Made a stop at this little joint after seeing it repeatedly on Crash Landing On You. Ordered the large Original chicken for $33 (18-20 pieces of varying sizes) for Ritual pickup and was given a free can of coke and small container of pickled radishes. Chicken was well-seasoned, crispy, and juicy (and carries well even after a 20 minute car ride). Be aware that chicken pieces may be smaller than from other fried chicken restaurants (Jollibee, Popeyes, etc). Good COVID protocols in place and convenient little parking lot, especially considering Yonge St.

Great place to sit down and enjoy Korean fried chicken. The fried chicken was legit hot and crispy. Each bite is like a crispy flavor explosion that makes you wonder why you ever settled for anything less. The fries were very well seasoned. We had to steal some fries from our friend's plate. Hahaha! My friend learned to appreciate tteobokki rosé now. Sweet, spicy and very delicious. Good job chef! You guys know how to serve very good food. Keep it up. Do understand that the layout of the parking is a little odd and limited. Each parking spot is not flat. The parking is free so no worries.

Best korean fried chicken!! We were very impressed with how tender the chicken was, and at the perfect level of seasonings. The fries were very addicting as well. And the servers here are very friendly and helpful! I would visit here again and recommend to others :)

Wow! Really impressed with the quality of their Fried Chicken even though we had very high expectations coming in as we have wanted to try one for a very long time especially after watching the Korean drama. The chicken is extremely juicy and the crispy coating is surprisingly light yet it is still very satisfying to crunch without being heavy or greasy. The fries were also well-prepared and not greasy and very flavorful. Overall an excellent dining experience and our new favourite Fried Chicken!

I was glad when one of the top KFCs opened shops in the GTA. It's not just your average Korean fried chicken. BB.Q here stands for Best of the Best Quality with many shop locations worldwide. Let's start with the Golden Original, an olive oil fried boneless chicken dish that tastes light and crispy with tender meat inside. It seems relatively healthy but not quite as good as the red hot Secret Spicy version! The latter was my favourite, brushed in a sweet spicy sauce made of tomato, garlic and onion, and instantly transports your taste buds to Seoul. Bite a bit and then you know! Menu includes both boneless and bone-in options. This was finger-licking fresh out of the box. Imagine having PhDs researching these perfect flavor combinations; that's supposedly what happens at BB.Q's Chicken University. Be sure to order ahead since each batch is made to order and can take 30 minutes with long lines. I had a good feeling, when the first folks I saw leaving shop were carrying 6 boxes! Each large box has 16-20 pcs, so that's serious love for Korean fried chicken.

A waitress made a big mistake with my order, but this place still gets a 5 STAR, WHY? The waitress owned up to her mistake and offered to make amends. Her sincere apology was all I needed, and I left on a good note to make this review. I wish THE FRY (Cummer location) should a learn a lesson in customer service from this place, I don't recommend going there. BBQ CHICKEN staff are honest and the food here is divine, don't go anywhere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)

I ordered Menbosha - It tastes really good but it's too little compared to its price 🥲 $15+tax for these small 6 pieces.

Kalbi Q chicken and Gangnam Chicken. Not the greatest but not the worst Korean Fried Chicken. The meat itself is tender and nice which I give the stars for but the price and taste I don't know. I know they cannot be exactly like the BB.Q in Korea but it was too different. When I went, they were out of rice so I couldn't order any of meals options.

I loooooove the soy garlic chicken. It smells amazing and tastes so good and is still a bit crunchy even after we waited a bit to eat it. I tried the secret sauce and gangjeong chickens for the first time today, and I think the secret sauce is better. Both are supposed to be sweet and spicy, but actually they weren't spicy at all and the secret sauce one is also a bit sour, like sweet and sour pork. The spicy tteokbokki was way too spicy tho 🥵 it was just 2 chillies compared to the 1 chilli for the above chickens, but it was SO SPICY. For a family of four we got two 2-in-1 boxes and the tteokbokki, and it was way too much food. The boneless chicken pieces are humongous and I think we honestly could've just had one box and the tteokbokki and it would've been fine. I'm not sure if there's a big difference between bone-in and boneless chicken amounts, but for boneless you get a lot. It was definitely pricey tho, but assuming we can eat this over two meals, then it's pretty worth it

Listen, I'm not a fan of hard teeth cracking battered bits, so I usually don't favour the dry recipes, but their signature chicken was so good, I even preferred it over the honey garlic ones. The owner was friendly and asked for our feedback, which is super refreshing to hear him talk about the food and process honestly to us. The oden soup was a tiny bit salty (does have some added flavouring while they determine the best level to use as it is a new dish). I really want to try the whelk one next time.

Amazing fried chicken. Loved the sauce options. There are no dessert options, but they do have deep fried chocolate balls on the appetizer menu which was really good.

I’ve been here so many times but this is the first time I write a review about this place. This is the best Korean fried chicken in North York 🥺 They have so many flavors and my favorite one is cheesling chicken with fries that has cheese powder on it. I also tried Honey Garlic and secret sauce. They are really good 😙

I guarantee that it is the best Korean chicken restaurant in Toronto! not only for chicken but also their side menu made me feel nostalgic... how could I go there only once? I got pretty impressed with their kindness as well.

Ordered the secret spicy and the cheese chicken. It looked soggy when I got home after a long drive here, but it was surprisingly crispy. The cheese chicken was a new flavour for me and I loved it! Although I wish the chicken itself were more flavourful. KFC here in Toronto is quite expensive, I’d try this again during their 30% special.

Got the secret sauces and mala hot chicken, along with crunch prawn sticks. Everything was really good, although mala is mainly just spice and not enough numbing flavour

Ordered on uber eats. I really like this franchise but order from a different location if you want BBQchicken this locations servings are so small compared to other locations. They are charging $18 for ricecake thats the size of kids meal. The ricecake quantity was so small you can count it and its like 12 pieces of korean ricecake for $18?Thats $1.5 per small ricecake? Like one half of the box of chicken looks empty. The only thing that had good a serving portion was the fries. Like I get foods more expensive but I just think its this location - I really don’t mind the price but just disappointed compared to my previous orders. However, the food was good its just the servings size is smaller then other locations ordered. This total came out to like $140 cad

It's really a frustrating experience. I ordered boneless chicken, but what is this? Why is it a box of chicken with bones in? I suspect they gave me someone else's canceled order.
