Feel like no one actually working there . Apparently they Need more customer service training.. Hope management or owner can trained them properly..

They have signs to make sure customers don’t get lost in the gigantic parking lot. Outdoor patio is good. Inside is very clean with stylish interior design. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service is quick and no need to wait.

A good cup of hot chocolate, but nothing above and beyond. Nothing good to eat was offered so late in the day

Spacious and well stocked with quality baked goods that cater to gluten friendly, or lactose friendly diets. I love the Wild blueberry scone and I am extremely fond of the Sweets from the Earth selections of chocolate and vegan products. This is a sprawling front patio shop with many sanitized tables.

I arrived at the coffee shop at 7:15am to do my work. The store is closed and noone is here despite it says that they open at 7am. I basically wasted my time coming here, and i'm waiting in front of this coffee shop in cold weather, and it's raining outside. I basically couldn't do my work at this shop and need to go find another coffee shop to work at. By the way, it is 7:25am now. I just waited 10 minutes in the rain and still noone showed up and the store still remains closed. There is a starbucks nearby i think i'll try going there.

where do i begin with this place? first of all, if you are considering going here for a coffee, look elsewhere. 1. no coffee was brewed when we ordered. there was no one in front of us in line and the seating area had about eight customers who were already served. the wait time for a new pot of coffee....15 minutes. 2. being asked repeatedly about what 'size' of coffee was tedious and unnecessary. there was no rush for the person at the cash, no noise to distort my request, her finger was on the computer screen when i asked for 'small' so naturally one would think that the 'small' button would be pushed after what i stated...not so. 3. waiting for the coffee.....had to ask for it as i saw it poured and sitting on the counter. instead of finishing with our order, she went and started working on someone else's drink. why? 4. the place is somewhat dirty and not like the it was years ago. 5. i prefer to add my own almond milk rather than depending on the barista to know how i like to have my coffee. 6. do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. PS...our coffee tasted like 'flavoured' coffee and not the dark, UNFLAVOURED we asked for.....three times.

Stopped in with my wife for what we thought would be a quick coffee and pastry. Ordered 2 small coffees and 1 chocolate brownie. Three times while at the cash we were asked if we wanted medium coffees. And then we had to again specify we wanted 1 brownie, not two. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for our coffee. What coffee shop doesn't have coffee ready at all times???!! Then after we left I realized I had been given flavoured coffee which is why it tasted funny to me, not regular coffee as I had ordered. These were the only 2 choices of coffee available by the way. Won't be going back to any Second Cup.

Really really awful customer service. The baristas also have no clue what to suggest when I asked for recommendations. I understood if she was new, but she told me she wasn’t. Not impressed with the long wait times either considering there was only two customers in the store. I love second cup but probably would never recommend this specific location.

The coffee shops are opening up. This location is pretty good. Unlike Aroma and Starbucks, then have sockets in benches so you can actually plug 🔌in your laptop. Music is fine. Not as loud and disturbing as in many other places. My wife loves frozen yogurt that they make - a bit healthier version of 🍦. We come here often as it is close to Costco. The service is always good - polite, kind, and attentive. Today is a Civic day. Holiday in Ontario. Good day to spoil yourself a little bit :) Recommend! Team Second Cup, keep up the good work!

First time I went was mid morning and it was great. Got an iced coffee and an iced latte of some sort. Second time was evening, I got a coffee that was old and burnt and bitter. The girls working seemed to not care. My bf got a decaf which tasted like water. Not good.

Time of visit around 10AM. Warm friendly greeting upon entering establishment. Great bright and welcoming decor with a nice mural on wall near gas fireplace. Had the turkey ciabatta sandwich which was warmest nicely and tasted great.

The cappuccino was fantastic 😍 I also had the flavoured coffee, Belgian Chocolate and it actually felt like eating a box of chocolate!

It’s already middle of October, but I still saw at least 5 flys. Also I got my order later than the one coming later than me.

I’m siting outside this location, it’s open till 8pm, barista refused to serve she said was cleaning, she has turned off all the machines, then i came outside checked the sign i case i read it wrong, it said open and hours up-to 8pm, i went back inside, she came and turned off the sign. When there are other customers siting inside, it’s 7:00pm, Literally one hour early….. i just needed a coffee. I’m so disappointed.

Last week I was able to order a large flat white. This week they gave me a large cup with a bit of flat white. Never going back.. they just lost good customer.

Went today and got a white frocho was awful 😖 was no white chocolate flavor more ice then milk the only taste was milk was like milk with ice I think the person making the drink needs more training very disappointing I will not be back to this location is not the first time have had a bad drink the 2 workers are spanish. I recommend the second cup at Lawrence and Bathurst nicer staff.

I'm a Starbucks fan but I thought I'd try Second Cup just to compare. I got the FroCho & it was ok. I'd likely order it again - or try something different - but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to get it

The two girls working on 2/25 at 7pm were fantastic. Faced an unruly customer with grace and self control. Hot chocolate was also fantastic!

Being a coffee connoisseur, this particular outlet is my fav go-to place.t This coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! The service was good, and the variety of coffee served in the ambience was very satisfying. If you like your coffee shops, then this is a must-visit! We will be back again! Also, the atmosphere inside this coffee shop was very vibrant and relaxing. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Special mention to Alyssa, April, Venessa and Most importantly Paul. The way Paul explained the process how Second Cup sources their coffee from is purely phenomenal. Thank you so much, guys! They do have a variety of food and drinks you can select from. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! A memorable place to relax.

We tried twice in the same day and won’t be going again, unfortunately a waste of money and a disappointment. My partner picked us up a Honey Vanilla Tea Latte in the afternoon on his way home (these have been my favourite since I gave birth to our daughter and tried one a month ago for the first time at sunny-brook) every-time since then at other locations they’ve been delicious just like the first time! But what he brought home was awful and tasted nothing like it, but I shrugged it off. We went again on our trip to Best Buy and it wasn’t good yet again so I went back in to let them know it tasted nothing like it was supposed to. The girl said “there’s honey in it” and asked if I wanted more so I said okay and she gave me the bottle to add it myself. Ali tasted it after and tasted nothing like it. This night they also started the conversation by telling me they were closing early and then asking what I wanted. For almost 6 dollars per drink, added with tax this was 40+ in orders as we always get baked goods. Disheartening that we have to travel downtown to get a good tea latte when this is closest to us. We hope that the recipe is shared with employees more adequately so we get the same experience we do else where as should everyone else

Hi this second cup usually makes good coffee but the service is sometimes not at its best. There have been times where one of the girls has been on her phone talking the whole time while she is working. This to me is not acceptable when you have customers waiting. There would have been a time not long ago where you would get fired. I guess times have changed.

Chai tea latte is the best❤️ I love thia place and there banana bread is so yummy and worth the money👍🏻

Clean and cosy place. Tried a great smoothie there. Not a lot of variety in the menu though. The place was not very crowded and I easily found a place to sit when I visited, although I did visit on an afternoon on a working day.

Loved it, nice place to relax and sip on some good coffee. White mocha and vanilla bean latte are wonderful!

The staff at the Billy Bishop location lack the basics of customer service. Not matter how slow it is, the staff pretend not to see that there’s someone in line waiting to place an order and when you’re finally helped, they seem annoyed by your patronage.
