Galleria only has 4 washing machines in the laundry room and for some reason 7 dryers. There is always one that is out of service. Management take so long to fix it. There is always DOG HAIRS in the washing machines. What if someone has allergies to dogs, what are they supposed to do? These washing machines are not for dogs. Some tenants bring their dogs in the laundry room without putting leash on them. Shouldn’t there be a sign from management regarding this in the laundry room? Security don’t see dogs walking around without a leash? Galleria has the laziest management ever. They are always smoking and drinking coffee outside no wonder nothing gets done in this building. I been trying to get a hold of Brian wall to discuss these issues but he doesn’t not respond…

- I would not recommend anyone to move in here. - Very old building. - Constant sledgehammer noises - No fixed timelines given by management when the rennovation is over. - I was told there would be minor rennovation work when I moved in here. But since day 1, it has been a torture. And there is no end in sight. - I complained to the management, and they promised that they will notify before the demo work starts again, so that I can find myself out for the day, yet, here I am again, posting a review with demo work in the apartment right above me. - When kids run (in my own apartment- on Sunday morning!) the security bangs the door to tell kids not to run. Very thin walls- to summarize.

POOR MANAGEMENT! Facilities are always closed due to construction... They could have done renovations during the lock down but they love to lock them self in their offices... Walking outside my apartment all I see is this trailer park on top of the grass beside the sidewalk. How is this safe walking at night with a trailer parked right there? Have you ever heard about Storage Containers? Or something better than a big trailer behind my window. Thanks! This is Galleria for you....

Good place, lots of amenities, Close to Finch station and Yong street. Perfect view from upper floors. Very good and cooperating staff (Iris and Jade and Erik).

Galleria is my home and I love it. It is unique in many aspects. The staff are warm and welcoming. The maintenance team is experienced and on-time. And the management team is professional and resourceful.

The Fire alarm in your suite is 113 decibels and it goes on for longer than it legally should. I have an investigation happening into the keyholer of the alarm system. The last time it went on for almost 2 hours. Demolition of suites happens for weeks, it's really loud as well. In meetings my colleagues can hear it through my noise canceling earbuds. Everything is old and poorly maintained. There have been 7 different property managers since I've moved in.

Beautiful and well-maintained building with so many amenities like pool, sauna, hot tub, media room, party room, basketball court, garden, playground, BBQ, convenience store, recreation room, and more. Location is awesome and apartments are spacious and renovated nicely. The management/community team is amazing; they are always kind and helpful. Maintenance is quick, efficient, and friendly. You are treated like family at the Galleria. Would highly recommend this residence after being a tenant for 2+ years.

The current management is one of the worst we ever had so far. Elevator was out of service and management did not notify us. I have a small child I had to bring him up with the stairs. I wanted to do laundry and most of the washers and dryers were broken. I tried to contacting them but no one picks up the phone. The management staff are never available to answer your questions. The building has leaks everywhere and nobody is looking after it. The suites have the cheapest and thinnest flooring and paint. Covid-19 has given them a free pass to be lazy and cheap while working from home....

I live everything else in this place but the way the turn on and off AC. We suffered days of heat in the unit when we got into summer and now they turned off the AC without considering people who live in south west facing unit can suffer from sunlight caused heat in the unit. I have all my windows open as well as my fan as you can see it does not help at all!!!!!!

Vickie is a terrible person she discriminates the applicants she chooses to rent to. Prior to us receiving the keys which we were told we would receive in a week, she said my family was a great candidate for the building and had a very good income of money , then the next day she phones us and said she’s throwing out all our paperwork and hung up on me with no reasoning. Terrible management. She will get what she deserves.

POOR MANAGEMENT! Facilities are always closed due to construction... there is always maintenance, bad foundation, it is an old building there is at least one or two fire alarm every month, apart from the scheduled ones for testing, one of the harmless fire alarm outdated systems, that has a very very loud sound, that might cause a damage to your hearing. one of the worst experience I have ever had, and my kids always crying whenever there is a fire alarm, the funny thing is that, it has very thin walls, i can hear people on the next apartment talking !!! I just feel like they are living in my apartment Lol, water leak in the garage area, elevator out of service, sorry this is my experience in here, the only thing I would love is only the location.

This is the worst condo I have ever lived! If there was negative star in google I would give them. No wonder why so many people move out of this condo! If you want to have insomnia please move in to this place! There is constant renovation you won’t be able to sleep in the morning during weekends or weeddays! The waste management truck comes early in the morning and you will definitely hear their noise! Also now they are torturing us by turning off the AC! Just saw the news there is heat wave next week and they have just turned off the AC! I urge everyone not to move to this condo. My father is not feeling well. If he goes to the hospital Bcoz of this heat, I will Sue galleria and Quadreal management! Disgusting management! Beyond horrible!!!!

The place is older now so if you are looking for peace look at another place as there is constant renovations going on now SEVEN DAYS A WEEK which can be nerve wracking when you are at home with nowhere to shelter from it. One manager now gone offered me cheap ear plugs. Due to Covid no party room to rest in so trapped in suites with heavy demolition going on around you quality of life is very poor. Profit comes first. On the plus side we have a new on site manager here : RYAN who seems to have made a small difference in the short time here. I never expect instant answers to all issues but if anyone addresses them and gets back to you thats all one needs. Rarely happens. As I said if its peace and quiet your after look at other places .If you like constant drilling hammering you will like it here, if you love noise from multiple workers this is your place. I must mention the on site maintenance teams of Kyle Asam and Kirk who take care of repairs in a timely manner or get in the pros if its more serious. The only benefit. A few bad actors here think nothing about throwing garbage on floors walk about unmasked and create a poor impression. You get this in all places. Galleria was known as a high end destination back in the day now its just another declining high rise but as said with the advent of a new team in the office Ryan with Meagan and Danijela things can only get better. We hope, Quadreal the current agents are owned by the BC landlords a vast corporation whose aim is to maximize investors profits. Whatever they tell you residents are not the priority profits are. They dont mind people leaving as can let at higher rents but frankly for the area at Finch and Yonge you can find newer places at better rents, We dont pay for utilities under our original lease so we bear with it but the bottom line residents are cash flow for the Landlords. New residents get the big welcome as are generating more income which is an investors dream. Some other resident said why not let all the contractors live in here every day mmm theres an idea.

I have been living here for almost 6 years and have never regretted that I moved here. Here are the best conditions for life. I especially want to note the big space in appartement, amenities and great work of all management and service stuff 💙Always respond to any request, regardless of the amount of work. For example, today the maintenance guys replaced my refrigerator with a brand new one and fixed the faucet in the kitchen. And I'm not talking about the fact that before they installed new kitchen furniture for me 😇 . On my recommendation, two families moved here and they are also very happy. Today I have a brand new refrigerator and I want everyone in Toronto know about it 🤩👍

Whenever I had an issue, they were right on it, fixing things up within hours. They also followed up afterward to make sure everything was back in working condition. I requested the service online through the mobile app The request was fixed in no more than 48 hrs, as it was explained when I submitted the issue. The staff member was very respectful and knowledgeable. I haven't had a complaint after the work had been addressed in all the years I have lived at The Galleria

It's been weeks since the old spanish speaking painter bothered my dog ​​by deliberately banging on our door. According to witnesses, our neighbours, he did it several times and on different days, and one day we caught him, reported this disgusting torture, emailed the manager, but, as before, we got nothing, as ever, nothing on any of our problems. Very poor management, those who have written comments in favour of Galleria are certainly friends or family members of the owner. In the office, they don't see us all as humans, but just as tenants, someone there is very good at deleting comments he doesn't like! I have a few screenshots proving that he deleted my comments after he replied to me. (( My dog ​​deserves an apology if that old painter isn't a coward, definitely he is)).

I moved to the Galleria recently and quite like it. The building management is professional, the team is welcoming and they even gave me a welcome gift when I moved in. Most of all though, the building is clean and quiet and the apartment layout is very livable. I am quite looking forward for the upcoming window replacement for improved insulation and so I can see the beautiful view more clearly. Its a great place to work - good job Galleria team.

I have lived here for many years and have always had prompt, courteous service, clean hallways and garbage rooms, and friendly, understanding, helpful staff to handle all my requests. The buildings are well maintained, and any maintenance problems are addressed in quick decisive order.

I've only just moved in to my absolutely lovely newly renovated 2-bedroom suite here, but I have had such a wonderful experience so far. The leasing agent (Vicky) was so helpful in accommodating my tight schedule, responding so quickly to all of my many questions, and just being all around helpful and so nice, that it took away so much of the stress that normally comes with apartment hunting. It is also a major plus that the building is pet-friendly, since that was a major concern for me.

We have moved in a few months ago to a renovated unit. The unit is great! Large with lots of light and in really good conditions. We have asked for a few minor fixes and the maintenance team was great and very responsive. They are in the process of renovating units / windows and that can create some inconvenience with the noise. On the other hand, administration is usually really good at letting us know ahead of time so we can plan around it.

3 months in and the main thing I would caution is if you want to hang something religious prayer based that you will be a victim of a hate crime. I've been the victim of it 3 times already. This building has no real security monitoring ppl coming in and out of the building, no sign in sheet and most importantly no cameras in the hallways Kinda frustrating to pay 3k a month and experience being the victim of hate as many times as months you've lived here This is happening Just off of Yonge st, cant say "oh its thorncliffe, its like that out there" Apparently hate crimes are only a priority if it happens to certain demographics

My sink was broken and the new person came and fixed it. His name was aldo I believe and he did a fantastic job. Not to mention he went above and beyond by cleaning the place up before and after he did his work. Thank you

The Galleria Apartments has been home to me 3 years ago for about 6 years. Management, amenities and living condition were great. We lived comfortably at this place. If it not for work relocation, we would have been at this place till now. I visit my sister sometimes who is still living there and I saw lots of improvements. Great place to live!
