Went there last Friday for the Ontario reopening. We arrived before 6.30pm and the outdoor tents were packed. Nice friendly atmosphere. They had repainted the patio bar and fence ( since before Covid) in a classy Caribbean vacation blue and the place just looks dope. We stayed till midnight and stuffed our faces. The food was still as good as ever! We had lechón, palabok, kare kare and bangus sisig. So amazing. We were singing and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Too bad the karaoke wasn't open till there's indoor dining again. But we'll be back in no time. 🙂

One thing I love is a mom and pops eatery. This here is definetly that. Your quaint LLBO bar, and how can you forget the fun of Karaoke. We didn't go to sing, but that would be a fun family fun outing. We enjoyed the Pancit Bihon that was made fresh to order and not to mention delicious. As our side meat we had the skewers of pork and chicken BBQ (must order min 3 skewers). The vinegar for the skewers had a little kick and that too was flavourful. won't regret the amount of skewers ordered as everything is made as shareable plates. This is little gem of a restaurant. PS...Tell AJ hi while your there a great energy that you will appreciate. PPS..Tita if your reading this, your food will still always be #1. But, this spot is YUMMY!

First Saturday lunch visit. When you enter, the place looks outdated and needs more lighting, but we realized this is a karaoke bar restaurant so we didn't mind. We ordered the garlic fried rice, lechon kawali, sisig bangus, pancit bihon & chicken mami. Everyone's favorite is the sisig bangus, naubos agad! Very yummy din yung ibang foods. Try the chicken mami! They have free karaoke 🎤 Good customer service. Served us really well 👌 We will definitely be back!

It’s an experience and not the restaurant. Small bar, kind people and good food with a karaoke.

A fun Filipino restaurant where you can sing or enjoy people singing and have good time with your friends and family. Their food surprised me a lot, it was delicious. I was very hesitate to come because i read some bad reviews about the service but to my surprise they were very friendly and caring.

Now this is a hidden gem!! It's a very chill spot. It has a patio that opens late for the last call. Sports on the big screen. But it's really 5 stars for its food and entertainment atmosphere. Service is 5 stars as well. The kitchen is cooked to order. I strongly recommend this place. Sometimes it's not always the fanciest place but the most down to earth

Nothing special. Food is too salty and oily. Aside from being too pricey, they add mandatory 10% service charge (even for takeouts) and 20% tip on the bill. We paid cash, but we're not given the $20 change (so greedy!). For 7 ordinary dishes, we paid almost $300. Customers should not be ripped off and should be given the option to tip!!! We work doubly hard to earn money, and we do not receive tips from anybody! Also, we're not pleased with the customer service & food handling. Sucks! If you want a great dining experience, look for better places around where you can enjoy reasonably-priced good food and satisfactory customer service.

The service is extremely slow. We waited 20 mins to get our orders. Moreover, we waited 50 minutes for just lapaz bachoy. Not worth the wait. The waitress doesn’t know how to deal with customers. She was rude and not accommodating. I think she’s unhappy with her job. Will never go back again. Customer service 0/10 Ambiance 2/10 Food 2/10 (bbq was actually good thus 2 stars but lapaz bachoy 1/10)

Food was pretty amazing. We ordered menudo and chicken skin. The serving was pretty generous but their pricing is more expensive than the other restaurants beside them. The chicken skin is delicious and complements beers. Their customer service is top notch and the server was courteous and helpful. Pretty good experience overall.

Extremely stuck up snotty self centered nasty tude errogamt management. This place was great many many years ago it's not the same at all. Tessy is a very rude ignorant shallow very unprofessional operator always cursing and yelling people off. They are very discrimating with few people I noticed them randomly rejecting people from establishments for Absolutely no reasons given or anything as well. The food has also gone downhill big time and extremely expensive. We go to other pinoy bars now much better much more pleasant staff.

I brought my friends for a birthday event and the owner personally came to our table to join in the celebration despite being extremely busy. Her presence made the celebrant and us feel very special. She may not have stayed the whole night (as there were other guests) with us but those few hours were notable. Her personality is unequalled. Never a dull moment with her and always have an instant /permanent smile. The servers were very attentive and pleasant. When things got delayed because of the line up, (this was the first day of the patio opening) they were apologetic and gave us extra food for the wait. That was a pleasant surprise. Quality of food is as always authentic and brought back memories of Manila days.

If I could put no star at all to leave my review, i will. Waited for 40mins for a lechon kawali we ordered instore for take out and recieved just half of the normal portion we usually get. The prawn crackers are more than the meat itself and the meat was really overcooked to the point that the meat has shrunk and you can’t taste the flavor anymore. We will never order and come back to this restaurant ever again. Save your money and go somewhere else.

WILL NEVER COME BACK! VERY SNEAKY! 👎👎 They didn't give us the receipt to begin with and overcharged us. The waitress just gave us the machine to pay, didnt show us the bill (Yeah and we tipped on top of the tips cause we didnt know). After paying, we asked for the receipt, found that the bill was wrong. One of the dishes we ordered was fried tofu, around $9, but they typed another tofu dish on the bill which was around $17. None of us were familiar with the menu, we went to the cashier to confirm with the waiter, he didn't even looked at the bill and he said it's correct. So we asked the waitress again and she said she wasn't sure (not sure? lol). The kitchen made the right dish, why would it be wrong on the bill! We got refunded at the end, but seriously I WIll NEVER GO BACK!

The food was great although some dishes takes a while to be prepared which is not a problem as it shows that the place serves them freshly cooked. The inside is a bit cramped but perks is you can sing and drink alcohol. While they do have outside tents it is only for dining. For those who wants to sing make sure to come prepared with your song code in hand as the line up is sooooo long(it may not be as long on other days but weekends yes). Food and drink prices: some are priced just right and then there are options that seemed to go beyond that.

I always order here via uber eats sometimes they do some wrong order of mine but i always just ignore it last time they forgot to include my order of rice and last night i order chopsuey and sarabasab. Very disappointed to see this in my order. Where’s the food safety and cleanliness. Management and people on the kitchen should look for this! This is not the first time last time i ordered kare kare and the veggie got some hair i didnt took a picture cus i just said its okay but not again this time. Not worthy for the amount costumer paying

Marcelina’s has always been my go to Filipino restaurant in Toronto. We had a blast last Saturday with friends and family. Not only they serve really good food, they also have great customer service. Staff is friendly, efficient and respectful. Food is top notch and served fresh. No matter what the celebration is, it is always special when we spend it here. And if you go look for Vida, she always serves with a big smile and very friendly. A great place to meet up with friends, feast together, sing together and get drunk together!

Waited 1hr to pick up for take out. Called earlier and said it would be ready in 20 mins but instead waited 1hr to make one dish while other people who came after me got their orders. Very unprofessional and no apology for the wait. This restaurant lacks customer service. House of lechon which is next door has better food and service than this place.

Requested 8 songs from their Karaoke list and they found just one. Nobody was signing Karaoke cause they couldn’t find songs that were listed on their web list. Complete entire joke Karaoke bar. Understand, these songs were listed on their website song list and they still couldn’t find them. It’s a Karaoke bar and nobody sang all night cause they couldn’t play any requests.

We went bar hopping last Friday night, it was my first time at this place and I did enjoy my night out. Service was better than Republika (where we first went to) and karaoke night was more lively. I would recommend this place and will def visit again!

They should make their place smaller so the staff can accommodate customers. We waited for 30 mins to get the menu, almost an hour to wait for someone to take our order but we decided to leave. They won’t accept our order from the bar inside because we were sitting outside. It’s so frustrating. Wasted our time.

We tried a lot of the popular dishes: chicken adobo and pork skewers as well as pancit bihon and it was all really delicious and good portions. There was karaoke and that was really fun and lively. Good prices on beer too. Def recommend if you wanna have some great food and a great time. Because of karaoke it can get a little loud but that's part of the fun

Edit: Apparently they have an automatic service charge, we were not told that at all so we basically double tipped. How greedy! They overcharge you on the bill ‼️ We ordered the chicharon bituka, beef tapa, bopis, lomi, and a bowl of rice good for 3-4 ppl. According to their online menu that should amount to $104 including tax. When we asked for the bill the server only verbally said how much we had to pay, no actual bill, which should’ve been the first red flag. He said our bill was $115, so we paid that plus tip. Anyway, the food isn’t even good. Bopis was malansa, beef tapa tasted more like bistek tagalog, lomi was meh. There are much better Filipino places to go to around Bathurst, ones that serve great tasting food at reasonable prices and they don’t try to trick you with the bill. Will never go back.
