We spent a lot of money in that place for my friend's birthday, 26 people on food and alcoholic beverages, and they denied us tap water! That is riduculous. And the staff very rude. 

Tasty Dominican food and good prices. You must order food from this place and do not forget the passion fruit juice.

Great atmosphere service is great, abit too small as for space not like other bars boots is small as well not much privacy however we had a great time.

One of the finest Latin Lounges in Toronto with a hint of Dominican upper middle class culture. They serve food and snacks up until 10 p.m., while playing background music at a perfect volume level. Its interior decoration is very modern and chic, clean and the staff attention is the best. We were a group of first time visitors, the chef (owner?) came to our table and had a nice conversation with us. Music played was a mix of the best Latin productions from different eras, no voice-over the tracks and the transitions were smooth. The place is suitable for birthdays and other type of social gathering. I had an pleasant and unique experience.

Superb customer service and absolutely delicious DOMINICAN food! So good that we got take out twice this week. The pica pollo with tostones is perfectly done. The carne de res guisado platter is delicious and authentic . One of the best tasting empanadas we have had in a long time .Perfect dough and generous filling of either cheese, beef or chicken. A must-have snack!! The in-ouse made tamarindo drink doesn't disappoint either!! Can't wait to tell our friends about you! Gracias

If u want fake orange nacho cheese instead of real cheese go here and order their overpriced nachos. Oh but my favorite part was being patted down like a criminal despite looking too good for that place.

Human indecency! I was a paying customer on Saturday night it wasn’t even 12 AM the bouncer grabbed my drinks and my arm kicked me out and locked the door. I asked what I had done no reply ignored me. It was freezing cold outside, no offer of water or explanation why I was thrown out. I was alone as a woman in this area it is not safe. This is ridiculous as I have been coming here for 2 years and they treated me without any human regard. Kicked out in the cold all alone. I will never come back. ——————— Response to your comment for the record: Gaslighting at its finest folks!!! Per security allegations that I was intoxicated when I arrived: 1. Why did they allow me to enter? 2. Why did your bartender serve me 1 shot and a bucket of beer? (Not to mention take a shot with me). 3. “Harassing” hilarious! I had a bucket and looking for folks to socialize with and place my drinks as no tables were available. Do ppl not go to bars to socialize? If I was indeed provided with an adequate warning (as you say I was in the “video footage”) I would of gladly set my bucket at the bar and kept to myself as I am not a person to cause problems. As a business owner you should appreciate your customers and take accountability if your staff do something wrong. Not to ridicule and gaslight them due to bad experience/review. Do better!

Wow!! Just wow!! The SERVICE is spectacular!! Located in the heart of the Latin community, this bar is chic, modern and CLEAN!! Bartender makes delicious fresh MANGO mojitos! The baja tacos are to die for! And when you think it can’t get any better the music takes to back down memory lane. All the best Latin hits with a mix of old school salsa, merengue and sweet bachata.ALL THE FEELS OF NEW YORK AND DOMINICAN REPUBLIC but in TORONTO! Una GRASA!!!!

The tacos were very good with just the right spice and ask for chicharon tacos . The right crispness but the shrimp tacos where good too I got 2 of each. The wings were crispy and my friend got the mofongo and liked the broth so much he asked for more and said it was better then the one he had in New york. Well priced and the location looks very clean and welcoming good place to eat and then have drinks and dance . Will be going back .

I enjoyed the cheese empanadas and fried plantain. Definitely more options to choose from that I expected from a lounge. We were allowed to setup a bday table in the patio which was nice. The patio is pleasantly decorated for photos and is a bit quieter so you can talk to your friends. Expect to hear Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue Bachata with top 40s in Latin America playing. They also throw in some one or two reggae / dancehall songs. Earlier in the evening there’s more space to dance but as the night progresses it becomes very hard to dance salsa or Bachata without bumping into everyone around you. I don’t mind the large amount of people in the smaller dance floor but that may bother some people. I stay max until 2 am though because after that you really can’t do more than a two step with how packed it is.

WOW! Authentic, very delicious, fresh and generous portion. Of all the Spanish and Portuguese restaurants around GTA, MICK AND BEAN is the MOST AUTHENTIC AND ORIGINAL THAT SERVES THE REAL CRISPY CHICHARRÓN. not the chewy like rubber type of chicharon from brasas and Amigos.

Nice place with latin music! I was told budget beer deal is 30$ but when l got the bill was 40$.After l asked and he just told me sorry 😃 The budget beer deal is cheating people. So there is no deal. You can order one by one is same.

DJ West was more interested on what he wants to hear, rather than getting anyone to the dance floor…nice place, nice food, but needs an actual DJ.

I was looking forward for a Latino night with good music but ended up having the worst night ever . My purse got stolen right from my table . Didn’t feel safe at all . I do not recommend this place at all specially if you are a group of girls going without any man . Never coming back :(

Hands down the best Latin food and music in the city. The food is authentic/fresh and portion sizes are big for the price. My friends and I went here on the weekend and danced so much.

I love the music. If you want to order food, the music is too loud, our server couldn't even understand what we are ordering and gave my friend the wrong order so our food wasnt served at the same time. The music should be a bit lower. They made the best shrimp tacos I have ever had in my life, top notch! My wine tasted water down like it was wine from a box or some cheap Maria Christina wine 😘 I think the decor could be a little classier though or different paint color, more booths. It looks a bit ghetto, the bathroom door is broken too, which was annoying because I couldn't lock the door when I was in there. For dancing its fun.

Is a very nice place and good security. Especially the Black Security Guy at the washroom entrance He’s very dedicated and well trained.. I will be back next time
