Excellent option for lunch, food comes out fairly quickly. Had the fried char kuay teow and was delicious; great balance of noodles and meat which consists of Chinese sausage, fish cake and shrimp. Nice decor inside and there’s a free water drink station. Will definitely be back.

The food here is honestly good, but come on... What Nasi Lemak DOESN'T COME WITH SAMBAL?? The sambal is like the MAIN part! So I ordered their $3.50 sambal and, come on, the container is like only half filled. That's just not worth it man... :(

Decent laksa noodle soup. I was craving Laksa so I got here for laksa soup especially. The restaurant was quite empty on Monday evening 6pm - I am the only one customer in the restaurant it seems. I ordered combination laksa noodle soup (around $15) only. The dish came out smelling like delicious coconut milk so I was excited to eat it. It has fish cakes, tofus, eggplant, chicken and of course noodles. Pretty okay, good when you are definitely craving for laksa.

Really good Malaysian cusine located on Glenferrie road. Really convenient for when you need that Laksa fix. I felt that it was very comparable to Laksa King, broth was aromatic and the seafood Laksa had a good mix of scallops, prawns, Mussels and calamari. Partner had hainanese chicken rice which was really good too. Menu isn't huge, but definitely worth a try!

My favourite go to place whenever I'm craving for some Laksa. Cozy and friendly environment for some authentic Malaysian flavours.

Looks like the Nasi Goreng quality dramatically reduced. It tastes oily. I also had Vegetable Fried Rice, it also taste bad. I asked for tab water and the owner told me I should grab it from the water station while I expected him to bring the water on the table! I wouldn't go to this place anymore.

The quantity was okay for me. Tried the bbq chicken rice lunch special. Not great but not that bad as well.

Average laksa. Not as punchy in the flavours as other places. The chicken in particular adds nothing, may as well just get the vege one. One friend agreed, the other two really enjoyed theirs, so your mileage may vary.

I am in love with their Malaysian Chicken Curry. Food is full of flavours. Not too spicy and not too boring. I would call it a sweet spot of spices. Food portions are of descent size. Very good all-round restuarant. Staff is very friendly and professional. Juices and teas need improvement.

The Laksa tasted amazing and the portions were just right—filling without being overwhelming. The fried chicken ribs were another highlight. Loved the blend of spices and that satisfying crunch. If you're on the hunt for a memorable meal, don't skip this place. Highly recommend!

Very yummy Malaysian food. I ordered the egg noodles and my friend had the beef Nasi lamek. Both meals were delicious and filling. The price of the meals is really affordable and the food is really good quality. The owner was really friendly and the food came out within 5-10 minutes. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that we weren’t offered a menu when we came in (just shown you the table), and even after the meals came out, we weren’t offered any water either.

Mixed experiences with this restaurant. Stick to the laksa as that is what the restaurant is called after all. While I have no proof, the chef / restaurant should reduce the use of MSG - completely dried my mouth and throat out afterwards which is a usual sign that a lot of MSG has been used. Don’t bother with ordering extras with the meal as I find that to not be worth the price.

Great Laksa! Really reminded me of the ones back home.. It was creamy and savoury. Eggplant was good.

Delicious Combination Laksa (prawns, chicken & fishcake). Generous serving at a good price. Cheerful small restaurant with a nice decor.

Went because a lot of good recommendations from others. The place looks small but has nice atmosphere inside. Had laksa chicken and loved the soup, had right amount of creaminess and spices. The only thing I would like differently is less chicken (there were too much of it) and more veggies (there is grilled eggplant which was nice but only 1 piece and a couple of bokchoy). But very happy with my meal. Food came out pretty quick

It’s a small restaurant but the food quality was very good. I liked both Laksa and Char Kway Teow.

More tables at the back of restaurant. Nice food. Not a fan of the blue colored rice.

Absolutely disgusting service. I ordered through Uber eats. Quoted 20-30 minutes. It actually took 90. What I was delivered was cold, stale and expensive. $22 for half a container of ‘beef rendang’ which had 3 pieces of beef in what I can only describe as a soup. Disgraceful. Beware!! Not worth the time, hassle or money.

Decided to try this place out based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Ordered curry laksa chicken fish paste combination, char kuey teow, Singapore noodles and spring rolls for entree along with drinks. Price per serving was reasonable for location and had decent wok hey. Place was hustle bustle during dinner time. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Laksa Garden provided a satisfying dining experience. While the food was decent and portions reasonable, the efficient service added to the above-average overall experience.

Laksa garden is one of the few good, authentic Malaysian restaurants in hawthorn. The char kway teow is just how it is supposed to be, and tastes superb, but my favourite dish there by far, is the roti with chicken curry. The roti is nice and smooth and buttery and soft, but crunchy. The service is friendly, with even the manager helping the wait staff. The atmosphere can feel a little cramped for some people, but it also has a nice, homey feel. I highly recommend going here.
