A very dated Asian supermarket. Things are placed in the floor and looks dirty. Not organized and difficult to find the items I need. Cannot use credit card if under $20. Seafood counter is very wet and smelly. Staff at the seafood counter is not friendly.

Had my grocery this morning always at this location almost every 2weeks, but most of the cashier is very nice except this young lady…all I know I ask nicely saying…”I thought that asparagus was on sale”..she said back to me, saying it’s on my computer system I cannot do anything about that! In a rude voice! So I said I need to speak to your manager..she said go ahead I don’t care! Your rude!! I am a cashier and a customer service for a long time but I never ever talk back to my customer…because I always ask nicely! And I am not rude. We live at yonge and steeles but we always came here to get our grocery almost every 2weeks. I guess this is the last…thank you Btrust.

I appreciate the wide range of products available at the store. Whether I'm looking for Asian or Western goods, I can always find them easily and conveniently organized. It's a fantastic place to purchase fresh produce, bakery items, and other food essentials.

I went this supermarket in the morning. Very clean and organized, not smelly at all. Well, seafood area doesn't smell to good due to some fermented products. Overall, I think their meat is fresh and veggies are fresh too.

Rude cashier, rude customer service. H.O number non existent. They think they can speak to customers however way they want. My grocery bill cane up to $30 dlls cashier refusing to take my $50 dll bill because it was early morning and she didn’t have change, she saw I had a few $5 dll bills and wanted me to pay with after I told her I needed them. I ended up using my $5’s and then I had another purchase and same thing this time I said no, she became rude and when she gave me the change she almost threw it at me. Went to the Customer window and the guy there was even worse! 😡

Extremely racist and degrading experience. Shopping while black is frowned upon I guess? Girlfriend and I forgot kimchi, re-entered the store with our purchased goods. I decided to wait near the exit with already purchased items so cashiers wouldn’t confuse what we are about to purchase. Was chased down and accused of stealing even though I told the worker I was already here and my girlfriend had the receipt and was in line. Further accused and called a liar. When the receipt was shown and bag checked and NOTHING was stolen, still wasn’t even given an apology for a misunderstanding. If I could give 0 I would…this probably won’t effect their business at all, but writing this just so it’s out there

Fresh fruits, vegetables & meats! It has a butcher shop in the back. Kitchen near the front ( worth checking out ). Tons of different foods and snacks to choose from. They also sell hygiene & kitchen items. Sales are amazing especially for the fresh meats! Always clean, it's a beautiful shop. They recently added these 2 game machines replacing the candies & stickers.

My mistake and bad judgment for getting food here. I should’ve known better than to eat anything from this store, after seeing ground beef falling ontop of the ground chicken. Despite seeing unsafe food handling I saw the hot food section where they sell the usually buffet Chinese style foods. Bad mistake! Within 2 minute of eating I started to feel sick. Within 10 minutes I am currently on the toilet feeling terrible. Please think twice before buying their cooked food. If you take one look around at all the food prepping areas they are beyond filthy and presumably unsanitary.

The brooding service lady at the hot foods aisle is always so rude. If you've gone there enough times to get food, you will know who I am talking about. She's Chinese, quite tall, has black hair, wears a hat & has a ponytail. She always has an annoyed face whenever she serves customers. She sometimes will throw the food on the counter top when shes giving it to you and overall act like she hates her job. The other workers there are always so nice. The small filipino lady & the young male worker. They have great customer service skills and regardless if the customer is difficult or not, they have the patience to serve them. To the rude chinese lady, if you hate your job so much please quit or find another position, because the way you treat customers is not good at all. Not only does it reflect badly on you- it reflects badly on the overall store.

If you want to feel disrespected, ignored and humiliated please go here. i've been here twice and the cashiers don't ever acknowledge you ,when you want to buy your item. I literally had to go behind an Asian person before I was able to cash out. I am sure they wouldn't want their family members to be treated this way.It's funny that they don't want to be discriminated against but don't mind discriminating against other people. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND KARMA IS COMING.

Quick and easy place to shop. Alot of varieties in this market for Latin, Philippines, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean etc. Always busy but very fast lanes. May not be the most clean place bur super efficient for sure! No cashier ever make eye contact with you and smile but they wrap the glass bottled items in papers carefully so I have no issues. I rather serviced by people who are good at what they do then phony and slow.

Good deals to be had if you arrive later at night from the hot food. Prices are generally cheaper then the bigger chains for asian items.

I wanted to rate 0. I bought a package of peanut rice ball yesterday on Jan 19, 2024. This morning I found out it tasted very not normal, then I realized the best before date is Jan 15.?! How can they sell a food expired 4 days ago with regular price! I will never shop there again cause I won’t trust their food quality and strongly recommend anyone not to go grocery shopping at this store!

There is always a large selection of fruits and vegetables. There is always the king of fruits - durian. ) Everything is fresh and sorted. Nice prices. A wide selection of seafood at reasonable prices.

Some of Btrust’s workers need a lesson in customer service. The lady was rude, almost dropped frozen meat on my baby’s cart. Didn’t apologize, we let it go didn’t say nothing. It’s an accident fine. BUT She accused us of stealing 2 drinks. Kept asking over and over when we said we got it somewhere else. We have another one in a bag. Please check the cameras to see we walked in WITH IT lady. She claims she was just asking. She was harassing. Ohh ya we were definitely going to pay for a whole bunch of groceries but decide to walk out on 2 drinks. If I wanted to steal drinks I wouldn’t walk straight up to the cashier to do so. Keep in mind I’m here I speak her language. Why is she asking my husband when I’m the one paying. To top that we live close by so we go there every few days and shop for a lot. You guys are Disrespectful and racist. Not recommend to go here. You just lost a customer.

I visited at this grocery store and wanted to take a moment to share my experience. Overall, I found the store to be clean and well-organized, and the staff members were friendly and helpful. Overall, while my experience was not exceptional, it was not bad either. There were some areas that could be improved upon, such as the prices and freshness of some products. I hope that they will take this feedback into consideration as you continue to improve and maintain your store.

100 percent honest review. Great market, great prices BUT idk if its the area but the parking lot everyone forgot how to drive and park. And just seems to be of of the rudest people shopping in there. Employees are good just the shoppers are ....... Well yeah

This place is great ! In the summers they have a garden center. They got lots of great produce and products. They also got a cooked food station. The food is good you can make combos with noodles or rice , different meats and vegetables. Dim sum and other yummy appetizers! Check it out.!

Very nice selection of fruits and veggies as well as seafood and Asian delights. The prices are very reasonable. We bought all kinds of assorted seafood for our stir fry, it's going to be wonderful. We will be going back soon.

There's such variety of food to buy especially the fruits and vegetables. Great selection to choose from and many other products it has to offer. I love the big shrimps it's good to mix with green vegetables and the likes. Enjoyed the grocery shopping. Nice place.

Let me start with the positive. Btrust is well stocked!! Fresh ground provisions you'll find. It is my go-to place for picnic shoulder ham. However, as an English speaker, i find customer service was poor. No one understood or tried to resolve my query. One staff member has to speak English in any business in Toronto. Hope you are working on this.

I work here and i think it's a good place to visit if you want wide range of variety pf vegetable and other stuffs including chinese items.

Selection is excellent 5 stars. Price and quality is OK. No better than elsewhere. Saw green grapes at a great price but upon inspection they were small. Had these before and found them sour. Bought oranges that turned out to have little flavour, like most supermarkets. Usually you get what you pay for. Staff were pleasant. Nothing exceptional here except the selection.

Never had an issue with Btrust. Produce is fresh and displayed well. Enjoy their meat counter too. Will keep shopping there.

I have been here many times and never have I felt so bad as today. I met a woman with short hair , she look thin and tall working at HOT FOOD this morning. she discriminated against us, i am sock with her attitude. Very bad experience here.

Be wary of prices as they would not say in their label they are selling item per pound or per piece. Old lady before me was asked to pay 38.0 for almost a pound of honeycomb. Clearance fruit by the door is very deceptive too marking it a cheaper price then in counter would be per pound. Bought stuff, checked out then headed out i saw something in clearance rack outside. Went back in. Payed for it, then was chased by the cashier made me take all the stuff i bought in the counter and asked for receipt. Showed her receipt and walked away. Will never be back here. Reading reviews now it makes sense. Im not even black.

Prices are affordable in general. Do not expect friendly service. I put because its accessible for commuters. Rather than that the place is only to buy low price Asian stuff.

Very rude employee. Especially the old women in the live fish section. After weighing the salmon she threw the fish to my mom. Fow what reason, we do not know. So stupid. If i can only throw the fish back to her face i will do it. Thanks Goodness we are civilized people. Unlike this chinese woman. Employees like this should not be working in this store. Happened today June 17, 2022 at around 5 pm.

I know the ready-to-eat crab and lobster is made from previously frozen crab and lobster but it is utterly horrible and disgusting...seems like it's been frozen for a very long time b4 preparing...inside was completely dried out and hard. Does this place not care if people get sick and what they serve. BTrust please do a freezer check and/or tell your supplier that they're giving extremely old products (if this is newer stock). Please check what you sell/serve. I have bought frozen crab b4 and made it myself - the meat was still nice and flaky...not like what you serve.
