Had a bit of trouble locating this place it was a little dark in the lot but the staff were pleasant when I arrived, my food was hot when I took it home. The jerk sauce is very good but if you don’t like hot & spicy 🌶️ dont put it on your food. The jerk chicken was ok definitely wouldn’t have ate it without the sauce; came in handy. The mac & cheese at first glance didn’t look appetizing to me but I give it a 7.5/10. Yams were very tasty. I would try this restaurant again maybe dining in next time and a different entree.

FOOD was just ok, It was not as flavorful as I'm use too. The wait was a bit much too 1 hour and 20 minutes. I had the Build your plate we chose 3 meats, Jerk Chicken it was a lil dry with no taste, oxtails were soso not flavorful enough, the macaroni bland cabbage just ok and the other was fried chicken with some jerk bbq sauce on it , it was soso. I just realized I did not get my plantains with my order. The SERVICE was nice tho even tho the lady was struggling to take counter orders, online orders and phone orders she kept up and tried to still be polite even tho we know she was frustrated. The restaurant ATMOSPHERE was nice clean there is seating a washroom and there is also a gaming room, they also serve alcohol beverages. I myself will probably not be back for the jerk chicken. I might come back to try the jerk eggrolls and the shrimp curry dish and jerk taco just to see how they are, but there is no rush for me to get back tho since the food flavor is a little off🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but I def recommend this place. As a fellow chef I’d say the food was excellent, curry goat and Mac & cheese would be the only things I’d give a 3.5/5 from what I ordered. Do note it is a new restaurant but also a scratch kitchen. For those who don’t understand that concept, food takes longer to come out because nothing is coming out a bag. So I advice ordering ahead of time if you don’t have the time to wait. Needless to say I’ll be back. We ordered the 3plates of 2 meats & sides, jerk chicken 4/5, jerky fried chicken 5/5, curry goat 3.5/5, Mac & cheese 3.5/5, coleslaw, beef patty 5/5, plantains 4.4/5, cabbage 4/5, jerky egg rolls 5/5, would do a mango chutney instead of the salsa type side.

Jerky Jerk is a nice addition! Food was delicious. Staff was helpful with decisions - too many tasty options! I had the 2 meat/2 side plate with fried jerk chicken and the stew with rice and macaroni as my sides. Very flavorful and nicely prepared. It did take quite a while to get the food from time of order ~about 35 minutes, but it was very tasty so I’m willing to forget about the wait - worth it! I will definitely be back to Jerky Jerk but recommend ordering ahead if you’re in a time crunch. They have some fun boozy drinks to help with the wait too. I did not try those but I might have to get the Panty Dropper or Mango Smoothie on the next trip. Both looked great!

Chicken is pretty tasty and tender. Love the ox tail. My favorite here. Unfortunately I can't order the ox tail just by itself. That's why I took off one star. Please add it to the menu!😁 I love the taste of the curry goat, but it's way too salty in my opinion. BTW, food takes time to cook here. Highly recommend ordering in advance online.

Just grabbed take out. I barely made it home before making this review. I’ve been meaning to try this place for a few months. My food WAS made to order. I grabbed two jerky chicken rolls. They were hot and very good with the right amount of spice. The sauce isn’t traditional jerk but it’s good and I definitely dipped my rolls in there. I also had a rum punch. I could’ve used more rum, but that’s my preference. Not terrible for the $10 drink but I personally like to taste my alcohol. I want to return to try the oxtails, but I didn’t want that to be my first order due to the cost of them, I wanted to make sure I would come back. I like it. The girl at the register was really sweet.

Your price. Should represent your food quality. Obviously, it doesn’t match. In general, it’s okay. Not the best. Definitely had better. First and last time l will order from this place again. If im got to spend my money it’s a place that’s about quality. I don’t mind paying the money for good food. It just got to live up to it.
