I went for a Friday night dinner with a friend, and the food, service, and atmosphere were impeccable. They were not busy, so the food came out in such a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. The Steaks in particular stood out, but all of our meals were amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful entree: specially made dumplings served with bread. We had asparagus & spinach prawn risotto, then finished with bread & custard pudding served with ice-cream. All are very well prepared and delicious. I highly recommend Aster European Dining, it has a cosy atmosphere, friendly staff & yummy food! Will definitely come back again! 😊👍🥰

Where do I start… The quality produce, the friendly staff, amazing cocktails and cozy atmosphere was exceptional. We started off with the straciatella with the homemade focaccia which was a great way to start the night. The straciatella was fresh and the figs went hand and hand, complementing every aspect of the dish. We then shared the southern calamari skewers which were fresh and packed with flavour alongside the preserved lemon and ink vinaigrette. The Carroza was devine, perfectly crunchy with oozing fior di latte cheese, it was simply amazing. We also shared the Spencer Gulf King Prawns which were fresh and perfectly cooked, accompanied with green mango, chilli and lime. For mains my partner and I shared the Orecchiette with spicy pork and fennel sausage which was one of the best sausage pasta dishes I’ve ever eaten. It was perfectly cooked and with a hint of chilli, it was absolutely delicious, you can’t go wrong. We also shared the scotch fillet which was the special tonight. The steak came out as ordered and was perfectly tender. The French fries and cos salad went perfectly with the steak, the fries being perfectly fried and the salad fresh and zingy. Drink wise, the Aster Cocktail and the Charlie Chaplin cocktail were my partners favourites. My favourites of the night was the amaretto sour and the south side which was made perfectly and were refreshing. The quality of produce used at Aster is phenomenal, and totally worth every cent. The comforting service and cozy atmosphere made my partner and i feel extremely welcomed. I will definitely be returning.

I couldn't recommend this place enough. For drinks we went with a shiraz from McLaren valley in SA, a french Pinot noir and we also tried their awesome signature cocktail "Aster Aster". The food was simply amazing. For entree we had the lobster roll and the bettroot ravioli, which was my favourite. For mains we went with the duck gnocchi and a perfectly cooked scotch fillet. Sisi and Vivi were super friendly and made great suggestions for the food and drinks. To finish off the evening we got introduced to a fantastic "tiramisu" cocktail, which was absolutely incredible. Great atmosphere and playlist! Highly recommend for a date night!

We celebrated our first Father's Day here and were not disappointed, the atmosphere and staff were amazing. Our favorite were the beef tartare and the duck breast, the rabbit ravioli is also a must try! Overall very happy with our experience, we will be back soon to try all the other dishes as well!

One of the best places that I have been to. The staff are just so attentive, the moment I finish my cup of water, it is immediately refilled. The food is heavenly, gnocchi were the pillowest and fluffiest and softest gnocchi I have ever had. The duck was cooked to perfection. Sauces were amazing, it was so balanced and never a moment was overpowering. Tiramisu was also amazing.

We ate here for lunch a few weeks ago and thought to try Christmas lunch. The $98 lunch Special was amazing- fresh seafood including Oysters and Prawns, Lobster roll, Barramundi, chips, salad and Tiramisu cake. Compared to the other so called fancy Resturants in Port Melbourne that we've tried once, this is one we'll come back to often. Best quality and service, the owner Vivian is a lovely person and passionate about her work.

Beautiful food... beetroot ravioli is a must, wine recommendation was stunning... everything on the menu was beautiful... will be going back to try all the dishes!

Lovely local gem with great food. We have had the set lunch menu twice, always superb. We had the beetroot ravioli and sardine, both of which were great. The steak and sausage pasta for main, those were inhaled before photos.

The atmosphere is super chill, great service (very intuitive), great place for a girl's night out, or a date 🌹! The food is good, so flavoursome and filling. Honestly, you'll be rolling out that door! I will definitely come back to try the new menu! Apparently they change it each season 😁. My favourite dish so far is the Tartare ❤️, followed by the grilled sardine on sour dough!
