They have piranhas here! I came here in December to buy piranhas and I was still thinking if I should, one of the staff ladies kept following me around the whole time! I didn't ask her for help and she just kept starring at me with a judging look? She refused to let me take my piranhas home! I came back the next day and a much nicer lady let me buy them. My piranhas are still healthy and big with a much larger tank now. Recently I came back to look around to see what other pets they had, and that same lady who wouldn't let me take my pets home, went up to a cashier pointed at me whispered something to him and he replied "That's her?" I just left the store really mad. I did nothing to deserve such treatment. I just came to buy pets. Absolutely rude manners and uncalled for behaviour. I won't shop here again, I feel really uncomfortable there. Too bad because it was a close pet store for me.

The customer service here is wonderful. I love all the staff but I must admit my favorite pet lover is the lovely woman who works in Tuesdays. I love to bring my dog in when I shop as she gives him lots of pets and attention. We love this PetValu location and thank you for putting your customers first.

I took my dog for grooming and I'm really disappointed, i paid $85+tax for a full service, small dog 8 pounds and this lady literally just shave all her hair off, she didn't listen to my specifications of what I like for my dog, the hair in her ears is uneven, it is full of hair inside her ears and they did not clean her ears or her face, her nails are still really long, im not even sure if she gave her a bath. When I pick her up she was unrecognizable. I notice she was really busy that day but that's no a reason to do such a bad service. First and last time do not recommend at all. Store is clean and nice staff but if you love your dog DO NOT BRING IT TO THIS GROOMER. The groomer is horrible and lacks accountability.

We took our dog to Pet Valu at Crossroads (Weston & 401) for a second grooming. Our first time we were not happy but we did decide to give them another try! On the second grooming our dog was brought out to us with the absolute worst haircut she has ever had! We asked for a trim but was practically shaved down to her skin! Her ears were completely shaved off!! Tears started rolling down my face when I seen her! I was in total shock! I yelled at the groomer and said what did you do to my puppy!! I grabbed my pup out of her hands and proceeded to go pay! The owner at the cash did not ask what was wrong or why I was crying!! We didn’t ask for a fancy Shih Tzus cut! All we wanted was her to have a clean face, and a puppy cut over the rest of her body! In my opinion the female groomer that works at that store is completely incompetent!! The only consolation that we have from the experience is that our dog’s hair will eventually grow out, and that we will never be going back to Pet Value! We will never set foot in that store again! We will also be very happy to tell everyone we can about our experience and to stay as far away from Pet Valu Grooming as possible!!

I brought my dog here to get groomed wasn’t the first but will be the last. The groomer cut my dogs foot,she told me when I went to pick up my dog what had happened and said IF you need to bring her to the vet bring in the bill. The first 2 days she was fine but on the third day, my dog started crying and limping I brought her to the vet and they told me her foot was infected and needed antibiotic. So after leaving the vet, I brought the 443$ bill to the groomer let me mention how she was very rude and unprofessional telling me that it was my fault why my dogs foot got infected and my negligence part as a pet owner Long story short she offered me 100$ LOL I declined! After all that I spoke to the pet value owner and he refunded me the whole $443.

If you love your pet don’t take them at this location for grooming!!! I'm not sure where to begin... I brought my dog here a few days ago, and ever since then, he's been scratching himself constantly, seeming sad and afraid, and sleeping nonstop. … i don’t know what they did to him but he isn’t the same dog I brought in. Also when I got my dog back it didn’t look like they even washed him he smelled nothing like washed and I was charged $96 just for the cut.. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I had Very bad experience

Had my dog groomed this morning and Adrianna was "incredible". She did a fantastic trim on our Murphy, BUT, when I was called to let me know the job was done, I asked the gentleman that called me, what the cost was. He said $120, taxes included !! When I went to pay, he charged me taxes. I said to him, are u the person that called me to let me know that my Pup was ready for pick up ? He said, Yes ! I insisted that he had said, that the cost was $120. His Customer Service "sucked". He was rude. I paid it and left very upset. I don't appreciate people that LIE. If it wasn't for Adrianna, I would never go back. Thank you again Adrianna for the fantastic job u did on our Pup. ps Someone should talk to the gentleman that lied

Groomers at this location do not wash the dogs at all. They charged me $100 for hair cut only of my tiny dog. Absolute rip off with a big smile.

My sister brought our dog in today to get groomed and we got him back with his eyes and behind not cleaned properly and he didn’t smell like he was washed. I payed $96 just for him to get a hair cut clearly. They said they asked my sister if everything was ok as she picked him up, but she stated that they didn’t even ask her that at all. If you guys have good experiences here good for you but I didn’t.

I had a fantastic experience at the Pet Valu doggie wash at Weston Road & Hwy 401. The facility was clean, the equipment was easy to use, and the staff was helpful. The tub is easy on your back, since your dog walks up a few stairs & you don’t have to strain as much. They have a choice of shampoos & conditioner. They have complimentary towels for usage. They have a drying hose to use as well. My dog enjoyed the wash, somewhat, and we left with a clean and happy Sheppard. Highly recommend! Oh yah, after 4 washes the 5th is free. What a bargain. Extra bonus is that your dog receives a treat.

I found what I needed. I didn't find the lady who I'm assuming is the manager very pleasant. Felt like she felt she was doing me a favor by helping me. The younger girl was the same as well. I Definitely will go to another pet valu where they appreciate my business. I find since Covid started people just are not friendly anymore, it's sad

We have been taking our husky for monthly grooming with Adrianna and her team at Groomingdales ,inside of Pet Valu Weston, for almost a year! Our pup absolutely adores her and her team. Her customer service is impeccable and she truly cares for the animals in her care. We tried to bathe our little guy ourselves, what a fiasco! We owe you a big tip next time we see you Adrianna , and think you should raise your prices! Huskies are so dramatic and your services are worth every penny! 5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, tell them Shauna , Rony and Ocean sent you!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I brought my 2 year old Husky in for grooming but she turned out looking great! Adrianna, the groomer must have a great way with dogs because even though my baby girl hates baths and is a drama Queen (typical Husky) she didn’t cry or howl with her. Adriana gave her a nail trim, deshedded her and trimmed her bum and in between her toes. She also made her smell lovely!

I highly recommend Adriana's grooming services to anyone looking for a skilled and caring groomer. Her professionalism, expertise, and kindness towards my dog were greatly appreciated, and I will definitely be returning to Pet Valu for grooming services in the future. Thank you, Adriana, for a wonderful experience!

Really love this location they have a great selection of products including natural food products for my dog who has dietary sensitivities. Staff always friendly!

0 stars for their groomer at this location. While trimming my dogs nails and grinding his pads, the groomer cut my dog and wasnt going to tell me. He also did a horrible job trimming his face. I asked for a few hairs to be trimmed away from my dogs eyes and he shaved all of the hair off instead between his eyes leaving it looking uneven and terrible. Would not come back again!

We love this Pet Valu have been going to the same one just at the old location for over 17 years. Carol is amazing and has always been very helpful when it comes to our cat and dogs. She always greets them with a heart felt welcome. She really make our experience very welcoming.

Great place. Called in to wash my dog in there paw wash. Place was super clean and had everything nicely organized for our use. Only minor issue is one of yhe dog dryers need to me fixed. Perfect location and staff are super nice and professional!

Great service! I did the order ahead online and I got a call the next day about my order - they didnt have the specific toy but the employee asked me what kind of dog I had and the toy he picked was perfect! First toy my puppy will actually play with. When I went by to get the order, the employees were very friendly! My only gripe is that this store does not have a bike rack outside - although that is more of an issue with the whole area.

Pet value is always good specially their groomer on Saturdays.

Took my dog Peaches for a hair cut and the groomer was great with her

I brought my cat Gus in to be groomed and I think her name was Paula or paulette and she did an amazing job. Hes not a fan of nail trims but she was very patient and made him feel comfortable. I definitely will be returning and will recommend her to my friends

Well… just lost a long time customer. I live less than 5 minutes away. Went to get my dog food and they are out of stock of his food. I was suggested to wait until Tuesday when they get more. What is the sense in supporting a store near me if they don’t have what we need and on top of that have an employee like that. I kinda didn’t appreciate the idea of starving my dog for the next 4 days so that’s how it ends. It’s quite unfortunate that when the owner isn’t there, that’s how the store is. People working in pet stores need to fit in with pet owners. Too bad they hired that guy.

Just a gratefully stocked pet store. The owner is highly organized and runs a great store. Pet value prices aren't a joke though.

Illiterate people. Never trust this place to take care of your pet for grooming. The lady that cut my cats hair was very aggresive and ended up leaving red marks with cuts visible. Manager and the employee should be fired and charged for the work they have caused.

Great selection of goods. Pleasant staff. Wish the dog wash stations had better water pressure (or different kind of head) in shower heads and blowers were stronger( one barely does anything, would probably not even move hair) would make every visit much faster.

Today I had a pleasant experience with the ladies here. Got all I needed for our new pup, and she was diligent to explain some tips and tricks for transitioning and care. Thank you again for all your help!

Very well maintained place, staff very helpful and friendly. The only down side is that when it comes to bath time for your (dogs) the shampoo and conditioner themself are a little watered down making it.

We always go here because it’s close to where we live. And every time, they always have what’s needed for our baby boi. This is his favourite especially when I bring him with me to pick a toy or his new rawhide. The staff are always nice and never fails to extend assistance if need be. The best part, never did we experience any out of stock dog food - ACANA.

Great place for quick pet food, and unlike the big stores it's never like out for stock. I would go to this over PetSmart since these people actually understand the meaning and purpose of inventory management. I've never seen anything out of stock and the people here are so nice to work with.

It's ok yes lots of selection and good prices with ample parking but I don't get the same interaction with staff as with other stores. Although this is over to me I only come here if I need to and travel a bit further to a pet value where that service is there.

DO NOT COME TO THIS GROOMER. Would leave 0 stars if I could, I recommend the petvalu on sheppard (3mins away) instead of this one. Called to book a groom, guy asked for dog size, age, and. breed. Told him the dogs could potentially be skunked but I wasn't sure because it's a different type of smell from the usual skunk. He said $60 for the groom and an additional de-skunking if it's the case. We agreed. I dropped my dog off and it was a lady and not the guy I spoke to. When I bring my second dog for the next time slot they mention its going to cost me $100 plus de-skunking for the first dog. I told the lady I was told $60 on the phone and she said it was a new guy and he ran his own promo, but since they started I'd have to pay regular price ($130 +tax). She did say I could get the next dog for $60 as promised. I came back to pickup the first dog and she mentions how she wont be honouring the $60 groom because she'd be losing money and it's not worth it. Groomer has behavioural issues, bad communication, and bad planning. First and last time here, will not be coming back.

I was in the store today when a man dropped off a smoyed- two actually .. He tried to convince the groomer that someone quoted him 65. She apologized and corrected the price. She did explain that she could NOT honour the price of 65 and he agreed to his one dog getting done. I stayed and watched these ladies work hard on this extremely skunked dog. The whole store reeked but they worked away to ensure this dog was taken care of. I came to leave then a 5 star review only to see his NASTY 1 star review.. I was there when he also picked up- and couldn't believe the disrespect the man gave. Please dont believe what you read and go meet Adrianna and Melissa yourself. They are incredible, even more so for dealing with his attitude like Champs.
