I came in with my kids early on a Saturday morning. It had just opened but there were already a few families there. Although there were quite a few staff and it wasn't overly busy, it did take awhile to get served, but I'll chalk that up to getting things set up for the day. The staff was very friendly in welcoming us and checking in during our meal. The kids had pancakes, but it was a bit of a challenge getting them to add chocolate chips (it's not a standard offering, but many of the nearby similar restaurants do have them). I had the eggs Benedict which was okay, but highly unusual with crispy strip bacon, and the potatoes were not that great if I'm honest. We also got the fruit plate which had a lot of what I presume was chopped mint on it, which really didn't add anything and naturally didn't appeal to my kids. Since it's nearby and has good reviews otherwise, we'll definitely be back to try other things. I'm glad this is a local option with people who care running it. We maybe just got an off day.

My sister and I are very happy and thankful to Tribu Caffe for accomodating my nephew's post batism celebration. The service is topnotch - special mention to Alex. Our 20 guests are amaze and enjoyed the food. From the presentation to the taste of each dish is superb! Highly recommended diner in N Ashland.

The food was really good and the service was great. I tried the crepes and they were different from any other crepes. Delicioso! I will definitely come back!

I can't say enough good things about this place! The food was amazing. The service was fast and great. It's a family owned restaurant and they work very well together which makes the place have a nice vibe. Araceli was our waitress and she's the sweetest! I definitely recommend coming here. My family and I will be back here for sure. This is a new breakfast/brunch spot. Everything was also very fairly priced.

We went to Tribu one morning last week when Chicago temps were slightly below zero. The service and food were warm, welcoming and delicious. When our grandson told them it was his 3rd birthday (we clarified to say it was actually next week) they made the most beautiful pancake/banana split complete with candle. Will absolutely go back !

Went there this morning and it was excellent! The food was amazing and super fresh. The kids loved everything they ordered which is a first for us. I had the avocado bacon toast and it was perfect. The portion sizes were great and everything came with a small bowl of fresh fruit.

Great place. We had a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. I had the huevos rancheros and not only were they delicious but the plating was great as well. Definitely going back.

Tried this place for the first time. The food we ordered was excellent! The fruit was very fresh—impressive for January in Chicago. The menu has a nice variety. The service was friendly and helpful. We’ve already told our neighbors about this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Wow. Just wow! Super fresh food, awesome menu and great service! I absolutely loved the coffee, rich and delicious. I ordered crispy pork and waffles, I was expecting shredded carnitas and was pleasantly surprised with nice big chunks of perfectly cooked pork. The waffles were nice and crispy on the outside and Fluffy on the inside. It came with chimichurri sauce that tasted so fresh and the pickled onions were delicious. Nicole was our server and she was great, and thank you to the guys filling my coffee and water cup! Will 100% be going back to try more items and their drinks!

Fantastic fresh food! Good sized portions and great for a special breakfast! The Quesadillas and the Supremo were awesome! We did take out and photos attached.
