I was searching for jewellery stores back in 2019 and Janai was the most stand out store of them all. They were not pushy and were super informative and knowledgeable about diamonds. Coming in with zero clue about what I want, Nicole.N was patient with me and kindly guided me through everything that I needed to know. The one thing about Janai that not many other stores offer is the 3D drawing of your final ring and diamond size. We also ended up purchasing with these guys, and once again served by Nicole.N at the end of 2020. A really friendly non-intimidating place, especially for someone like me who doesn't know anything about jewellery. Amelie was amazing and guided us through the entire engagement ring process, and was very supportive and patient with us. Throughout the design phase, up to the final product, everything was a smooth and straightforward, even during the COVID Pandemic. Also really reasonably priced! 10/10 would recommend.

From the moment we walked in, the staff at Janai were friendly, helpful and listened to what we wanted. They made the whole process of picking and designing a ring really stress-free and provided helpful guidance when we asked for it (without being pushy at all!). Even Disneyland has a 1 star review so for this place to have absolutely none is questionable. All I can advise is do your research prior and watch out for the sales tactics. The staff are lovely and welcoming but recite information so quick it was robotic. The whole 1.5 hour we were there we were not shown anything (diamonds) that we had requested. They showed something lower grade that we didn’t want, then something higher grade that was way over our budget, and then somehow by whispering magic words to the Director managed to slash the price of the nice diamond by $10K to make it JUST above our budget. The sales tactics are quite clear so don’t fall for it. Then right when we were about to leave they pulled up an image of this perfect diamond that fit our needs but they didn’t have and would actually need to source. When we asked about timeline and price they didn’t have a clear answer. So rather than being transparent and say that ‘we don’t currently have what you’re looking for but we can help you get it’ they’ve tried to sell us something else. Also, we had said that a friend recommended them and they were overly keen to know who that friend was and probed us about three times when we were reluctant to give our friend’s last name. Ultimately they do have quality merchandise and staff are friendly but the sales tactics are definitely there and I personally didn’t feel that they were genuine about looking after us. So do your research before visiting these guys.

Tim and the team from jannai were amazing from start to finish. Not only did we give them 2 weeks notice to start, design and finish a ring, they also had to send it to queensland in peak covid! They also beat all other local quotes by $3-5000 and outmatched the design and quality of diamonds. Cannot recommend enough and the reveiws are a reflection. Thank you Tim, life saver!
