Nando's is a South African multinational fast casual chain that specialises in Portuguese flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken. Visited the Nando’s at Victoria Square and wow the chicken was mouth watering so was everything around. A must visit place in Belfast.

Complete rubbish Food thrown together. Not what I asked for plus cold and way over priced . Wasn’t worth 5 pound a meal

I will not be returning to Nando's, it was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The new way of ordering food via your phone is so confusing, complicated and would be impossible for older people. I have never seen this awkward system at any other restaurants. It took absolutely ages for us to get into the 'virtual queue' nevermind actually order food. I know that it is not the staffs fault that Nando's have this new system but two female staff members were very unhelpful. The food was very bad value for money and average. However one of the waiters was helpful and trying his best despite the situation. I do not normally leave reviews but I was very dissatisfied!

Went to nandos today waited over half an hour on loaded fries, hot “chicken breast” with a salad and chicken thighs and it was a joke from the get go when the food finally arrived the loaded fries and both chicken dishes were stone cold so we asked to get a new dish which took another 30mins the hot chicken breast I got was not the way they described on the menu they just smothered them in hot sauce and they where flat as a pancake, secondly the chicken thighs my mum received where chewy, smelt burnt and the side dish of rice was hard and cold the whole meal came to £39.70 which was definitely not worth it DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE

It's nando's the food isn't bad. Have to say however that waiting half an hour to get into a half-empty restaurant with poor service is below-par. Staff were friendly at least. WOULDN'T RETURN!

Nice place but no menu card, you must be on the website to find the menu. We waited a long time for food with an empty place. Very small portions, cheesy and expensive. The waitress and the waiter preferred to stand and talk, and there were plates on the table without guests after an hour of eating. I think they had no experience and they don't care about the guests.We won't come back here.

Took 30 minutes for a houmous starter to arrive. Customer service standards are definitely slipping Additionally, there was skin missing from the chicken wings, not enough sauce or sufficiently grilled making the food bland and almost unappetising. Failed to meet the speed and quality I've come to expect from the other stores. Forgot my wallet at the store and the staff reached out to me to return it so thanks for that!

Shocking this lady charged me for halloumi sticks because she mistakenly gave it to us when it was meant for another person, they couldn’t take it back as it was already bit. Confusing system, only nice person here was the one working at the till. The lady horrendous service and will likely not be back

The food portion have been reduced and the chicken wrap didn't have additional filling apart from the chicken. I could of made it at home.

Upon arrival it was 18:20 (store closes at 19:00) we queued for 15 minutes. Two families infront of my group ( 4 people) were escorted to their seats with no issues however when it came to us the waiter said there was no chicken left and he was unable to seat us. He then said both there cookers are broken so he is unable to serve us then finally he came out with it’s the work Christmas night out and he is unable to seat us and serve us even though the store didn’t close for another 40 mins absolute terrible experience he was very rude to my fiancé who was trying to organise my birthday night dinner. The waiter then also told us that all the chicken was pre cooked and not fresh just an all out bad experience and won’t be back!

I ordered half a chicken, they told me to wait 15 minutes because it's not ready, after waiting that long another young man arrives and I told you that you have to wait another 10 minutes. I wait for them in the end, they never measured the chicken and they made me wait a long time. Before ordering and paying they have to say that they don't have it read….

At nandos all the time but tonight was super nice thanks to Birdy, not sure if he's the manager but he was just so friendly and welcoming! So smiley and helpful, really pleasant experience being looked after by him, and food was lovely as always!

First and last time to eat at Nando’s, staff were friendly and to be fair most diners appeared happy with their meal. I had ordered Chicken fillet burger and chips which was inedible, hard small bap with two tiny pieces of tough lukewarm chicken, awful meal and £50 for three people, two stars for the location.

Wasn't impressed. When chicken is your main focus, it should be perfect. Mine was dry, and no amount of your hot sauce choices was fixing that.

Absolutely amazing service by I believe his name tag said church and repeated amazing service from the person who brought us our food, his name was Nathan, 100% amazing will definitely be coming back soon, food was also brilliant

Heard about Nandos in America for years, and it lived up to the hype! Very casual, service and food was great. Special thanks to our server Nathan who went above and beyond!

A great place to go for a family meal with an excellent menu. They have installed a self ordering system where you use their app to place your order and then they bring it out to you. I liked this as it took some of the pressure off with young children trying to decide what to eat. The portions were not big but they were very tasty. I'd definitely get a bigger meal next time.

Family and I popped in for a quick meal. Nice fast food and quick bite to eat. Place was clean and staff were friendly.

What on earth has happened!! Their portions have shrunk massively! The food sogy, and definitely not to the standard before. Prices have gone up, but it should have gone down for what we were given! Apauling service & food! This needs to be addressed!

We enjoyed the chicken , the side dishes, and, of course, the sauce added that perfect kick. Ordering online and making payments was incredibly convenient, making the experience even more enjoyable. For those unfamiliar with the process, keep in mind that you can place your order online, saving you from the confusion some foreigners might face when waiting for a waiter. This seamless approach to dining is something we highly appreciate and recommend to everyone.

I do enjoy a Nando’s but this visit wasn’t the same as usual. My partner and I go to Nando’s once a fortnight and spend more money than we would like to admit. If I was to leave a review of all my other Nando’s visits it would be 5 Stars for sure. We went in and we were greeted as normal and asked if we have ever been before and seated. We both normally order drinks before placing our initial food order as we don’t really rush. Anyway, the starter of the houmous was amazing and is a normal go to for myself if I don’t order the halloumi sticks. But before we had even got onto our started our mains arrived which isn’t normal for any restaurant to do and definitely not normal four ourselves when visiting Nando’s. So we finished our starters and moved onto the mains. Chips weren’t as salted as usual and just tasted like frozen chips. The rice was extremely oily and hard in the middle. The garlic bread was tough and the worst bit, my chicken thigh was raw. I made a member of staff aware of this. She proceeded to tell me, a chef, that chicken thighs are meant to be pink. I understand that chicken thighs will not be the same colour as normal chicken but this was raw as you can see in the image that I have provided below. When I tried to tell her this she left us and said she’ll get the manager. The manager proceeded to have a discussion with her at the till for about 10-15 minutes so we decided to leave. No apologies, no financial reimbursement, no follow up email and a ruined evening. I am currently lying in bed with food poisoning and I plan on calling the health and hygiene agency for Northern Ireland with images of the chicken I got served. All I wanted and all anyone would have wanted would have been an apology and to get the chicken properly cooked. However, no one cared so measures will be taken against this branch.

Very kind staff, virtual queue was amazing! They had plant-based/vegan options as well that were really good. Made sure my order was made right, and a very kind and professional manager. would come here again!

Most welcoming staff I've ever dealt with, there was like 5 minutes left until they closed and they could've rightfully refused service, but they didn't just serve us, they made us feel very welcome.

The additional covid rules here are unnecessary and tiresome. The product remains similar but appears only to shrink in size and increase in price. Rice side was terrible, but peas and coleslaw pretty good. Staff friendly as always, though have to order through the website.

Not good! Very expensive for very average food. Staff were fine. Restaurant was very dirty especially the floor as our feet were sticking to it as we walked - will definitely not be back!

Lisa the Manager at the Nando's Belfast is such a nice, professional, helpful person that treats all her customers with respect and ensure fast service. I always enjoyed the food at Nando's everywhere, it is always fresh and the taste unique. Keep up the good work 👏

The food is tasty but there is a very long waiting time and the cutlery provided isn't very clean. I've been to Nando's at other locations, would recommend visiting those.

Didnt have a good experience there this visit have been going to Nandos restraunts for 30 years approx my experience tonight started when I fell of sofa seat my hand slipped of end of seat nothing to stop me falling.an arm would be an idea to prevent falls Have always enjoyed Nandoes until tonight .our meal was luke warm .the restraunt was very cold..all in all very disappointed.

Very busy. No cutlery available, asked a member of staff who took quite some time to come back with more. A burger came with extra sauce that was not listed in the menu, when a member of staff was asked; had a poor attitude.

It was really busy today.The service was nicer compared to other times.We had chicken thighs but they were super tiny,rest of the meal was great.l go there for the home feel..especially the music.

Having heard so much about Nandos but never trying it i was looking forward to giving it a go. The restaurant was pretty empty and the tables were well worn (could do with a sa d down amd varnish) unless this is the look they are going for. We were seated quickly and a friendly waitress ran through various ways to place an order, we used the qr code on the table. I was a little disappointed as the food didn't look very appetising, all the same colour. The chicken was ok, nothing to write home about and the corn on the cob was lukewarm and quite dry despite being provided with butter. Its only my opinion but i just didnt see what the fuss was as i could easily have made this at home.

so good!!!! there was an issue w/ our order and they were so nice about it even though the wait time wasnt even that long!!!! so polite and super helpful :D guy w/ tattoos and the girl with the piercings were so helpful and the other girl with black hair and the (i assume manager ?) with short blonde hair?? so nice amazing staff !!!!! first time at nandos too for me so it was really nice :)!!!

Nando's is my new found love in NI. Lol. As an African, in an a western world, Nando's is the only non-Aftrican restaurant I can relate with. Their food is not bad at all & spicy. Though not exactly the same, their taste is not so different from the African taste my taste buds are used to. The food presentation is very beautiful as well. Good music & great customer service. I highly recommend 👌 ☺️ 👍

Great place to stop and eat while in Victoria Square. The price of food in Nando’s is really reasonable and you usually get a good feed too. If you’re looking for a good starter the Halloumi sticks are great and the Butterfly burger or the standard butterfly chicken main are great options that won’t break the bank.
