Asked to make a well done they served medium rare meat. I asked to make it well done they brought this burned garbage. We pay to enjoy a food not a for garbage. Probably chef doesn’t know how to cook a meat at all. When I asked to remake it well done he just put it on a strong fire, burned make for us a charcoal and let us eat it! Inside the meat is still rare ( see the picture) This is not respectful! Do your work from the heart or do nothing at all! People are not animals and people are not asking from you a food for free! I was not disappointed by food I was sad by their attitude. People wants just make money they don’t enjoy from the service that they are doing!

Owner and all staff are very friendly. We got meat combo plate and it was super delicious!! The place is nice and clean. And prices are very reasonable for great service and food! Highly recommend!

Absolutely no one in this establishment was wearing a mask. The cashiers, the cooks, the customers, nobody. If you don't wear a mask, you risk spreading the virus to people around you. So say if the cashier was positive for Covid-19, she could easily give it to any person who walks up to the register to pay for their order because she chose not to cover up. This restaurant clearly doesn't care about the safety of their own customers, so we will not be coming back here again.

Service was great. Very friendly staff. Welcoming establishment as well however we were given dirty dishes to eat on. The staff apologized and gave us clean dishes after the fact. As for the food, it was very disappointing. Very bland food. No taste. We ordered a dish called the Combination Platter which cost over $40. It had no seasonings or herbs to make it taste good. None of the meat items were marinated. Felt like it was just thrown on the grill without any preparation. Also, do not get the hummus. Had no taste, very bland. I will not be coming back. Gave it 1 star only because the staff gave good service. Wasted $80 and ruined our plans. I hate giving bad reviews but I had to say something so owners can change the recipe and add flavor to the food. I am telling the truth. I ordered the combination Platter for 2 which cost $39.99...it's says it on your menu and your website. I think you should focus more on your food taste rather than accusing the customer of telling the truth.

I’m not sure if this place has new owners or not but I used to enjoy it very much. Now I walked in tonight not seeing any familiar faces and left before ordering because the workers and cooks were all talking to each other, maskless, over the food preparation area, which is visible from the dining and ordering area. Seems like they are wearing their masks to protect their chins rather than to protect their patrons. I love that they wear them around their chins just in case the state comes in to check on them. Hopefully sultan cleans up their act before too many 1 star reviews show up for lacking respect for the people who pay your bills.

Awesome place for couples or family, nice & decent place of sitting in and now they even have patio for outside if you are concerned about inside seating due to Covid-19. Food is sizable portion bang for a buck and very delicious!!!

Baklava was ok, not that great as I had before at other places

No one was wearing a mask during the peak of COVID. The food was hot. The lamb was chewy , but the chicken was good. I wish the restaurant gave more veggies/salad and less rice.

This place was awesome. We’re not from here and stopped in because we were hungry and it was close. The vegetarian plate was amazing, even for this non-vegetarian. Excellent hot tea as well. The service was above and beyond. We’ll be coming back here whenever we’re in the area

My fiance and I love the combination plate from Sultan! It includes a side salad, 5 meats, pitas, and plenty of rice. This will definitely feed more than two and is worth it. The food itself is flavorful and cooked to perfection. It is also light and does not upset my stomach despite how much I eat. Please give them a try if you're in the neighborhood.

Stopped here for a quick dinner on our way to a convention. The food was delicious and all fresh. The staff was wonderful. If you like good Mediterranean food, this is well worth a stop.

Picked up from there tonight and it was not good. The food was luke warm and note i picked it up as it was being completed. They also messed up our order. we were supposed to get beef and they gave us chicken. we ordered a combo with grape leaves and didn’t get them. the hummus was oily and bad. was hoping this would be a good option but sadly it sucked. That being said the lady that took our order was very nice but again she messed up most our food.

Chicken kabob was great the rice was alright. The hummus was okay, give it a try. You will like it if you hungry.

Don’t waste your money. Terrible shawarma wraps. They were soggy from the amount of tomatoes in them. They didn’t taste authentic at all. I’m grieving over the money I spent on them.

Great food

Had the chicken shawarma wrap after the Tribune food writer posted it on IG and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly grilled and seasoned and the vegetables were nice and fresh. The falafel was also nice and crunchy even after I soaked them in the tabullah sauce!

Over priced restaurant

I went there for lunch with my husband on a whim, and it blew my mind! He had a beef wrap (meat was juicy and tender) and I had a shawarma chicken wrap which was PACKED with flavor! Definitely recommend this place if you're into delicious Mediterranean meal.
