Very expensive grocery store. Without saying they are ripping you off by selling you yellow washed potatoes 1,80 $ more per pound because the took the same potatoes out of their bag.

I’ve been shopping here for years now and have always been greeted by the friendliness of the cashiers especially this young man. But until recently they got this Stephanie girl who seriously doesn’t know what customer service looks like. She greets customers with the rudest stare and tone, then continues to recklessly slam bags with grocery on the counter. She talks as quite as a mouse so when I say pardon me she gives me this horrible attitude. Stephanie needs to go. She couldn’t careless about this job and constantly looks at her phone while at work. Absolutely horrible service from her.

The branch is surrounded by plenty of parking spaces, though the traffic might be troublesome to join rush hour. There is a floral, bakery, sushi and food on the go areas, in addition to standard grocery and market. The staff have been responsive and helpful at times and the pizza ordered from them had been good, though low on the cheese compared to other Metros. All in all, a good branch to shop and purchase hot food.

Expensive but good quality products. Shelves are fully stocked and overall, place is well-maintained (clean and organized). Not too crowded. Lots of parking space also.

Picked up my first Too Good To Go (tgtg) order at this metro location. $5.99 for bakery items. They're so generous here!! I got lucky with my pickup today. The value of the goods I picked up (including the 30% discount sticker and not including tax) was $21.06. Also, the lady who helped me out was super sweet. Definitely recommend.

This place is cool went and found this very cool machine I have not seen at any other grocery store it is a weight label printer so you can weigh you fruit and print off a label and when you check out is faster no having to weigh the item is already done just scan and go love it.

Clean store, staff are generally helpful. The manager, Reid, is very knowledgeable. If a mistake is made or when I am not happy with a product that I purchased, they are very professional about it. If you are purchasing a reduced price item, try to see whether it is still safe to eat (I am referring to white or green fuzz). But seriously, it is one of my favourite stores. Great job York Mills and Bayview Metro!

I recently purchased chiken from the store. On opening the pacakge, the chicken was spoiled and smell horrible. The store manager, Reid, was very rude and unpolished when my wife returned the chicken immediately to the store. The store manager should be trained on customer service and courtesy. I will no longer shop in this store because of the store manager and his lack of customer service. THE STORE MANAGER SHOULD LEARN FROM LONGOS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I go to this metro for my daily groceries (or went I should say), as it is the closest to me. I wouldn’t say they were good or bad up until today as there has been some minor issues; but not to the extent where I would shop else. I can be seen there nearly every weekday, and sometimes and weekends getting the same chicken combo with two items. It’s been part of my daily routine. There has been the odd inconvenience in relation to culterly, and sometimes the food being dry. I’ve noticed the food has become drier and direr, to the extent where the rice is crispy. This particularly happens when the manager with the black hair, who wears a cross is working. Today the food was intolerable, but worse the service. He refused to refund chicken that was insanely dry. There was no mosture in this chicken at all, it was almost like sandpaper. He said because I abd eaten some of the sides. Excuse me? I still have to drive back to get the refund, that should never had been required anyway. No apology or anything, poor dismissive body language and domenour. Even if he has offered me half my money back I wouldn’t had made this review, although I’d argue that would not be ideal. It seems the food inspectors should visit this place, so I will be contacting the city as this food was honestly concerning. It’s really astonishing that this person is the manager. Incredibly frustrating, do not go here, and do not use their food bar. This is the second time I’ve had signifant concerns about their food, which is to a greater extent of the food being dry. The 1/5 stars for this ‘manager’ is generous, the service was far lower.

I like this place. Very friendly, and price is pretty good. The price on bread is high and there is not much of variaty on ready made food, which I need most of time. So I don't go there too often.

It's alright. Some good selection of cheeses, nice bakery, plenty of parking on the plaza, a little tight maybe. Overall a normal average sized Metro location.

Convenient location with lots of groceries, very good prices. Bought barbecue chicken legs & onion rings. Very tasty.

This Metro is great. Tried a new rotisserie chicken here called Irresistibles Life Smart Herb Chicken and I’m hooked. I always check for it and I’m not the only one, please make more of these!!!

Love this store. Not massive like some of the super stores. Feels more like a neighbourhood store with great staff and products.

Metro at Bayview and York Mills is a mid size store with good selection and a butcher on site. I am very impressed with the service level at this store. Despite COVID-19 the staff have kept their sense of humour and commitment to the customers.

Fresh meat, fruits and vegtables have very short shelf life. In the case of meat or bread, it rarely makes it to best before. Bacon was bad 1 month before expiry. 100% of cucumbers i have bought here in the last 18 months have been bad. Maybe a 1/2 dozen. Prices higher than loblaws, walmart and sobeys. After 20 years shopping here weekly we avoid it now.

Prices a bit high but nice clean environment with a wide selection of products for bath and body, skin care groceries and home. Also very convenient and customer friendly.

I had rated this store a five star but after today level of service If I could give them a zero they would have it. Based on my receipt @ 5:46 pm I stopped off to pick up my father in law's prescription and decided to purchase him some midweek groceries and decided to buy a slice of pizza. I waited while the attendant talked with a coworker to cook his frozen pizza. She them looked at me turned and took a pizza out of the oven and walked in the other direction as it to say I'm not waiting on you.

Popped in here to grab a few items. First it's an absolutely terrible layout. Most common items are on the top floor which is either a lengthy wait for the elevator or a massive walk up 3 flights of steps. Then, having no checkout at the top level, having to come back down to pay. Also the store is filthy. The glass inside the elevator is grimy with a big stain. The glass lining the elevator shafts has some sort of large liquid stains that have been there some time. The inside of the elevator is covered in dirt and grime. I will not shop here again until it clean.

A good grocery store store. Québec based but far from offering the level of service and selection they provide in Québec. We travel there regularly and are able to compare. Super expensive.

Waited for nearly 10 minutes for the bakery girl to show up....asked another staff member and they couldn't find her. Great job! The fact that they felt comfortable leaving the bakery empty speaks volumes of the management

Decent store. Good selection. Prices are high in meat and produce, and real specials are few.

I haven't been in that location in years. Quite nice. Well laid out, lots of variety, lots of signs making it easy to find things.

Monday afternoons are perfect to go grocery shopping. The store is empty and full restocked. Except for the veggies and fruits.

I am frequent customer of Metro York Mills. It is a good grocery store with good product range, best prices, and nice staff. The only negative point is for its customer-unfriendly self check out machines.

We shop here often. The staff are second to none...friendly, personable, and know most of their regulars by name. The produce is fresh and meat is great. Reliably good spot to grocery shop.

I was greeted with a smile on their face as soon as i was about to check out Stephanie asked me How my day was going and if I found everything I needed for today. I will definitely stop by here again in hopes of Stephanie cashing me out on my next visit. Overall she was very welcoming, well spoken and a good hearted individual!

A mid sized supermarket with ample parking spaces. Prices are reasonable. With variety of shops and eating places around. A nice place to shop around.

This store has become inconsistent in customer service, at the bakery and especially at the hot food bar. You could be waiting awhile to be serviced as they are washing the dishes or doing something in the fridge room, and when called to their attention, they clearly express their annoyance for being interrupted. I find myself stopping over at this store less and less due to the increasing potential unpleasant shopping experience. It's too bad as it's the closest grocery store to my home.

never shopping at this location again. always making customer wait, however whenever theres an issue at the customer service desk the manager always takes his time and makes the customer wait. this is the manager marco. the line on this store has been ridiculous, ive noticed since the other manager left it seems like this new person is trying to save hours. the line up gets hectic however nothing is being done about it. whats the point of shopping quickly to go in and out while the line up is very long. i personally like the other guy better not the one that replaced him. i miss him and hope that he comes back to this store.
