I've spent an hour a day waiting for them to pick up, 5 days in a working week so 10 hours over 2 weeks.     I've been trying to call these people for the past 2 weeks to find out who CCJs belong to. I've spent an hour a day waiting for them to pick up, 5 days in a working week so 10 hours over 2 weeks. I need this info to sort things out in my life as I don't want to be harassed by rent a cops that come banging for debt. The fact they don't answer you but will happily accept applications from businesses says pretty much what we all know already, if you're giving them money they have time for you, if your calling to find out what's going on then you're not worth bothering with. So 10 hours over 2 weeks and 12 hours over the course of 2 days. This court is a joke

    I understand the need for a waiting list, but do we really need to listen to such a loud and distorted loop of annoying music depressing and totally unnecessary, then, a voice (played very quietly) tells you the usual, but you grab the phone in the hope that another 25 minutes of waiting will not be necessary? this continues.........and continues...... and....... How ridiculous! this modern age, yet we have an antiquated system to go by...... very poor indeed. -10/10 And i appreciate waiting 45 mins on hold, just to have you put the phone down on me before answering me! Why ask to answer a survey.... Your obviously NOT LISTENING! i have called you again, and at present have now been on hold for 90 minutes! You took my money but send no confirmation as mentioned...... i think we know who the REAL Criminals are!

    They send letters late and I pretty sure it is deliberate. Received letter 18 days after the served on date and the last time I received the forms 1 month after the served on date. Coincidence? I think not, there is pure corruption going on here somewhere and this place should be investigated. Such forms should be sent via recorded delivery! Do they not think important documents should be signed for to ensure they are received?! I am suspicious there is something not right with the way this place operates and if their practices are legal.

    If I could give negative stars I would! It appears to be so far removed from any court of law it is unbelievable. Aside from spending some 10 hours in trying to contact them and still being unsuccessful I have now downloaded a form N244 which I am sending recorded delivery - will write again if and when I a reply! Apparently someone there rubber stamps CCJs on unsuspecting members of the public mainly I believe relating to parking charge notices in private car parks - offences which to be quite frank are ludicrous. I received one 3 years ago as in a deserted retail car park I apparently had 2 wheels in another space! About 6pm (just after Covid lockdown had ceased but social distancing in force) I went into retail park in dark, wet and blustery conditions - car park deserted - had no thought of whether I had parked with precision accuracy as nobody else there. I got a parking charge notice. I did attempt to contact UK parking control to no avail and subsequently forgot about it as so farcical. Three years on I find purely by chance I have just had a CCJ entered against me for the sum of ยฃ320.80 - where did that figure come from? Letโ€™s see what happens now. Yet another government scandal!

    If I could I would love to give zero stars This company / business centre / scam has somehow issued a County Court Judgement which has shown up on my credit report. I found this out through my credit report wouldn't have even known about it... doesn't seem very legit - no pre court protocol or notification. Also been on hold almost an hour w I spoke to them I sent to them an 244 form and they didn't reply I called them back and they said to me to go yothe closest high court near me

    If I could give a 0 star I would. Staff hang up on you after being on hold for what feels like forever. I called after seeing a CCJ on my credit report with no idea what itโ€™s for or who is claiming, no letters had ever been received. I emailed CCBC twice, with no response in over a month. Called several times to ask who the claiming company was, I was told they donโ€™t have authority to access emails to check.. after I asked the girl to take down my details in order to ask someone else with authority to check she just hung up. Useless place, useless people. Still nowhere further with my CCJ and everytime I try and call I have to go through 726383 minutes of automated messages and then a further 8374 mins on hold.

    Absolutely appalling service and not fit for purpose, incorrectly given a CCJ which has ruined my credit score despite having a spotless credit score all my life. Has meant I have had to put plans on hold. Trying to get it rectified is a nightmare as you will not be able to get through to anyone or it will ho straight to a voicemail after half an hour waiting. Absolutely useless.

    This company / business centre / scam has somehow issued a County Court Judgement which has shown up on my credit report. I found this out through my CreditKarma account else i wouldn't have even known about it... doesn't seem very legit - no pre court protocol or notification. Also been on hold almost an hour with no answer.

    Disgraceful, I have been trying to speak to someone by calling their number but after over 2 hours and 50 minutes of being on hold, I gave up again. When CCJs turn up on your report for huge sums of money and show addresses I have not been living at for over 10 years, I want to be able to find out who is committing fraud under my name etc. No person answers on this number, whatsoever and this place needs to be investigated officially and closed down with immediate effect. Looks like a SCAM to me and advise anyone looking to call them to not bother wasting their precious time/life trying to speak to someone as it just will not ever happen.     Don't send threatening letters accusing me of not sending you documentation on time. I sent by royal mail signed for and I can see that you received the letter on time. It is not my problem that you don't have enough staff to process mail in a timely manner. The irony of this is that the letter you sent 'ordering' me to send you the documentation you had actually already received arrived over 2 weeks late and the seven day deadline you gave in the letter had already expired. Take a leaf out of your own book before sending threatening letters to people. Your telephone service is a joke with a huge waiting time with rude advisors when you do eventually get through. This is not good enough for a public service. Especially one which can enter ccj's against people and potentially have a huge impact on people's lives if you mess people's credit scores up. Your service should be on point. This is unacceptable.

    Called 4 times different days no answer after 45 mins each call. Awful service. Trying to track down a claimant so I can find out who served me a CCJ. No idea who I owe? No paperwork received. Bank advised I have CCJ against me!

    Ive been calling for 2 days to find out the debt i have as it cane up on my credit score. No one answers im not sure how anyone can pay if a debt when no one answers or helps you. its very sad. I have proof on my phone of hours of being on the phone. theres nothing i can do if no one picks up. Finanlyl someone picked up i said hello and they hanged up. im sure they done this on purpose

    Very dodgy people, Iโ€™m not certain this place is legitimate especially when you receive letters with a pixelated โ€˜The County courtโ€™ logo looks entirely fake. Sending multiple letters dated 31st Jan a month late. No recorded delivery, and with an appalling online service that is impossible to use. Authorities have to look into this place and investigate exactly what they are doing as it looks like a scam from the get go. Thereโ€™s no acknowledgment of the response you make to the claim and no direct way of dealing with these people. Iโ€™ll be contacting this so called solicitor or legal rep whatever you call yourself directly with a grievance if I get more letters for something I have paid. Unreasonable harassment and an absolute waste of court time if you actually are a court.

    If I could give this business center a zero I would. I have sent by registered mail a document 2 months ago and still not even an acknowledgement or a reply, on top of that I have sat numerous times for up to an hour calling what to appears to be a call center with No operatives. If this is apparently a business center I would say how they conduct business is nothing short of abysmal.

    crazy the amount of bad reviews, I got a notification on my credit file it had gone on so rang them straight away and find out why someone had filed that against me. It was a parking fine outstanding. Fully paid now itโ€™s off my file

    I've been phoning 2 weeks everyday!!!! I've been waiting today for 2.5 hours with NO answer - How can you ask people to pay court fees when there is no way to do so ? If there is knowome taking payments then put it on your answer machine and ensure you do not add any additional court fees for late payment!!!!!!!!! Really unprofessional, im Currently writing to the local counsellor to report this.

    I spent 2.2 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone. The service was so atrocious that it's indescribable. The woman who picked up the phone sounded like she was inebriated and spoke to me as if she were in a haze. During the conversation, you could hear messages coming in on her Messenger. It's a disgrace. 2.2 hours just to make a ยฃ14 payment. With so many negative reviews, someone should do something about this service.

    Wish i could give 0 stars! Called them 4 times today each time over 40 mins on hold! On call waiting right now 49 mins. How can they be allowed to sent out letters on behalf of corrupt companies ( Lowell) and not answer questions or passwords needed to login! They just want you to pay up shut up even if the debt isn't yours. Any other company with this level of incompetence would be shut down!

    Waited 1hr for anyone to answer phone, then when answered, they were supposed to transfer me to money claims online. Waited a further 45 minutes. No reply. Recorded voice asked me during wait time to tap in 2 for moneyclaimsonline. Did this but kept asking continually to press 2 Tried to email, but kept blocking my message. This sort of service is not appropriate when I have paid ยฃ80 to this completely useless service. This was all in responseI a letter received from the court service in Northampton stating they had not received the Directions Questionnaire and the court fee of ยฃ80. And making an order that I do so within 7 days. Letter dated 26/07/23 but not received until 02/08/23. Have tried to email, but continues to blocked the attached completed document.

    Total scam company. Organised crime. Supporting dodgy parking companies. Sent me a letter that arrived 3 weeks after the date on it (CCTV proof of arrival) stating I had 2 weeks to reply. Obviously impossible so judgement gone against me before first letter even turned up. Costs as much to fight it as it does to just pay it. Scum. Complete scum. And licensed by the UK government... what a surprise! Disgusting.

    Received a letter with something that happened 3 years ago. Sent my response and received a letter of further charges had been applied, because they didnโ€™t hear from me. Letter was 1st class signed for. Tried to call them but none seems to pick up the line as Iโ€™ve tried to reach them on the same day 3 times and every call had extended 40mins of waiting.

    Appalling service. Called twice in one day and was on hold for over 1 hr each time ! Lost the will to live and had to get on with my day. Its a disgraceful service but I guess this is reflective of the way any public service operates in the UK thanks to this government (whom I have voted for all my adult life until the general election 2024).Take Take Take and Waste Waste Waste.     Worse service i ever have to deal with there is record that i own them 473 pound for something witch i have no idea for what when i try call them NO ONE is answering the phone over an hour. I did send them a email regarding my issue and they just say that they cannot help me without their claim reference witch i do not have it after this they just told me to speak to a Claiman i do not even know what is this and nothing been sort i just waste of time with them , n stress for no reason.

    If I could give minus stars I would. Just had a judgement with NO invite to court as to why Iโ€™m having to pay this fine. The stamp is just a photo copy that donโ€™t look real or authentic. My date of birth has no date. No judges name. And basically just looks like a photo copy. Seems you canโ€™t even trust the courts nowadays

    38 minutes on hold and then they closed at 5. Terribly understaffed? I called one day later a young lady picked up the phone. she remembered me from talking to me earlier. I had sent my application to stay the writ by email 10 days earlier. She could not see it on their system. She asked to resend my email. According to her if I do not receive noreply autoreply, it means that they did not receive it. She suggested to send the application by physical mail to the county court business centre. So much for electronic government. This is so third world

    Terrible service considering its being payed for by the tax payers!! Over the last 2 days I have spent 3 hours in total trying to get through to someone with no luck which has now cost me wages! Is there any wonder why people have little or no faith in anything to do with the courts ect anymore when you they can't even be bothered to answer the phone...

    This is an organised crime set up going on here! Your information is stolen and passed on between themselves and follow up with a lots of threats and legal intimidation urging you to make payment that has absolutely nothing to do with you!! My information was stolen from NHS after i left the trust to attend to an urgent family issue. I contacted NHS payroll just to clarify my status with them and i was told not to respond that it's a fraud that i do not owe any overpayment claimed by this organised crime group. This so called County Court Business Centre cannot be found in Companies House which is quite obvious it's an illegal set up and i also tried calling without any response from this heartless group for the past couple of days. This company is a fraud and organised crime group targeting and destroying peoples life for no good reason. This is a very serious crime been committed by this people and with the amount of complaints on here it's a shame nothing has been done to combat the crime for so long. But i will be fighting against this in my own little way!!

    Absolutely disgusted with this "service" Applied for a warrant of control back in March, received a letter 5th May to say it had been transferred to local County Court to be executed. Rang local court today 1st September to be told they have not received any paperwork from them to be able to proceed. Tried calling but left on hold for half an hour.

    Really helpful and efficient. Called just after 10am and waited approx 6 minutes before call was answered by a very friendly lady called Claire. She was polite and friendly.. Not what I was expecting after reading reviews--perhaps they've had a change of management or staff? Either way, keep it up as it makes all the difference, especially as like so many others who have written reviews on here I was baffled and confused as to why my name has come up on court systems!! Thank you again. 5 stars for efficiency, politeness, patience and helpful advice.

    I've had a really positive experience here. The wait on the phone was long however I was aware of it and it didn't bother me much. The gentleman who helped me, answered all my questions politely and efficiently. It's amazing how so many people had such bad experience. I was really lucky I suppose. Or maybe the people with bad reviews really didn't want to cough up what they owe.

    Just received an order to pay lowell portfolio trying to claim money for 2 companies I've not had any dealings with. They threaten if I don't pay they will seize my property and add more cost. When I try to call them I never get an answer. Its ridiculous.

    I've been trying to get through for 3 days now! Last night I was waiting to get through for 2hours and 59 seconds - I started off at number 8 in the queue - I held on as I desperately need some advice, I hung up in frustration. This morning I dialled in at number 4 in the queue waited short of 30 minutes to get through and they hung up on me!!! This is poor, unprofessional and unacceptable, I totally get it that the lines are busy but this is ridiculous - I had waited 60 mins on Wednesday 3rd, and over an hour on Tuesday 2nd I'm currently waiting to get through "Yet Again" as I'm now in a desperate situation of which CCBC should be at hand to advise. I'm totally not impressed neither happy, but distressed by this awful frustration!

    Diabolical, not fit for purpose "court" service!! It is seriously damaging people's lives with their complete incompetence and serious lack of customer service. Every single email I have sent requesting advice and assistance with a court claim has been ignored (they have received it as I received an auto reply acknowledgement email back) but my actual requests have been completely ignored , for months now ! They messed up my address, paperwork went to a wrong address, caused many problems with GDPR , I have complained and complaints have been ignored , I have escalated to the parliamentary ombudsman to deal with now because it is unacceptable and my health is impacted now, due to the stress of everything.

    Pathetic service I have been kept on hold on three occasions for over 40 minutes before giving up. Ridiculous. All this to pay a parking charge that I contested and it went to Court without me knowing . Feel like a criminal with a CCJ and effected credit rating. Paid the extortionate fee straight away but canโ€™t get through to these muppets.

    I was at this Bradford airport for the first time, I stopped by car 5 seconds before entering to make sure I could go. VCS took me to court, then to debt collection and I have to pay ยฃ270. This is nothing more than a hunt for drivers' money. Stealing drivers. And the stupid CCBC court approves everything.

    This appears to be a some form of scam, Iโ€™m not surprised by the one star reviews and look how many there are! Iโ€™ve done a credit file check and found a CCJ that I had zero knowledge of, there have be no formal contact with me for this court proceeding and appear to give these CCJโ€™s out like Lolly pops. Letter that was sent years ago appeared to be fake and manipulated with incorrect court stamps etc and had ZERO evidence provided in the letter called them on hold for ages and no one called me back. This appears to be a parking ticket from years ago I had no knowledge of and appears to be buying old debt from doggy companies, adding money on top for themselves, proceed with caution when dealing very illegitimate company โ€ฆ

    A CCJ has appeared on my credit file, 3 letters missing off my name and in an address I left over 5 years ago. I know nothing about it what so ever. Tried calling and hung up after an hour on hold. All I want to know is what the debt was for!!!!!!

    Shocking place wants closing down no online system no staff reduced service. You can't get through you have to manually print forms they can take over 10 weeks to respond. They are worse than a bunch of illegal wheel clampers an absolute disgrace going to pay them a personal visit.

    Can somebody please advise me on how you get through to this place?!?? I have called no less than 8 or 9 times and each time I am on hold for approximately 45mins, and then the line cuts off. I simply require details of the Claimant to pay off a CCJ which was issued against me for a parking fine. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Had to put 1 star to be able to post a comment. Ireceived a claim form last week regarding an unpaid parking charge. Prior to this, I also got a letter from ELMS Legal stating I will be receiving said claim form. So I rang the number on letter from ELMS Legal to be told to complete the claim form & return it. Though the return address is for them & not a court? Plus, the county court claim form from CCBC does not look legit & a photo copy at best. Rather than returning by post, I logged onto www.moneyclaim.gov.uk as it states you can respond online. To my suprise, it is stating the claim number is invalid. I have emailed justice.gov.uk & am awaiting a response.

    Waited for 28 mins listening to what number I am in the queue then 1 min to 5 oโ€™clock the message changes to โ€œwe shut promptly at 5 pm so you wonโ€™t get answered !!! Absolutely typical government department!!!

    Very poor service. I have had bad credit for over 5 years for a CCJ which shouldnโ€™t have ever been applied for. The court were informed of this by the insolvency service but they didnโ€™t remove it. Unbelievable. So much stress that was completely unnecessary over the last few years.

    Waited 40 minutes to speak to someone, I quoted the case number and was asked security questions and suddenly I was put back to the first menu. I now have to wait another 40 minutes. Very poor service and looking at all the bad reviews, CCBC don't care!

    I spoke to a very helpful person called Paula. The wait to connect was only 5 minutes (don't call between 12 and 2 - very busy). I think we need to give the call handlers a break. CCBC is clearly massively under-staffed, so it's the wretched Home Office that deserves the flak, not the CCBC staff

    I am currently waiting YET AGAIN on the phone to try and get through to this dreadful place - I have been trying every week day for the last 2 months with no joy!!! If I don't get through today I will be driving the almost 2 hours there personally to get sorted what a phone call should be able to solve!!! Diabolical service and a place, I believe that should no longer remain open as it does nothing for those trying to get through to them!!

    Spent 30 minutes waiting to be told need to wait for another letter and then when I was asking if I could still offer a lower amount as the parking company had added a 6000% increase to the original ticket , I was cut off. I wasnโ€™t even being rude!! Is this actually a government department as it needs customer service training!!
