It's starting to become rare to find toy stores that sell well- Toys! instead of purely electronic and computer stuff. Mastermind is one of them and hopefully it continues to survive. It's staff knows toys and provides good service to customers. They got the old school stuff like Lego, puzzles, board games, scooters, pranks, and even carry some hard to find candy to round it all off.

Really good place to find every think for your kids...

Unfortunate, staff seem to be completely indifferent to customer service at the Bayview Village location. Regular shopper at both the Markham and Richmond Hill location where they have always been amazing and courteous to deal with. This includes a mixup where the wrong bag was placed in our car with the Richmond Hill location however they immediately resolved and it ended as a positive. if an item is required from the Bayview Village location, I would recommend having it delivered so as to not have to interact with staff here, or definitely select other locations to pick up from.

Wow store for children toys ! All the best and awesome toys available. They had a good deal of 20% for puzzles. So got some puzzle games for my nephew. The customer service is excellent and very kind staffs. Extremely friendly and sweet owner Debra. Also other staffs Adam, Grace and Audrey are very helpful too. The good thing is that they wrap up things if we need to gift it. Their wrappers are too good and also they let us pick the wrapper to our choice which is a nice thing. Totally awesome day because of their service and had fun. Will visit again :-)

Worst experience ever! Do not expect any customer service when you shop here. It took me a long time in the line and the cashiers were scanning an item per hour, not paying attention to the crowded line up! When I asked for wrapping, I had to wait much extra, cause they were wrapping as slow as possible, so I asked for the wrapping paper and they said that it is their policy not to give out any wrapping papers! Then I talked to their supervisor and found out that there was no such policy. The supervisor asked the cashier to give me the wrapping paper so that I can wrap my gift by myself, though the cashier still had doubt and took some time to decide that they can do it. So frustrating! I was in a rush, and they were the most not understanding people I had ever seen! Trying their best not to help. Cashiers were like they had no limitations to slow down their process.

First time visited this shop and surprised to find all the variety of toys, books and collectables. They have plenty of pop-its and latest toys. Staff are friendly and helpful in finding the toys.

Ordering on line was easy. Pickup was botched. Wrong order placed in car, after id checked. Which is a total farce. Some half arsed apology from the manager. Not impressed.

This store is for kids toy industry. But!!! They don’t offer candy cookies for Halloween. What a silly business!!!! Avoid to buy products from here. Go check with Amazon. Amazon always way cheaper or less expensive than this store!!!

Good customer service. Limited collection. Recommend to increase LEGO collections. Expensive compare to other toy stores.

Mastermind been providing unique toys for my two children. Now that they grown up we visit less than before. Surprisingly they have new Hotwheels stock when visiting today. Huge shout out to Liam going above and beyond to support my purchase. Now I'm going home happy like a little kid. Thanks Mastermind (and Liam of course).

Toys ranging from age 0 to 15 ish. Great place to take your kids but difficult to get them out.

Very helpful staff. They were efficient with gift wrapping. There was a line but they wrapped people's gifts quickly and nicely. They were happy to wrap.

I bought a gift for my friend's daughter, snd at the cashier I asked if it is returnable or not, and they said I could return it if I have the receipt. A week after thar i wanted to retirn the good they did not accept and told me we have changed our policy six days ago!!!! Unblievable, they should have told me when i bought my gift ....

Very friendly service received by the young girl. She seemed to be training 2 guys.

They are a well stocked store. A good variety of toys, stuffed animals, games, crafts and books. I found some good deals on small gadgets to keep a 4yr old interested in science and the mechanics of how things work. I compared prices against Amazon.ca and they are very close, for the items I selected. I bought 2 small gadgets: magnet rover and mini volcano for my little nephew. Very clean and organized store.

A bit tight in store, especially if you have a stroller which is prob common since it's a toy store 😆 but nice location

The staff were all in the middle area chatting. I ended up helping a customer who had a question. The store was busy but clean.

Not returning! I was interested in buying hand paint, so searched on line yesterday and saw that can get the same item by Crayola through my Amazon Prime or get it at Mastermind. I mad an intentional decision to support a local business. I came in. Picked a box priced at 7.98, at the cashier I paid, but while scanning my card I realize that I am being overcharged. I asked the clerk how she came about to charge me 8.99. She tried to dismiss my question. But since I insioshe called the supervisor. They let me aait for 10 minutes, the guy came over. Had a bland don't and reprocessed the checkout and practically through the receipt army face. I madsapoint that I expected apology. But he kept looking behind me. I found it extremely rude. Next time I amusing Amazon.

I just wanted to say thank you to the new store manager (Lidia OR Lindia). I purchased a gift for a baby from another location, but went to this location with baby's mom to exchange the gift as she already bought exactly the same toy for her son. But I didn't have the receipt with me and they were not able to find it in their system. Lidia went above and beyond to help us. She called the location I had shopping from and they emailed her the receipt and .... . Long story short, she was very professional and helpful with great customer service. I needed to share my best mastermind shopping experience with everyone. Thank you Lidia!

Cool toys! Lots to see and choose from for kids.

Today I was there to return a toy , I bought it 2 month ago ( worth to mention that the store are open 10 days ago and the patio are open 3 weeks ago), they told me, very impolitely and rudely we can not take it back as we were accepting the return from 2 months ago!!! they told me I have to return the product during the stay-at-home-order. so sorry for the Mastermind! that they force people to go during the pandemic for return!!!! so it is against the law in Ontario that only necessary things should be done during the lockdown and of course return of toy is not necessary! also are these staff live in Toronto?!! they even don't know the date of the opening of the Patio or the lock down or even general rules of return that the government issued!!!! to me it is only a scam they are forcing people to not return the money. BTW I go to another store from MasterMind and they very politely return the product! The Guys in this store was very impolite and waste my time. so sorry for this store management and the customer service of the Mastermind!!!!

Been going here for 8 yrs. Good choice of puzzles, sleeping bags,poppits,rocks,toys for kiddos.bit tight aisles.. Kids like coming.
