I brought my kid in today. I was given #27 and was told to wait outside. As you can't see the # from outside, I went in twice to check whether it's my turn. The 2nd time I went in it showed #26 and I was still told to wait outside. When I saw another patient came out I went in and see #27 and was put in a waiting room. However I saw #28 was already in one waiting room (there are 2 entrances). After waiting for a while I was told to change to another waiting room. I asked the receptionist why #28 was arranged ahead of me. She was very impatient, shouted at me: bcz you missed your turn! We are busy, it's ok as long as you are treated! I don't have time to argue with you! And slammed the door! After seeing the doctor, I told her, it's very rude to behave like that and I will make a complaint! She shouted again: you don't come to the clinic! And pointing to a sign on the reception desk: something stating no insulting the staff. I understand the clinic is busy, the staff are to be respected, which I believe most patients are respectable as well, as they just want to have their kids treated and no one wants to make trouble. However, it's absolutely unprofessional or even abnormal for the staff to treat patients such rude, while the patients can't even ask questions! I don't know where we could make a complaint, except to comment here. I see many negative comments on this clinic. There should be a channel to have this voiced and improved.

I don't want to give this place even a single star. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They showed zero empathy toward children and seemed to have no idea how to run a children's walk-in clinic. The receptionist, who was working on Sunday, September 10 the lady looks around 40, was exceptionally rude. She is not a doctor or nurse, yet she attempted to diagnose my son's reason for the visit and refused to let us see a doctor. Furthermore, before I joined the line, I kindly asked her if I was in the right place to come. She didn't even want to hear my story and instructed me to get in line. After waiting in line for 40 minutes, she informed me that this was not the appropriate place to address my son's problem and telling me to go to the different walk in clinic or ER (she take this urgent situation as a joke) I was very upset, which is why I had wanted to communicate with her before joining the line. I understand how busy she may be, and it may not be her job, but when she is being paid to deal with patients, she should be more professional and patient herself. Her behavior was absolutely rude and impatient. I can't believe people are working in a children's clinic without any empathy and without even communicating with parents. When parents bring their children to the clinic, they are going through a tough time and need help. I am extremely disappointed.

Unprofessional doctor and rude staff!!!!!!! My daughter has pulmonary history, had pneumonia many times in a short period. Every time since when she cough badly with a light temperature her pediatrician will order X-ray to detect pneumonia. This time she's have a bad cough and light fever for over 5 days with dizziness. I tested her everyday, she's not Covid, I'm afraid she's having anyother period of pneumonia. Her pediatrician is on vacation this week, so I took her to this Children after hour clinic. The doctor came in asked my daughter to take of her top for exam, she's 10 years old not a baby, I felt very inappropriate! She asked my daughter what's her symptoms. When my daughter told her "I felt very weak and my head is dizzy". My daughter has lots of energy, however, she took 2 naps everyday for the past 5days. The doctor asked her :"what do you mean by dizzy?" She said:" my head is dizzy and I felt I want to throw up." I told the doctor her medical history, and asked this doctor if she could follow her medical plan and help us to order a chest X-ray and send the result to her pediatrician's office for follow up. She was very unpaiteint and said to me:" I told you I don't see anything wrong with her, she's not throwing up. I can't order an X-ray, I'm not a physician, talk to your pediatrician when she's available." And the other staff came at the same time and said to me angryly:" Mom, look, we are every busy place, our doctor told you she is fine, you can call your family doctor for follow up." I was so shocked! Turns out the Doctor there is not a Physician! What kind of people working there and checking the children when the parents needed? I only followed her pediatrician's medical plan to ask for an chest X-ray based on her history! I have to give it a one star to get my review posted to save other parents time!!!!!!

I would like to give NO star if I could. My son was sick for over one week. We visited this place on Saturday noon and Doctor told me my son did NOT have pneumonia for sure after 2 minutes body check. He told me just need to give him Tylenol to control the fever and don’t need to worry about at all. But my son was not getting better. Then we went to hospital on Monday noon. My son was diagnosed over 60% of left lung had pneumonia and 20% had pleural effusion and that means the whole left lung was not functioning properly. I don’t believe this situation can be developed just in two days even though I am not a doctor. So I won’t visit this place again or recommend to anyone else. Lucky I sent my son to hospital in time otherwise I will hate myself forever. I am writing this at hospital because my son is going to be here for treatment. This is nothing personal, I just want to share something experience with all parents. Update: my son was in the SickKids for two weeks and he had to get chest tube to get the fluid out of the chest. He is getting better and better now.

I would never visit this place again. 😔 waiting wasn't the problem. The worker at the front office was horrible. She is not a pleasant person to begin with. She does not provide good customer service. This was my first time and my husband's 2nd time. If you are frustrated with your own life's problems or from seeing too many patients in a day; do not take it out on others/clients. Clients are the reason you're there or why the business is opened. I came inside and was told, only one parent is allowed, which I have absolutely no problem... subsequently, being told... I decided to wait on my husband to give me the keys for the car so I could leave; mind you, this is not a small area, it is a big open area, with one other patient approaching the exit- only to have this woman getting frustrated with us... and in a condescending arrogant manner, telling me I have to leave. Keep in mind, I was there for less than 3mins I told her my husband is in the room with the baby, hence, the reason I was waiting. Her reaction was atrocious, she showed no respect towards me, she was very rude. You need to be trained and stop working only for money but actually show some pride in your work and show that you care about others. It's not what you do for people, is how you make them feel, that counts. I will never forget this experience. This is the reason for my 1 star. Receiving health care is not free, it's paid for by the taxes I pay/contribute.

We’ve been to this location a couple of times and service is consistently good. The receptionist could be friendlier but is efficient. A bit of a wait but nothing compared to a regular walk-in, and when you are waiting with a kid time s the ms to go so slow. The doctors have been courteous and straight to the point. They have public washrooms and a family room. There’s free parking all around this mini-mall.

Clinic closes at 8:45. I showed up at 7:45 and was told “I cannot show up last minute and expect to be seen”. There was no one else in the waiting area so I respectfully asked if she can try to fit me. I was then told that if I want a spot then I have to show up 2 hours before closing and that’s when they fill up. They are opened from 5:45-8:45. So after 6:45, they dont take anymore patients…. Doesn’t make any sense. In that case, they should just advertise hours as 5:45-6:45 and not make poor sick kids make the trip there for nothing.

Took my child to the clinic yesterday. The wait was about 30 minutes, not too bad. The reason why I'm giving it a 5-star rating is because both the doctor and receptionist were exceptionally helpful and caring. We visited the clinic due to an ear infection, but the doctor also noticed that my daughter had a lot of acne. He took his time to prescribe and explain the acne medication as well. The receptionist was also incredibly helpful. She advised us to quickly go to the pharmacy next door because they were closing soon, to check if the medication for the ear infection was in stock. As expected, it wasn't available, so when I returned to the clinic, the receptionist requested the doctor to update our prescription to an alternative, ensuring that my daughter could receive the medication for her ear as soon as possible.

The most irresponsible and ignorant receptionist. I was waiting there with my sick baby for almost 45 minutes. She didn’t even say we should register first. Just kept mentioning that everyone should wait outside! When I got in to see what is happening and why no body is calling us, she responded to me with a very bad manner that “ we cannot see you because the clinic is closed !!!” On a Sunday that you have not too many options to take care of your kids health , that was very unacceptable

We visited this clinic recently after my 7 year old son was complaining about ear pain. The doctor prescribed drops for an outer ear infection. After a few doses with my son's ear pain worsening, we returned to the clinic before their closing time posted online. We arrived at the clinic at 8:20pm. My son was in pain and crying. The receptionist indicated that they were closed and I was confused since it clearly states that they close at 8:45pm. I questioned this and she said that they accept patients up to 1 hour before closing. I asked where this is stated and she didn't respond. I explained the situation and said we came here yesterday, it's worse today and begged her to put him on the list and she said no. Instead she told me to go to the ER at NYGH. I would like to point out that we are in one of the biggest healthcare crisis right now with staff shortages everywhere and extremely long wait times. From what I understand senior medical officials in Ontario are depending and relying on community clinics such as this one to step it up and handle cases that don't need to be referred to the ER. The receptionist sent me to the ER at NYGH for AN EAR INFECTION. It would have taken the doctor less than 5 mins to look into my son's ear and see that it was now a middle ear infection and required an oral antibiotic. This clinic needs to either update the hours posted online so people understand their unspoken rules because they are falsely advertising that they close at 8:45pm on a weekday. I also think there is a certain level of judgement that should be exercised and in this case this was not done. Shame on them for sending a parent to the ER at a busy hospital with a young child crying in pain for such a simple diagnosis. The hospital does not have time for ear infections. When I told the attending physician at the hospital what happened he could not believe it.

I visited this clinic twice this week. The 1st time I went was bcs my newborn of 5 weeks had a weird rash on his upper body. He was seen fairly quickly as [they said] 'he is a newborn.' The Dr that saw him was a bit cold and rushed, but did do a thorough check up. Thank you. The 2nd time I went was bcs my newborn showed symptoms of a fever this time. When I got there the receptionist said they were closing and not taking more patients. I told her what was wrong and asked her for advice on where to take him. She asked how many days he'd had the fever, to which I answered 1 day...she was like, "oh, then you can come back tomorrow evening when we reopen, if he still has it." I was like, "huh?" Weird response!... Very busy clinic. There is free parking. The clinic itself is a bit shabby and in need of a renovation. I also saw a couple of ants in the examination room as I waited to be seen at our 1st visit. Overall okay, and I appreciate having access to Pediatric care as such.

Don't come here. Waste of time. I still remember when I brought my infant here 3 years ago and this place still makes my blood boil when I think of the poor treatment from the receptionists and doctor. It's like the receptionists have never worked in a healthcare setting before. Zero understanding of patient care and triaging. You are better off using Dr. Google. This place still should be shut down. You will come here and they will treat you as if you are wasting their time. What is this place? A black market of medical care? Do we owe them money or something? TRASH. I can see from the recent comments this hasn't changed. Came here because I think it's important for first time parents to know that you aren't crazy for seeking out medical care for you child no matter what concern it may be.

I’ve been here twice and so far the doctor’s I’ve encountered are very nice and professional.BUT this evening there is one lady I don’t know if she is a nurse or a cleaner she was so RUDE and so impatient. We were seen by the doctor so I ask my sister to come inside to help me dress my baby because she keeps crying and it only took us 5mins to finish because we need to bundle her up. But she told us ‘ quick quick there is a line up’. First of all I do understand to make it quick so other patient will be cater, but can’t you see?were trying our best to make it fast and what line up your talking? There are 2 doctors on the floor and 5patients in the cue. Why are you in a hurry?its only 7:15pm.all she did was sitting down beside the receptionist and will clean the room each patient leaves. As if she is running a code. This kind of worker should not be hire, they will just ruin the reputation of the clinic. And think of it you are working a children’s clinic if you dont have patient or your not happy at your work resign and give that position to the one who deserve it.

Try to avoid this place at all costs. This place is extremely unprofessional. Doctor is busy flirting with secretary and just pushes you out quickly so he can get back to chatting. Brought my young daughter here for a throat infection doctor lacted the time of day to conduct a proper inspection of the patient. Sent us home with not even advice said theres nothing wrong... 24 hours later we end up in the emergency room at sick kids. Please revoke this persons license he emotionally not qualified for this job. This clinic is a joke.

Never in my life I had such a bad experience with a pediatrician! Not only he barely said hello to me, he completely ignored my 3 year old! Did not say hello, did not introduce himself, didn’t explain a single thing. He actually traumatized my child by this is exam, the kid started to afraid of doctors after this visit-something we never had an issue with. If you care about your child, find ANY other clinic. A vet would probably do better. Do not do my mistake

Don't bother coming here, the male doc is super impatient, rough, and impolite to even kids. Eventually ended up in Sick kids anyways. Receptionists are sometimes rude, but that is typical for medical offices in Canada, as they know you probably have no where else to go, its sad some people often abuse the little power they think they have over others

Terrible experience. Doctor completely dismissed anything he was told about child's symptoms including super high fever and throat pain, and said go home and take lots of fluids. Kid ended up being Covid-positive and high-risk so needed antiviral meds urgently. Honestly, don't go here if it's anything even remotely serious, just go to the ER.

Called 45 min prior to close. Advised of my child’s ear Infection I said I’d be there in 22 minutes. She advised as long as i arrive before 1:30 (they close at 1:45pm on a Saturday) it would be better. I arrived to a locked door at 1:27pm. Proceeded to knock and peer inside as they ignored me. Clearly they weren’t taking anymore patients which is fine but had I been advised otherwise over the phone and I could’ve made it to another afterhours child clinic that closes 2:00pm. Highly irritated! Extremely disappointed.

We had a good experience. Arrived 15 minutes before opening and were brought right into an exam room when they opened. Waited maybe 10 minutes to see the doctor and were sent home with a prescription we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing i would say is the doctor didn't give us much time, he didn't even come fully in the room and diagnosed my son with Pink Eye when I'm not 100% confident it was Pink Eye, but just an eye infection. Otherwise, a good experience, I will definitely go back.

Horrible horrible clinic, dont bother going because they always have a sign that they are closed one hour before closing. This is the 3nd time I have visited this clinic and same thing all the time. And they don't even pick up the phone to say not accepting any more patients or have a message on their phone system when patients call. It's a children's clinic who doesn't provide any child patient care whatsoever. They might as well be closed than offering fake service and horrible patient care. The secretary is so rude saying we are busy and can't pick up the phone, and she is sitting on her desk and looking at her cell phone. Horrible service and so rude.

Great experience during Covid times. FTM and my baby got a fever. I called 10 min before arriving. Receptionist was nice and took us in right away. Doctor checked thoroughly. Doctor followed up next 2 days by calling us at home to make sure baby was better. Glad I came here despite their low Google rating. Rating should improve if clinic keeps up this level of service.

I took my child yesterday night as I'm working the day, doctor checked him on 1 min and gave me this prescription, drops for his eyes. I could not buy it as he did not mention his licence number. After looking for opend shooperdrugs, I have been told they can not process without Lic# and I have to wait until they will open today 5h30. They do not answer phone call as well. I'm working and I have to take my son to the day care.but he waist my time. My advise take appointment with ur family doctor or go the emergency.

I'm very thankful for the care that the doctor provided. I was number #13 and waited for a total of 1.5 hours. Not bad given that it's a walk-in. If you come via transit, it's not great when you have sick kids because there aren't many seats available outside to wait. You are expected to wait in your car. It's unfortunate that you can't see your number either unless you are at reception. It would be nice if they text you that it's your turn, especially when you can't wait in the reception area. The doctor was fantastic and very quick.

Terrible!!just terrible. Took my 3 year old for a uti. Was given no time of day.sent me to the bathroom to get a urine sample and was just told to wait near the receptionist desk as there is no waiting room. Didnt even put us back into a room. The doctor Came just to talk to me in the front and me to take antibiotics if she has a fever and they will call me with results Friday . I turned to the doctor “you never checked her temperature and I think she has one.” He just looks at me and walks into another patient room and closes the door. As I’m leaving receptionist tells me no one will call me if it comes back negative, even though they just told me to take it until they call me Friday. No time of day for any question or concerns. Absolutely horrible. Won’t be going back here.

My daughter was vomiting with a fever and with a bad cold. Placed like this should not even be open. These are not health care providers but greedy doctors and nurses just taking the money of the peovince left, right and centre even after all the improvements in salary that they get from my tax dollars

Dr. Govan took us in, was incredibly professional and caring with our daughter, did the test, explained everything to her clearly and we were out within 20 minutes. Amazing experience. Thanks again!

The female doctor that works there seems very incompetent, does not actually check the child and just gives a diagnosis based on a series of questions. I have made the mistake of taking both my kids due to fever, don’t bother, just go to your nearest emergency room. I took my 10 month old due to fever, she did not check the mouth nor the ears. She also works so fast she just seems like she doesn’t enjoy her job and doesn’t like being there, she speaks so quickly you have to ask her to repeat things. I will be getting her name and filing a report with the Ontario College of physicians, because it’s genuinely ridiculous to have to put up with doctors like her.

We've been to this location two times during the covid time. The receptionist Cynthia was very nice, only wait for 10 minutes before seeing doctor. I left the doctor notes for my kid, and she called us back to make sure we pick it up even it's almost close time. Dr. Gubbay is the best pediatrician. He is very knowledgeable and responsible. He checked thoroughly, and follow up next two days to make sure baby was better.

If you go early, wait time will be less. My little one had congestion and cold, doctor checked lungs, ears and diagnosed as ear infection with congestion. Satisfied with doctor. Due to covid they will ask us to wait in the mall lobby but they eill come out and call the names when your number comes.

Terrible. Never bring your kid here. I brought my 4 year old in the clinic with high grade fever and severe sore throat and pain.kid was unable to swallow anything. The jokers didn’t check the temperature at least. Doctor was in too hurry and told me it’s viral and give advil and tylenol. and there was no proscription for that. I’m not a doctor to know the dosage. There is no swab test to confirm which virus. They just wanna make a 1000 consultation a day and make money. No treatment Better go to any pharmacy and ask any pharmacist for medicine

Care and service are highly dependent on the physician that is seeing your child. Had one experience where my child was seen and fast tracked to the pediatric unit of a nearby hospital, where they went further testing. Kudos to the pediatrician on service at that time as it sped up our child's diagnosis and treatment. More recently, had another physician see my child and he did not provide care that was as per known guidelines with respect to sample collection, or even temperature measurement. Specifically, an infrared thermometer should not be used for babies. They didn't even bother with a tympanic (in ear) assessment, never mind an axillary or rectal temperature. Accurate assessments are critical to a timely and accurate diagnosis, and related treatment. I subsequently had to go to two different hospitals, and my child's regular pediatrician to get a bacterial and viral infection diagnosed.

This clinic was so helpful when our paediatrician was away. Dr. Blair was kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable. She answered my questions and was patient and thorough. She gave great advice for my sick child. However, the office assistant was incredibly rude in her demeanor and in our conversation. All things considered, I'd go back because of the good care my daughter received from the doctor.

😠 I don’t understand where the good reviews are coming from. The staff overbooks and don’t respect the order of the actual booking. I had an appointment for 5, and ended up being called for the examination at around 7:30. The staff was calling people who arrived late first, and did not respect my orig...

I came and I immediately felt good energy just from looking around since it was very clean and tidy, and I was also greeted warmly by the staff. I went to th...

😠 Do not see Dr.mirza if you go here. She is the worst doctor. Every concern I brought up was dismissed and she was rushing me to go see her next client despite that i had to wait over 2 hours to see her. I went here for a simple skin concern and she didn't even look at my skin. Told me it is nothing...

👍👍 great walk-in clinic that has the process down. super efficient and organized. just walk to the front and give your health card, phone number, and address. note: the receptionist will ask a reason for your visit but you can always say personal if you wish to not answer. just wanted to give this war...
