Bathurst Lawrence Walk-in Clinic

Doctor ā€¢ Walk in clinic

šŸ˜  The receptionists are beyond rude. If they want to be treated with respect and kindness then they should do the same to people seeking help. The clinic website states it is open until 4pm. I walk in at 2:35pm and the receptionist says that they are closed then turns her head away. I state the webs... People often mention doctor, clinic, time, rude, receptionist, people, call, patient, walk, patients,

Iā€™m currently here sitting in a room for the doctor to come back just for a note to be able to go back to work. I fully explained what I needed respectfully and the doctor kept cutting me off and twisting my words around telling me she doesnā€™t recommend me to stay home after having a popped eye blood vessel. Moving forward I shrugged it off. She then tells me she wants to check if thereā€™s anything else wrong, I asked her to confirm if she just said she wanted a physical checkup on me she then gets up from the chair and tells me sheā€™ll come back in 10 minutes for me to ā€œ calm down ā€œ. This whole time less than 5 minutes this doctor has given me attitude and continued to cut me off as I tried to explain my situation. I respectfully asked if sheā€™s having a bad day and she continues to cut me off and give me attitude. Would not recommend. First and last time here. If youā€™re going to see the blonde doctor with glasses just forget it.

This place has the rudest, most disrespectful receptionists I have ever met in my life. I feel so uncomfortable going here because I get treated like a nobody. What's so hard about saying "Hi, how can I help you today?" or even just a hi. The doctors are good but the lady doctor doesn't listen to you which I get that they gotta move fast because it's a walk-in clinic but I can't even get a full sentence out. I found a new place thankfully because it's so hard to find a good doctor/walk-in where they respect you and listen to you. All of the receptionists need an attitude check.

If only I can give more stars, I will do For both receptionist and Dr. Davoodi. Been coming here for years especially during Covid, and I always get the best care from both. He's very professional and always recommended me to do more test to get the best outcome of what I am suffering as a patient. The receptionist always remind me of my appointment and very considerate even if I cancelled short notice. Tried so many walk ins in the GTA and can't find someone who are as caring and respectful as them. Thank you Bathurst & Lawrence Walk-in!!!!

Dr. Davoodi has been our family doctor since 2018. He has been my siblingā€™s, their familiesā€™, and my parentsā€™ family doctor as well. We have been going to him for various conditions and illnesses. His diagnosis has been 100% of the time accurate, correct and fast. He saved my senior dadā€™s life with his fast diagnosis and competent follow-ups. I canā€™t think of any areas that is not in his top areas of expertise. He always listens patiently without interrupting, and explains the details of his diagnosis to a non-expert patient like me very well. I also appreciate how staff, especially Alma, are respectful and kind to everyone including seniors. He is an outstanding knowledgeable and caring doctor. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Do not waste your time. Took my daughter there because she was complaining about ear pain. The doctor examined her and told me she was fine. No need for medicine. 4 hours later my daughter is crying in pain. Took her to see another doctor and learned she actually has a bad ear infection with a slight fever. Go somewhere where there are real doctors that take their job seriously and responsibly.

I visited the walking clinic today and, despite being nervous due to negative reviews but the Filipino receptionist was incredibly nice, kind, and friendly. The patients were a bit rude, also Dr. Olena Trinchuck proved to be a kind and helpful doctor. The only downside was the long waiting lineā€” I had to wait for 3 hours. Overall, a positive experience.

DO. NOT. COME. HERE. IT WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. This is the worst walk-in clinic in the city. The receptionists are unprofessional, and extremely rude. I needed an x-ray for my foot because I thought I broke it. I waited 2 hours to see the Dr. Abedi for 3 seconds. She made it very clear that if the results are clear i will not get a call. I get the x-ray done and I get a call from the receptionists on Saturday of the long weekend telling me I need to come in. I ask her if my foot is broken. They say they can't disclose it. I asked them if I can pick up a copy of the report for my records and to share with my family doctor, they said no. They kept saying you have to come in and the doctor who ordered them needs to read me my results. The doctor won't be in until Tuesday, September 5 so they ruin my weekend thinking the worst case scenario. I get to the clinic and I wait 2 hours for the doctor to tell me I am fine and nothing is wrong with me. They force me to come on a weekday during work to tell me I am okay? This is just so they can bill OHIP for my visit.

RUDEST FEMALE DOCTOR! Dont bother to go there. She is so rude and mean, interrupts everything you say and doesnā€™t prescribe anything even tho you need it and recommends counter top medication. She doesnā€™t know anything about empathy and kindness. Who gave her that diploma?

This clinic provides the worst customer service. The receptionist must hate her job or people in general. Doctors are cold and seem like they hate people too. I wish zero star was an option because this place doesnā€™t even deserve 1 star

This is my second bad experience. I went in for decreased hearing. They tell me it's wax and charge me $15 to squirt water in my ear with a *spray bottle*. Seriously? Not only does it *not help* and the process is painful (not a good sign) but I find out it's against the law to charge OHIP patients for a cleaning when they have decreased hearing and have tried ear drops... *both* of which I told the doctor I did. Now, I can't see my family doctor there because he's decided to go phone calls only, so how am I getting charged for something that's OHIP covered? Before that I had to do blood work and got a worrying phone call that I need to "walk in" as there were no apt available. I anxiously waited 4 hours for a doctor to ask me why I didn't "make an apt" and tell me that my results were fine and they called me as they mistakenly thought I still had to do the test... dumbfounded.

If you can avoid coming here please do! I had come in twice with my child and they indicated they couldn't see anymore patients. I had phoned in twice and they had indicated I can come in before their cut off time. I'm a person with kidney failure and on dialysis and it is crucial for me to see a doctor when I'm not well. They have prohibited myself from that. The front staff is very unprofessional and doesn't seem to understand the concept of treating people fairly. Avoid at all costs! Management you may want to consider hiring new staff.

If I could give less then one star I would. I've waited 2 hours for a doctor only for other patients who came after me get treated first. Anyone who wants to be treated last come to this clinic. I blame the recipient's incompetence for this treatment and lack of care! Looks like I'll be looking for other clinics that actually care about their patients

I went because Iā€™ve had a cold for the past 12 days so thought I should see a doctor about it. I have no Covid symptoms other than a sore throat, which goes along with the cold. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the receptionist didnā€™t even look at me when she spoke. I wasnā€™t entirely sure if she was even talking to me. She finally looked up and told me what to do. I filled out two forms, one for patient information and one for Covid symptoms. There were pens attached to each form, which meant that everyone who came in used these same pens. I checked off ā€œsore throatā€ under Covid symptoms, but checked off ā€œnoā€ for the other seven Covid symptoms. Then she told me to sit down, and didnā€™t offer hand sanitizer. I used my own, because who knows how many germs were on those pens? They also didnā€™t provide new masks, which other doctors and medical centres Iā€™ve been to have done. The receptionist clearly didnā€™t read the forms I gave her, because she sent me back into a room with the doctor. As soon as I told the doctor about my sore throat, she said we had to go speak outside due to Covid risks. The doctor was nice-ish but I didnā€™t even get a chance to tell her all of my cold symptoms because she just asked specific questions (mostly related to Covid) rather than letting me explain my unrelated symptoms. She told me I could buy allergy medication at the pharmacy inside, as thatā€™s what my cold may actually be. When I was inside I heard the receptionist tell the doctor that I had told her I had no symptoms, which was completely a lie, considering I literally wrote on the form I had to fill out the one symptom I had that could potentially be related to Covid. The one good thing was that the doctor gave me a Reactine sample before I purchased anything, so that I didnā€™t have to spend my own money without even knowing if this was a cold or allergies or strep throat or some other bacterial issue. The wait was also not too long, because I would have been much angrier if I had to wait a long time and still got no results. I understand that Covid is serious, but then the receptionist should have done her job in the first place and read the form to inform the doctor before I sat down inside the office. And the doctor should have listened to all of my cold symptoms rather than only asking about those pertaining to Covid-19 or allergies.

I went to the clinic on the holiday Monday with a major ear infection in both ears (practically deaf in my R ear,) sore throat etc. The doctor didnā€™t even examine my ears even after I told him the infections were recurring. He prescribed me antibiotics and my ears were getting worse with each day that I took them. I went to see my GP today and she told me he had prescribed the wrong antibiotics. My ear infections have gotten exponentially worse and now I have to take extra strong antibiotics for 10 days, along with ear drops and an anti inflammatories. I will never go to this clinic again. The doctor seems to have forgotten the Hippocratic oath and the #1 rule of ā€˜do no harm.ā€™

A real dump, dont waste your time coming here . Incredibly rude staff. I suffered so much with my health being in the hands of these people that don't know what they're doing, don't know what they're talking about, can't even treat a patient with basic human decency, can't even do a referal, can't even talk to you with any respect. DO NOT GO HERE, NEVER. AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COST, you will get misdiagnosed or mistreated, or both!

I called this clinic to book an appointment and the lady who I talked on the phone is so rude and hot-tempered. I just asked how long for waiting time. She didn't give me an answer, so I asked her again and she is so hot-tempered, raised her voice up and rude. Poor communication. This lady needs to be trained how to work and communicate nicely in a professional environment. This lady made me give up a visit to this clinic.

Dr. Koshoni is the worst doctor Iā€™ve ever encountered. She is condescending and doesnā€™t listen to her patients. Firstly, I had to go there for a TB test and explained the situation of how I had a false positive before. She interrupts me to say ā€œdonā€™t say your doctor was wrongā€ like doctors are incapable of being wrong?! When we completed the TB test, she failed to indicate it was a negative result so I had to return in order to have a written documentation for an internship. When I needed a medical form filled out, she refused to fill out the information about my vaccines when I had my yellow card and other documentations. She is terrified for liability and wonā€™t do anything she is supposed to or allowed to do. Iā€™ve wasted my time to come back here more times than Iā€™ve needed to for a doctor who is there for a paycheck and thinks she is the best doctor in the city.

If possible, would have given lower than 1 star. This place is the true showcase of the state of Canadian healthcare. Extremely rude reception staff who tap on the "sorry, we're closed" sign even without hearing that we have an appointment. The doctor we have been meeting is mainly there are almost no family doctors accepting new patients. This place is highly unprofessional and please avoid if possible.

Absolutely disgusting practice. Came at 2 oā€™clock on a Saturday when it says open until three with my four-year-old just simply got a requisition for an x-ray. The Russian doctor there said theyā€™re not seeing any more patients and was so rude about it, wouldnā€™t even make an exception for a four-year-old because she wants to go home. Probably was knocked out on her own hip billing for the day what is the actual reason. Rude front desk rude Dr

Awful receptionist and system. They have no sense of what is going on Iā€™m the office, kept looking for patience but patient was sitting in the waiting room the whole time. Nurse does not want to complete blood work told patient you are done you can go wherever. After advising me that my wait was about an hour , I waited for almost two hours and they proceeded to tell me there is STiLL 7 people in front of me cause of appoitments. Thank you for making the patient experience easy and comforting .

Do NOT visit this dump if youā€™re looking for a walk in appointment. They advertise themselves and call themselves a walk-in clinic but are actually a family practise with daily appointments. So if time permits theyā€™ll treat a walk in waiting. Thatā€™s why every review is so low. Theyā€™re not a properly operating walk in. AVOID AT ALL COSTS if youā€™re looking for a walk in. Hospital would be a better option

This is a walk-in clinic. I don't know why there are reviews using the word "customer" for your health. You're here to get help, not health off the shelf. Most negative reviews don't seem to understand how walk-in clinics work, while some don't seem to understand that their ailments should be treated as emergency (go to the hospital) that they think a walk-in would solve. Finally, health care in Canada isn't "free". That changed a long time ago, so get out and vote for the right people, instead of giving 1 doctor a bad rep because you only went to 1 doctor.

This walk in clinic is close to my place and I love the conveyor commuting so I go there anyway. But when I call the office , the receptionists are a little bit aggressive and it looks like they donā€™t like to listen to you at all. They interrupt you with ā€œ as I said ā€œ and repeat themselves. This is a little annoying. Dr Davoodi is the doctor I go there for and he is good. He is calm, polite and knowledgeable. If you are close to the clinic, it worth to go there. But donā€™t drive for this one šŸ˜

I arrived at about 09:30 SUNDAY morning and there were polite and well behaved people ahead of me. 1. The clinic door was opened at about 09:55; 5 minutes early. 2. Checking in and filling out documents at the reception desk was simple and smoothly administered by nice people. 3. After completing the checkin documents I sat in the clean, organized reception area amongst about 10 well behaved people. 4. The lady doctor was polite and efficient. 5. Staff in the pharmacy were very good.

I do not recommend this clinic to anybody. If I could give zero star I would. The receptionist is extremely rude to patients. My bf who has been going there since May called them for a refill. They said they would call him back but they NEVER DID. When we called them to double check, the receptionist was so mean and irritated and said they already called and left a voice mail and if we didnā€™t receive it itā€™s our problem not theirs and hung up the call. The doctor then called him back accusing him for threatening and harassing his staff which he never did and when in fact they are the one who doesnā€™t know how to do their job and LYING to a patient waiting for his medication!!! Then he even had the audacity to say that he will not be treating him anymore!!!! We checked call history even with bell to make sure that the problem is not on our end and bell has confirmed there were NO CALLS OR VOICEMAIL from any of their numbers. If you donā€™t know how to do your job just admit it and apologize. We all make mistakes. But blaming it on a patient seeking mental health medical treatment from you, gaslighting and refusing to help them is absolutely absurd and disgusting. NOBODY DESERVES TO BE TREATED THIS WAY. I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM UNTIL HE GETS AN APOLOGY FROM THE DOCTOR AND THE RECEPTIONIST.

I donā€™t know why there are so many bad reviews. I found both the receptionist and the doctor to be nothing but professional and polite. It is a walk-in clinic so they try to be concise. People must expect to be treated like royalty or something. Frankly, if the Queen Herself expected better treatment than what I received I would think She was being unreasonable. Should they roll out a velvet carpet for you and serve cocktails while youā€™re in the waiting room as well? If you desire that kind of ridiculous treatment please do everyone a favour and just find some desperate and sycophantic family doctor who will pander to you like youā€™re freaking Qin Shi Huang or something.

This clinic refused to see our son in person and instead sent us to Emergency. My son had a fever and we just needed a doctor to physically look into his ears, mouth etcā€¦to make sure he had no serious infections, but because he had a fever we were sent to Emergency where we spent 7 hours. The doctors at NYGH were confused as to why the walk in clinic would send us there for a fever. In the end my sonā€™s ears, chest etcā€¦were fine and we were sent home from the hospital. If the doctor had only seen our son in person today we could have avoided burdening our fragile Emergency Healthcare System and 7 hours of wasted time. Walk -In Clinics need to stop sending people to Emergency rooms for non-emergencies and start seeing patients in-person.

This walk-in clinic was great. The wait time was a little long (about 45 minutes) as they only had one doctor on duty, but even though I was there at the end of the day, I felt listened to, and I feel that I got top quality care without feeling rushed.

Not impressed with this place. My wife went to get her ribs checked, which may have been broken. The staff was adequate and the doctor was able to give her a requisition for an xray across the street. After that, everything fell apart. The staff who dealt with the phone follow-up was rude (2 interactions, both the same) and the doctor discussed the results regarding her lungs! Nothing about her ribs! Now we have to do it all over again, but definitely not here!! Like I said, not impressed!

Disappointed and disgusting service especially from the receptionist ignoring and being plain stupid then acting unprofessional with memory lost of short term. Always repeating myself about simple personal information. The Doctor there was rude and wanted useless document and assumed I had covid well I'm double vaccinated with PFIZER! I'm very surprised how these people got their licenses and profession from out of cereal box or must've paid their way for being demanding and nasty! I would never ever recommended anyone to attend Lawrence and Bathurst walk in clinic otherwise you'll be treated unfairly and very unpleasant. By the way, waiting period is long and unreliable information is waste of your time! Don't bother wasting your precious time on this walk in clinic or else you'll be spending your quality time at the clinic or waiting around for your prescription and having the documentations faxed improper.

So first of all the whole staff is rude and disrespectful toward the patient, I called on july 28th to book an appointment over the phone appointment booked no confirmation what so ever sent out to my email or phone. The day of my appointment comes no one calls me on aug 4th call them back instead of apologizing for not calling me the receptionist straight up calls me a liar me itā€™s my problem not theirs that they called me and left a voicemail and that I have to figure out the rest which I told the doctor but he decided to ignore and him as well calls me a liar The next no apology made.(which by the way I confirm with bell mobility that I never received a call from either the receptionist or the doctor since my first call on july 28 to my latest call on august 4th) this place is bad and doesnā€™t even care about the patient and call the patient straight up liars.I will change my doctor based from this experience wonā€™t recommending to anyone who seeking help save your time go to a clinic that care this place has more 1 star reviews than 5 star another flag to save your time and go someplace else

Rude receptionist who clearly cannot answer a simple question. She got irritated fast when I asked the same question over three times. She hung up on me. Great way to show where the Canadian healthcare system is going. Your job is to answer calls. If you canā€™t answer a question, I donā€™t think youā€™re doing your job right.

There are a lot of bad reviews. Iā€™m giving 5 stars because I had low expectations and this walk-in exceeded them. I arrived just after open. I waitrd for about 20 minutes and then I was seen by a doctor and prescribed what I needed. Nobody was particularly warm (except for the handsome pharmacist) but this clinic fulfilled its mission and i am grateful for that.

Usually I never wright reviews, but this time I must. I went to the clinic on Tuesday because I needed HELP, I am not going to the clinic because I don't have nothing else to do, a lady doctor was there that day, she wasn't helpful, mores precisely she was rude. I was so sick and helpless, expect to get help from someone who is smart and intelligent person, than she turned me away and saying "this is not an emergency"...what kind of a person is this?... what kind of a human being is that?... Imagine how I felt... I was very disappointed. I was looking up on her with respect at the beginning, and trusted her, hopping she's going to help with my problem...but I just had to leave with disappointment and tears in my eyes.

The receptionists are beyond rude. If they want to be treated with respect and kindness then they should do the same to people seeking help. The clinic website states it is open until 4pm. I walk in at 2:35pm and the receptionist says that they are closed then turns her head away. I state the website says you are open until 4pm. The receptionist said did you put your name on the list and I said no as I called without an answer. Turning her head away she said weā€™ve reached capacity. I tried asking her if any others were available as I had been to three at this point and she literally ignored me. As a waiting patient heard, he came out to apologize as he felt bad. The front desk needs a lesson in customer service and appreciation for the type of service they provide and are employed with. People are not feeling their best and seeking help. Compassion should be shown at the very minimum.

This was a Very chaotic experience, the doctor sees so so many people but never is willing to spend time or listen, and also there is very long line up. Even if you need to see the doctor as a family doctorā€¦you still will be treated as a walk in! Money grab walk in clinic, for sure and she is not really concerned about peopleā€™s well being. Only one doctor on the weekend, so if you need to go, make sure you go very early to line up. She was very all over the place when giving me my blood tests results and didnā€™t even seem like she knew what she was talking about and gave me mixed messages along the way, which was very alarming. She was very rude and impatient when hearing my concerns. Felt like my first AND ONLY appointment with her was very rushed as she seemed to be sailing through her patients without no empathy whatsoever. Never had such a terrible experience until I came here. As of right now, she is no longer my family doctor after just one visit with her.
