The Doctor’s here are compassionate and welcoming. My problem is the receptionist asking me to yell my symptoms out loud. Not COOL. I understand they need to update the doctor prior to seeing them but not in such a small office with no privacy. # must I yell that I have an STD for everyone to know? No pt privacy ..🥺🥺

Let me blunt. All they care is about making sales of shoving medication down your throat. Never ever do they ask, what do you do for work?,how is your diet? do you exercise?and so on. All they do is sell mediations. As simple as that. Patients are being processed like they are potatoes on a conveyor belt.

The doctor doesn’t know what he’s doing I had to report him to the school of doctors and physicians. He tried to diagnose me with a fever when I was wearing layers of clothes. I never went there again. I will be featuring them on the worse doctors office in Ontario Vlog series. They really inspired me with their dead office and malpractice. This office deserves 0 stars. Misdiagnosing people at a time like this when I needed approval to return to work. Lol this office is a joke that’s why it’s always empty

It is very sad that some people done have the proper customer service to perform their jobs the right way. Phone etiquette is very vital in a workplace such as this medical office. As soon as you call the line, they not even given you 2 sec to say "hello" before they just rudely say, "oakdale medical hold the line". People can be calling for many different reasons. The proper thing to do is ask if its OK to put you on hold for a few mins. Maybe the client would say OK or I will call back. Situations are different. Don't just slam the hold button on them. With all due respect, the little things matter. Reevaluate yourself.

Would give no stars if possible... Was told a 40min wait at 11:30 and here I am still in the waiting room LITERALLY no 6feet between people because we are packed in here like sardines and the time right now, you ask? 1:38.......... Not to mention the doctor I saw last time says, "35 year old man with a limp? You shouldnt be suffering, you're too young" and they proceed with Xrays and Ultrasounds....one month later, I cannot use my left leg now at all. How much you want to bet i STILL get pushed aside as...let it rest...itll go away 😑

Accommodating staff and friendly doctors. All I had to do was call them to confirm their business hours, show up the same day with my Ontario health card and a secondary ID (Ontario photo ID), and they registered me as their patient. A few minutes after, I was called to see the available doctor. It only took a few minutes for my check-up. They have a parking space, a pharmacy, and other offices/clinics within the same building. You can take any bus just outside the building going to Finch West Subway Station in just maybe 15-20 minutes depending on the traffic. Thank you to the staff who accommodated me even if I arrived 5 minutes before the closing time. Of course, if you are the patient, be polite. 😊

Receptionist woman(Probably Asian origin) working at the front desk should be taught etiquette. The first person who greets people who have health-related problems should be polite in their speech and tone. If she doesn't like her job, she can resign. There are thousands of people out there who would love to do her job.

It was a bad experience. I called the clinic at 9:15 am and was told to come between 9:30 to 10 am. The doctor arrived at 10 am and started seeing the patients at 10:45 am. I didn't understand why they would ask patients to be there hour & a half before doctor starts to see patients. The receptionist was horrendous beyond limit and the doctor didn't seem to know what he was doing. No advice was provided and no appropriate questions were asked about my injury and I was just referred for an x-ray from whom the doctor makes money too because of the referral. When inquiring how long the wait was going to be the receptionist started raising her voice. Please go to any other place even if its a bit further because you would need to wait long anyway and still not be treated appropriately. These guys get paid a lot to see you even if the Healthcare is free in Canada for residents. Be mindful and make the right choice.

I was visiting Toronto and I needed to go to a walk in clinic. I went here and wasn’t even acknowledged until I spoke first. I’m from a different province so I couldn’t use my health card and was told to pay a fee of $60 IN CASH. One of the receptionists took my ID and seemed like she couldn’t even read it asking me all these questions like which line was my address. I also noticed on the file she made that she typed Toronto, ON beside my address even when I clearly said I was from another province and as stated on my ID. The receptionists working were very unprofessional, rude, yawning while speaking to patients, and acting like they owned the place. Their mannerism was clearly not there. On top of that they didn’t even tell the patients a waiting time??? Very disappointed. If you’re going to work at a medical office, get your act straight.

Worse walk-in clinic. I called before arriving to see if appointment can be booked prior and was told no they don't take appointments. Arrived around 12:30 with husband, registered at front desk and it's now 2:48pm and his name hasn't been called. Bare in mind other people are coming and going as if appointments was made and when my husband asked why his name hasn't been called the receptionist rudely stated she's not ready for him yet. Kmt. Will.not be visiting this clinic again.

I initially gave 5 stars because I love the doc, he was nice and efficient. But the second time being there the receptionist is so rude.

Thé clinic closes at 2 pm on Saturday, reached there at 12pm, the receptionist tells me « we’re done for the day » like the heck

I don’t understand how these REFUGEES act like they’ve more rights than Canadians and Permanent Residents. All these Turkish people most of them doesn’t even know how to speak English and know how to communicate properly act like they own the staff of the clinic. Still acting like they’re still in Turkey. Grow up people. The Doctor is a Doctor…. Clinic is not a hospital… know the difference…. It’s a walk-in clinic you expect a waiting time. If you go to emergency how long you will wait there??? Ask yourself.

I came here in advice for the symptoms of anxiety and depression, instead of referring me to any psychologists or therapists. They gave me a paper and ask me to go to the counter, telling me to increase dose whenever the pills “don’t work”. This place loved to drug people for profit not to help you

Asim Hoca is a great family doctor. He really listens and try to help you. I give one star because of the receptionist. She’s rude every time when I’ve been there. When you ask a question she doesn’t want to answer, she just try to get rid of you. I called the clinic today and asked Asim Hoca is working this Saturday or not? She said “No” I called second time after ten mins and asked who’s working tomorrow? She said “Asim Hoca”. She lies to a patient for no reason. She has some problems for sure. But the real question is why do they work with this kind of person?

I have been here many times. My family and I especially prefer this place. The staff is very kind and helpful. Although Turkish patients are rude and unbalanced, I congratulate the doctors and nurses for their patience.

Our family doctor demonstrated poor communication and organizational skills today. When we called a few hours ago, they informed us that they were not accepting walk-ins. However, later on, they told us to bring our child in, but when we arrived, they did not accept us and referred us to another doctor." It is not ethical for our family doctor to accept every new patient. Accepting new patients while having existing ones is not a right approach. Furthermore, it is concerning that despite being my family doctor, you did not provide an appointment for me for a week, which suggests that your actions might be driven by greed for money."

Spent 1.45 hours waiting for walk appt and when Dr. Azim finally saw me, he did not even listen to my issue properly and just recommended a test in 2 minutes , he did not even give me time to ask any follow up question neither did he give me anything for the pain. he spent a total of 3 minutes on me. let's say the test results take 3 days to come back, should I be enduring this pain for the rest of the 3-4 days? highly unprofessional !!! terrible service, terrible and rude doctor and had no sense on how to talk, he did not even said hi after i asked him how he was doing .

I will update this review if my experience improves or gets worse. The receptionist is terrible. If you deal with sick people you shouldn't be rude. Especially not right away. What a disappointment.

I do not know why there are so many bad reviews. I saw Dr. Khaki Hooman for a recurring bacterial infection mostly related to my partner’s hygiene.He listened to me, and even offered to talk to my partner on my behalf. As a woman I am used to being dismissed by male doctors, tested for pregnancy even if I say I am no way to be and treated like issues are solely my fault. The receptionist was tremendously empathetic and offered to let me write down my symptoms as I was embarrassed, and was full of smiles. I was even astounded at the nearby pharmacy staff that were very gentle and kind with me. I have marked this place in my notes as it is one of the least painful walk-in experiences I have had in Toronto.

Dr. Asım is a very good family doctor, but the nurses working in the clinic are extremely bad. They gave me an appointment on a non-appointment day, and when I went to the clinic, they raised their voices at me and said there is no appointment and you will wait. In addition, a woman whom we call from our own language is acting very maliciously. I am extremely uncomfortable with clinical nurses.👎

Great doctor. ( Dr. Hoc) Always listens Doesn’t push you out. Knows what he is doing. I would recommend. Wait time is not long. Staff are very friendly. He see everyone in my family.

Waste of time. Dr Hwayue Liu barely listened to my concerns and simply wanted to hand me a prescription when what I needed is a scan to identify any underlying issues. Utter carelessness and laziness in a health professional is simply sad and unethical.

Don’t waste your time going there, worst walk-in clinic ever. I went because I have been sick for two weeks and the dr. Just said that “Take an Advil”

Terrible service , rude and unprofessional staff ! Not only they are rude , ignorant and disrespectful but also poor communicators , awful customer service and disgusting medical care . This place should be close permanent!

This clinic is busy as hell especially on Saturdays. Most of the patients are refugees, we people who have health card sometimes they cannot accommodate us. I don’t understand people who goes in this clinic doesn’t even speak English and they are in Canada, those refugees acting like they are Canadian who are more privilege than US Canadians sometimes I could see them fighting with the receptionist because they don’t understand each other.

Dr. Asim Hoca Dr. is one of the most dedicated, thorough, and caring doctors I have ever had. I strongly suggest him.

Just Unbelievable, I had a fever 38.5, chest pain, shortness , chill, etc. I came early in the morning at 9 am. They said you gonna wait 2-3 hours. I said, "Okay, and please call me." Also, I came back after 30 min and stayed in the waiting room. After 3 hours completed, I saw people who came like me as a walk-in, and now they are ahead of me. I asked them, and she confused a few minutes and said to me, "You have 4 people ahead of you." 5 - 6 people visit the doctor, and I am still waiting .... She lied again. She put me down on the list because I said, "Please call me when my turn arrives." *** BIG UPDATE *** My unfortunate diagnosis was Pericarditis! Luckily, I didn't have heart failure in the waiting room. I came at 9 am and waited for an empty stomach till 12:30 because they cheated on the waiting list. Again, luckily, on time, I called 911. Yesterday, They did surgery on me. I'm writing this from my ward. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! DON'T PLAY WITH PEOPLE'S LIFE!!!

This place is like other walk in clinic. Doctors and Receptionist are just human being like us. Most people who come in here are RUDE. Most patient who comes in this clinic are RUDE no matter what nationality they are, black, Turkish, etc. People/patient who comes in this clinic are not educated, fighting and yelling with the receptionist as if they are the one who own them. Wake up people they are human being too. If you’re nice to people the. People will be nice with you too. If you are RUDE you expect people will be nice to you??? Wake up! I understand how waiting is very frustrating but how about if you to emergency how long you expect to wait? On Saturdays walk in clinic closes at 2pm, if they have reached their maximum capacity for the day you have to respect that. Anywhere you go it’s the same thing. REFUGEES who just comes in the clinic for Diet form and doesn’t even want to pay after filling up the form. They just want free money. They should get deported. And most refugees has attitude. Go home to your country.

Don't go here. The doctor will very irresponsible. He didn't even hear the symptoms and just gave tests which I had got done already. He gave me a medicine and didn't bother to tell when the dosage or when and how many times I need to take it. Highly irresponsible & total lack of professionalism.
