Dear
Dr.
Shi,
I
visited
your
clinicโs
walk-in
and
have
never
been
so
appalled/confused
by
the
waiting
room
etiquette
and
waiting
time.
From
my
interaction
with
you,
you
seemed
to
care
about
me
as
a
patient
and
did
not
rush
me
through
my
session.
You
seemed
to
want
to
help
with
my
medical
issue
and
looked
a
bit
lost
amidst
the
scurrying
back
and
forth
between
the
different
waiting
rooms
for
your
patients.
Before
seeing
you,
I
waited
for
an
hour.
Never
have
I
had
to
wait
for
that
long
at
a
walk-in
clinic.
Expectations
need
to
be
set
for
walk-in
patients.
Suggest
posting
a
sign
at
reception
to
indicate
how
long
it
would
take
for
walk-in
clinic
patients
to
be
seen
by
the
doctor.
Rooms
need
to
be
distinguished.
At
one
point,
room
#1
appeared
to
be
a
play
room
for
a
child
while
a
different
patient
was
receiving
a
flu
shot
in
there.
It
felt
like
you
were
overwhelmed
and
I
thought
I
could
make
some
โtake-it-or-leave-itโ
suggestions
below
for
improvements
to
your
clinic.
I
will
not
be
returning
again,
but
all
the
best
to
you.
I
had
the
feeling
from
interacting
with
you
that
you
felt
a
bit
stuck
and
may
benefit
from
an
outsiderโs
view
point.
1.
Hire
an
effective
and
highly
organized
office
manager.
Your
reception
staff
need
direction.
2.
Hire
a
walk-in
doctor
while
you
service
patients
who
have
you
as
their
family
doctor.
3.
Reorganize
the
space
of
your
waiting
room
so
seats
are
not
so
cramped
and
waiting
patients
have
some
breathing
room.
4.
Retrain
your
reception
staff
on
client
service.
They
do
not
seem
happy.
They
seem
like
they
are
overwhelmed.
Overwhelmed
staff
cannot
provide
outstanding
client
service
to
patients.
5.
Do
not
take
on
more
patients
than
you
can
handle
for
your
family
doctor
practice
and
your
walk-in.
From
my
experience
and
reading
the
reviews
on
this
page,
you
seem
to
schedule
more
patients
for
time-slots
than
one
doctor
can
handle.
6.
Retrain
your
patients
with
signs
in
English
and
Chinese
regarding
proper
waiting
etiquette
and
respecting
personal
space.
I
had
several
patients
cut
beside/in-front
of
me
while
I
was
waiting
in
line
at
the
reception
desk.
This
was
surprising
to
me
as
it
is
already
a
small
space!
