My Go To Jerk Place...Love The Service & The Food Is Authentic! I'm Never Disappointed!

Celebrated my birthday with my friend at Montego Bay Restaurant & Grill. Just like my memory of my birth town, the Oxtail, Cabbage, Rice and Beans and of course Plantain was outstanding. Tender and well seasoned. Chef Willie truly had talented hands. We are full, well cared for and have leftovers for days😋

The food was super nasty. The oxtail was extremely fatty and way under season. The rice was watery. Who are these folks giving these food 4 and 5 stars. Am raw Jamaican and at best this what I would feed stray dogs ok not even house dogs.

Ordered oxtail dinner however I don't understand why (they)establishments don't update their internet site especially since they aren't open for inside dining. People rely on accurate information when ordering online. They say they offer the Oxtail lunch special online but when speaking to the person on the phone she said that was old...Well change it or update your information please. Other then that, food was ready in the time frame promised; They offered a generous portion. Food was hot in temp but also in hot spices as well as though there were hot peppers added. Again let people know ahead of time if thats how you serve them...not everyone can temper very hot food like that. The spirit of excellence will get you repeat customers every time...lets take this downtime to do better!

I enjoyed the food service was quick price was reasonable. I like how the jerk chicken was seasoned not spicy with additional sauce on side for more heat! Unfortunately no explanation for why I was not given bread despite it saying bread included in menu

My friend and I had a taste for exactly what the menu offered. So we had oxtail, rice and beans, plantain and cabbage. The food was incredibly tasty, and was quite a belly full. I couldn't finish it in one sit down. So I took it home and I know it will take me the next 2 days to complete the meal. Totally recommend trying the food. And we had the please to meet the owner Mr Willie and his worker Patrice.

Might low-key have the most smoked out kitchen! Big wings with their meals and smoked to the best taste. Don't know if I found a place to stop it yet!

Wow. This is the real deal. I’m a food expert, and this is Authentic Jamaican food. The food was fresh, juicy, and full of that Jamaican seasoning and flavor. We were visiting from out of town, and we definitely felt welcome stopping by here. If you’re visiting and looking for some Authentic Jamaican food, make sure to stop by. We will definitely be back.

I got the Jerk Chicken entree with Rice and Cabbage. The chicken and cabbage was delicious. The rice was a little too spicy for me. If you like tongue burning this is the place for me. I will ask to switch out rice for Mac and cheese.

My team and I manage to stop by Montego Bay Restaurant and I can say there food taste real authentic it’s real Jamaican flavors and there Jerk chicken is off the chain we have things in common my team said the color and flavor of the Montego Bay jerk is the same as Gully’s Jerk. Montego Bay good job keep it going if you want good customer service and authentic food I recommend there food 10 times will stop by again when we are back in Chicago. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

Jerk chicken is mediocre, no choice for sides outside of rice and cabbage. For a jerk dinner you only get 1 jerk sauce and they charge you .75 cents for 1 extra sauce, not worth it at all

Montego Bay Restaurant is THEE best jerk chicken in the city of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy, fresh off the grill basically. Would get 5 stars from me but they run out of wings often and ever now and again you'll get a over cooked batch.

Small restaurant, but amazing, google is wrong closes at 9:30. Looks like the live stuff is on thursdays.

Very unprofessional restaurant. Spent close to 30 minutes to get here, only to find out they're temporarily closed. All they had to do was update their hours on Google and save people some time and gas. Don't make no sense.

We ordered their jerk chicken plate . It was tasty and good amount of food

We ate here over the weekend and it was amazing! We had ribs with red beans and rice and cabbage (it was on special) and we had some jerk wings. It was seriously some of the best, most flavorful food I've ever had! The lady at the counter was very nice too. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at but don't let that deter you from trying this place, it's a hidden gem! I can't wait to go back.

It's not 5 star fancy, but WOW! it's 5 star good food. The amazing scents filled the air a block away. My only request is that they open another restaurant in Mishawaka, IN.

They don't do the combination dinner even though it's on the menu and you can't order extra oxtails...why are they even open

Woo! This food is no joke! Very spicy rice and beans so beware. The lady working the counter doesn't care about you so dont bother saying please or thank you because she definitely won't lol. I got the jerk dark lunch special, came with a leg and thigh, cabbage with rice. Also plantains. Eleven dollars; Great meal!

Food was good, after it took a long time to get it but they stayed open and let us done in so that was good definitely a place to visit just have some time though.
