LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!! Absolutely no negatives at all. Sure, the wait in line is very long, but it’s worth it. The actors are NON-STOP entertaining, so that’s a huge plus! Highly recommend!!!!

This was my first time at the Midnight Terror Haunted House. I really enjoyed myself there. I also enjoyed watching the axe throwing, drinking the witches brew and the total vibe. I will definitely come again!

I literally wrote a review when I attended last year for my birthday. There was nothing wrong with it to my knowledge, but It somehow got removed. The location was pretty far, but it was well worth it. I purchased 2 fast admissions passes and there was LITERALLY NO LINE!!! I was slightly upset, yet excited to go in. I went on November 6th with the clowns and it was magnificent! Anyways, I’m back to tell you that I absolutely had a blast at this haunted house on my birthday!!!!! I have been to 3 others (that I will not name) and I was not scared in the slightest. I loved it so much that I already purchased more tickets for this year. I’m also bringing more people along with me, so I hope they like it as much as I did. (2020 Review) I took my daughter along to this one and I really wanted my daughter to have a good time for her first time going. Yes, they provided her with a mind blowing experience that she did not forget. This was a chilling & hair raising experience that I absolutely needed in my life!!!! Chileeee, I was definitely scared and happy at the same time. I hope to go more than 3 times this year, hopefully!!! I highly recommend this place for sure!!!!! 2021 Update: The location is in Oak Lawn and it’s not far from me at all. I just went again with my daughter and her dad on the 24th and we had sooooooo much fun! The actors were honestly so in character and we absolutely enjoyed it! I will most definitely be going again very soon and taking a larger group! We also did some axe throwing at the end…which was nice! Sadly, I didn’t hit the marks in the pics, but I definitely hit the wood on the side…haha!!! I would say definitely go with a group and enjoy yourself! I highly recommend this haunted house to everyone!!!!!

Incredible sets, unlike I've ever seen before. Every inch of the place has had incredible attention paid to the details. The actors are intense! Very cool mini escape rooms (10 minutes) at the end of the haunt. Highly recommend this place!

very long haunted house took almost an hour to get through. The actors were a little bit more disturbing than they were scary dripping goo from mouths and didn’t know personal space. The show was very cool to watch but only a few points were actually intensely scary. The sets were very well done and looked like they were done from scratch. Everything looked realistic not like it was a movie set. Not a very big profit haunt, But was a great time. Would definitely come back. Minus two star For lack of security check and metal detectors & inexperienced actors that invaded my space and some blew at you and touched you. Some of the air cannons were too intense.

Great snacks, short line wait (and there were people scaring you in line to pass the time). Scary, clean, and fun 5/5 stars! love the vendors and extra activities at the end of the haunted house tour!

Super freaky and definitely scary. The costumes are great and the facilities are awesome! My adrenaline was pumping and even though I wanted to hurry up and get out of there I had to go slow because I was actually enjoying the experience. I definitely recommend this. Only thing is that they are using a medical clinic (or hospital) parking lot off 95th street when they are located off 103rd. They do have a shuttle bus, but even that was a nice little experience, reminded me of the horrors of my youth.πŸ˜‚

So amazing!!! Theatrics make up and characters are ON point. I was scared more than once. As you are looking one way, they get you from another. There was a group of 8 that goes in. ALL were scared and definitely NOT disappointed. Then their "witche's brew " at the concession stand is to die for!!!

Thank you Midnight Terror Haunted House for a great experience. It was worth the trip from Memphis. The Witches Brew & The Clockwork Mobile WacaoemRooms at the end was the best. Can’t wait for the Christmas Haunt.

The music was great, the atmosphere was amazing. We waited in a long line to get inside to wait some more. The inside was decorated that made you feel immersed in its scenery. However, it is in the same building as a child indoor sport place.... And once you're inside, it does feel like you're going back and forth in the rooms....and it does give you a claustrophobic feeling.

Drove 4 hours to see the #3 β€œscariest” haunt in the USA. Maybe if I was 3 years old lol. Be prepared to park 3 miles away and wait for a shuttle on a school bus. The inside did look pretty cool but they usher you through so fast can’t really take it in. Usually do 4-5 houses a year. This isn’t one I’d make the drive for again. Maybe if I was local I’d give it another shot πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Very detailed sets, very clever and artistic actors inside this building!! Floored by the talent of many. If you're interested in seeing a show that is next level, check them out. I promise you will not be disappointed. Do take your time and gaze at every thing, you might just catch a creature in the shadows, or lurking behind you. All in all, sets, actors and atmosphere was amazing. Great job!

This haunted house was really good. I came here for Christmas and for Halloween. Honestly it was better for Halloween, but I wanted you to know you guys had a decent amount of people to play the rolls. I just wish for next year you incorporate acting and make I think was to be Willows part bigger. Over all it was a great experience and will be returning.

Came here for the Christmas haunt and had a blast. Definitely a must see event. I love that they came up with a nightmare for Christmas. The actors were so much fun and the details throughout were amazing. I love them during Halloween and glad I can see them during this season as well. If you love spooky season year round come on through you won’t be disappointed.

We had SO much fun at Midnight Terror Haunted House. It was such a beautifully done show and there is just so much to look at up above and down below. It's just ridiculously well done. The managers and line control were all knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we had an awesome experience. The actors were on point from acting to makeup to costumes. We had a blast!!!! Can't wait to come back and check out the escape rooms!!!

Took a group of 17 here and it was the best thing ever. Parking was right next door. No hassle. No long line. Or at least it didn’t feel like it because we were kept entertained. We did have to split our group into three which makes since so they can all get the experience. The actors were great!!! I highly recommend. Don’t waste your money on β€œ13th _____” in IL it’s crumbs compared to this!

Definitely worth the experience! Lines were short when you buy online and they interact without the entire time. Music playing while you wait! Fun! Scary! Loved it!

Just went to Midnight Terror Haunted House in Oaklawn. ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Took 45 mins to go thru everything. Soooo many props & realistic actors. Super scary, realistic fog rooms, different themes in so many rooms. Have been to many different haunted houses & this blows them out of the park.πŸ€‘πŸŽƒπŸ˜±πŸ˜³πŸ˜±

The haunted house itself was fun. It was a decent length and the actors did a fantastic job jumping out to scare us. My problem is with the fat, short, middle aged parking attendant. I describe him because I didn't catch his name. We were there 10/03/2021. There was a sign that said parking information (I didn't see the information part until after) that was lit up with people waving lights. Naturally I and several others thought we parked there. He goes "What are you doing?" In a rude tone. He or the parking lot attendant weren't helpful about where we parked. The parking lot was on the other side of the haunted house and unlit with no sign.

Fun and scary haunted house. Lots of entertainment waiting in line ; great props and actors inside. Fun things to do after like axe throwing, escape room, palm reader, etc.

Super fun and very interactive. The props and characters were very well detailed. Everyone looked amazing especially with matching the different themed rooms. I will HIGHLY come back whenever I can. People outside while you "wait" were also incredible and fun.

To start, if you are going to instruct people to park where the parking attendants indicates, you should make sure that said attendants are actually doing their job instead of just standing around talking to each other, leaving people to fend for themselves. Next, the attraction itself seemed to be running a bit late opening up Friday night, at least in regards to actually letting people in. Our Fast Pass tickets were for 7 p.m.. They didn't even open the box office to get your physical ticket until that time. Then we waiting in line, with less than 15 people ahead of us, for over 30 minutes. I willingly paid the extra money for fast pass tickets ($21.60 per ticket more than general admission) only to wait in line anyway. Past experience typically with this type of ticket was a wait of 10 minutes or less. I also purchased tickets to an escape room after the haunted house. Instead of giving me the tickets for that on my initial trip to the box office, I had to wait in another line at the concession stand to get the tickets for that experience. I will give them credit as the experience inside was great. Although it was quite hot temperature wise. Overall, for the price point, the entire experience was below the high standards set in previous years.

Me and my wife had a great time here, the staff is amazing, very interactive and funny. The make up and costumes were the best. The rooms were very well decorated, the characters were well placed and caught us off guard quite a bit. We spend all month going to haunted houses, some out of state. This was by far our favorite. We will definitely be making Midnight Terror a permanent visit.

Great make-up work, actors were totally into the scare, even waiting in line was fun. The haunted house was done very well. Props were placed awesomely and the amount of scares per guest made it worth the price. The walk through was pretty long as well. Looking forward to the Christmas haunt here!

First timer on opening night yesterday. πŸŒ™ Might have been a bit early. Not too crowded. Props & costumes were definitely terrifying and πŸ‘»! It felt a bit empty in the beginning walking thru and nothing happening. But over all I loved the whole set up so much attention to detail!!!! Once yu make it to the end !!!! RUNN πŸ‘» πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»

Amazing experience. DJ before you enter gets you pumped and ready. Staff roaming around outside while waiting do a great job of intertwining through the crowd. But cherry on top is once you get inside. I won't give too much away, I will say it's worth the price of admission without a doubt. New Halloween tradition.

  • 3/5 Charlene T. 1 year ago on Google
Not sure where to begin so I'll start from the beginning. Purchasing 2 tickets general admission on site was $75. Waited in line for 1 hour and 36 minutes for what felt like forever with the music blaring. Characters were doing their job to entertain in line and that was nice to see. The person who sends you to the back to go in was rude and apparently hates her job. Once inside, you wait in cells to be released into the haunt. Groups of 5-7 people are sent it 30-45 seconds apart... I did time it because I was a bit frustrated while listening to the staff talk about how much they were ready to go. Going in was great! Very detailed rooms and really great actors who were on point. However we came to a halt and were not moving for 3 minutes. All the people were piled up and it became follow the leader.. no time to be scared because the staff were aggressively rushing us through. I'm legit disappointed that this was the case because if started off strong. I'll try again in a couple years. This could be great if timed properly.

The haunted house was great and definitely worth all the money. I recommend getting general admission tickets as the DJ and waiting in line is part of the experience but if you want to go quick they have fast passes too. Definitely recommend and will be returning!
