I love Nordstrom for all my shoes, suits, and clothing. Mike Akiti is an amazing personal stylist. I high recommend him for all your shopping needs. Also has a fantastic restaurant inside the store.

Great store and service but have seen them make little effort to enforce the governors mask mandate. Department stores have poor fresh air circulation and are a hot bed for COVID. They could do a better job of enforcing things not just for customers, but also for the safety of the employees.

I ordered a pair of shoes for pickup. When I got there the shoes were clearly worn and dirty. An employee offered to order a new pair and have them shipped to the store for me. When I went to pick up the "new" pair I honestly believe these are the same shoes. They have small scuffs and stains and cat hair inside the shoe. It's like they just took the paper out and slipped the shoes in a plastic bag. Also one shoe was tied, just like the 1st pair. I am looking to find the shoes somewhere else because I really need them for an event this weekend. If I cannot I'll have to spend money having these professionally cleaned. Either way I won't be shopping here again!

I have been coming here for years. The security has been increased because of recent incidents. Salespeople are usually friendly and it is never too crowded. Highly recommend!!!

So disappointing the last few times I have been to this Nordstrom location. I love Nordys and I am a big in store shopper. The plus size selection for Oakbrook continues to get smaller and smaller. That is saying a lot seeing as there was only ever a tiny percentage of floor space for plus size. The sales associates all comment that they get this feedback from people consistently. Do better. The world is becoming more and more size inclusive, please bring back more in store!

I had the BEST experience with Phil in the shoe department! I came in to find my son shoes for his Senior Prom and we were treated like VIP's. Not only did Phil help us with different shoe options. He also went and found a shirt for my son to try on with his suit (we brought with us) to ensure the shoes went well. He gave his honest opinion and helped us find a shoe within our budget. Thanks Phil!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Staff took care of all my questions and it never felt that we were being rushed. Store was clean, well stocked and organized. Reminded me of how department stores of yore treated their customers with respect. Overall a very nice experience.

Nice store overall. However, I did NOT receive good and professional customer service from one of the beauty advisors. I walked over to a beauty section and was looking at fragrances and this older white woman with short gray hair asked me if there was something she could help me with and i told her I was looking around. She was looking at me like she was suspicious of me and I didn’t do anything wrong… I was just looking at the fragrances quietly. Just because I was looking at fragrances and not going up to anyone asking for help, she acted like I was suspicious or like she thought I was weird. Then I went to another beauty section (Armani beauty section) shortly afterwards, and she walked to that section as I was looking through a drawer trying to find my foundation shade and was watching me and asked me again if I needed help and she gave me a weird look like she didn’t understand what I was doing. I told her I was looking for shade 5.75 and she went to ask someone and then proceeded to say that she thinks they don’t have that shade in the size I want and then said she could order it online. It just seemed like she did not want to help me and wanted to get me out of the store as soon as possible. I think she is very disrespectful and needs to learn how to communicate with customers better. I did not appreciate how she treated me.

Oh this is an amazing place to purchased some fragrances. This review it’s regarding that department. Every single time I go there they’re always very welcoming, helpful and even sweet. I had such a great experience and they even have some expertise is some of the fragrances and help you choose what’s the best for your taste. 10/10 thank you.

This review is for Celeste in the men's department. She is warm, friendly, engaging, and knows how to select the right pieces. I will only shop with her when I need clothes for any occasion. She is an expert and knows how to treat clients and shoppers.

Beautiful store in Oak book center. Lots of variety of men's, women's and kids clothes. Prices are high, so don't go for cheap bargain unless there is a huge sale here. Lots of staff everywhere to help and maintain the place. Parking can be accessed only from level 1 and level 2 leads to the mall entrance.

Excellent experience from the service to the selection of items. Nordstrom offers nice services, like alterations for clothing items, free shipping, amazing selection of items. It's always a fun place to shop.

Store was bustling with customers on day I went. Fortunately Nordstrom has seating scattered around, so I was able to sit while my daughter shopped. She found a couple of nice outfits.

I can't say enough good things about this store. Pat H. in women's styled my mother and me. She found both of us perfect fitting pants. I'm way shorter than my mom. So, that was was impressive. Tony helped my husband in men's and found him clothes that fit him perfectly. All of the sales people had no problems sticking to pur budget. We will be sharing their cards with all our friends and family. Thank you for giving us an amazing shopping experience!

Had an awesome experience at Nordstrom thanks to Danika! I haven’t went lingerie shopping in years + had no idea what I was looking for. Danika helped me figure out my size + refresh my whole collection. Would highly recommend Nordstrom to anyone for its great styles and helpful employees.

Shoes are different for everybody, and I've spent a long time trying to find some that fit me well. I read about their single and split shoe service online and decided to come in. Now I am so glad I did, they listened to my questions non judgementally and even measured my feet for me! Life changing experience to finally find shoes that actually fit. Huge thank you to Tony! I visited the Charlotte Tilbury counter today and had the pleasure of being helped by Madison. She was so lovely and knowledgeable about the products and helped match me with foundation and blush. She took the time to try out some products on me which I will be returning to purchase! If you need make up or skincare tips then Madison is someone you want to see. Thanks Madison, the foundation is a good match and still looking great.

The best department store in the Chicagoland area! Not only does it have an amazing merchandise selection and fabulous special events, it is dog friendly! Also, the coffee bar has an excellent selection of hot and cold drinks and is the best place to buy a beverage at the mall.

I usually have good experience there but today it was just plain waste of my time. Women's shoe department gives you out number and you are helped when its your turn. I waited about 30 min which is fine. Then my turn, a man came to help me. I asked for one shoe in my size and he walked away. He finally brought a pair saying my size is out but other color is there to try. I put it on and immediately noticed its too big, wanted smaller pair. Well he was gone. Waited and waited. He never came back. Man with a microphone even called him but he didn't come back. At this point they could have given someone else to help me but they didn't, just kept telling me sorry we don't know where he is. So I went home and ordered a pair online. Such a waste.

This location has a large selection and their racks were fully stocked. The employees were helpful and they typically don’t approach you unless you ask for help so you can shop undisturbed. If you do seek out assistance the staff can be your personal shoppers looking for items for you for an occasion or just in general.

Now is 1 AM and I couldn’t sleep because of what happened today at this store. Today I was shopping with my friend at this store and used the restroom on 3rd floor. I was just doing my business in restroom and locked the door, everything just normal, BUT suddenly the opened!! The cleaning lady opened my restroom door without any notice or knock! I wear a romper today, you know when you wear romper you have to take it off in order to use restroom. So I was almost naked and she just used her key opened the door! Once we realized what happening I immediately closed it and locked again. She didn’t say anything. When I came out asking her, she didn’t apologize and said she thought she locked the door so she opened it. This is very unprofessional and I can’t believe this happened in Nordstrom. How come anyone can assume it’s empty when the door is locked? And you can clearly see my feet through the space! She just used her key opened it while I’m in the restroom! I been a customer of your for long time and this bad experience just changed and blowed my mind. I didn’t get an apology from her at all! I talked to the manager after what was happening, manager was nice, she apologized to me but she didn’t do anything wrong. The cleaning lady should apologize to me. I was in shock today and my hands literally shaking when I spoke to the manager. Manager offered us free coffee but all I need is the cleaning lady apologize to me about her inappropriate behavior. That cleaning lady’s behavior and attitude are beyond unprofessional.

Came in to get fitted for a tuxedo, and was lucky enough to come across Rita - what a lady! Not only was she great in the store - guiding me to the optimally fitting tux, and pairing with the perfect accessories - but she worked tirelessly after I left to coordinate with other stores to ensure that my suit made it to me on time. 10/10 experience. This is a level of service that you simple do not see anymore. Pay this woman handsomely!!

Lots of selection and many departments to meet your needs. 3 stars due to the fact that it was extremely busy and hard to get an associate. They were even giving numbers out to customers so ease the flow, it helped but still quite backed up.

We found great buys. Mr Long in men's shoes is one of best. Ms. Chris in women's clothing is also one of the best. You can't go wrong with either of them.

I’m a Nordstrom lover, I met the store manager Eric today and he was a complete delight. Nordstrom has remained dedicated to customer service, quality selections and overall excellent experience. I like coming to this Nordstrom because the service is good and has good quality products. They offer sanitizer at the entrance, With their card you get more benefits. Will keep coming back.

We’ve been going to this Nordstrom location for years and its crazy to see all the changes throughout time…I still remember when women’s shoes were downstairs lol. I have to say the annual presales used to be better but the store itself is always packed with new products. Their designer bags and makeup sections are huge. One of my favorite reasons to visit is Jason, one of the sale reps haha. He always brightens our day, helps us navigate the nee releases because he knows our taste so well and really goes the extra mile. Its his level of customer service that keeps us returning to this location!

Terrible experience Not well staffed at returns desk Well staffed in the jewelry section but none were interested in me as a customer. 3 staff sitting in a corner having very involved conversations. I needed to go ask for help. The store in general was 'crowded ' by that I mean too many articles of clothing stuffed into aisles. Just gave off strange vibe. I will continue shopping at my Old Orchard Nordstrom!!

Best Nordstrom hands down! (Besides downtown of course). Has the most designer goods at this location and the service is top notch! Always clean and the bathrooms are nice and private. As crowded as it gets, it never feels too crowded.

Great shopping, but no satisfactory selection of size 12 women’s shoes. They used to carry at least a few racks of them at every Nordstrom Rack but now there is a meager selection at every store of low quality, cheap, ugly size 12s… So sad 😢
