Had a great time with the children. 3 slides for children, other 3 for adults, and 1 for toddlers. It's clean, staff are amazing, safeguards every to insure children are safe. I would just advise adults with diabetes not to go in the yellow slide. My husband had to rest for 30 minute after going in this slide.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, the lifeguards are excellent. The centre has three main slides, the yellow trap door (capsule) slide is brilliant, the other 2 are decent and are well suited for children 8 years and up. The changing facilities are clean and their is also a small dryer that free for dying swimming clothes which is super handy. Also the price of admission is excellent. The only con is that, admission only gets you about 1 and a half before they ask you to leave - this is covid related I believe as you must book a specific time slot. Overall good experience though.

I've never been to a cleaner leisure centre! We only did the surf thing but it was fantastic! Staff were really helpful. It does however have for settings 😅 so if your feeling adventurous like us get them to turn it up its hilarious! For the price you pay its well worth it, we went on a monday evening and there was only the 4 of us in the group.. so we got loads of goes. The centre was fantastic itself and a hive of activities, locals are very lucky to gave such an amazing facility so close!

Great leisure centre, good deal on( better) membership, inclusive of classes , swims, gym. Family fun swim is great for kids with access to play area, slides, swim for fit is good, with access from 6am, good gym too. Staff are helpful and friendly also, only downside is there is no sauna , but everything else is great. I would highly recommend for family fun and fitness

Excellent facilities, particularly for toddlers/young children. Splash zone has good slides for a wide age range (walking age to adult!) and the 3 big waterslides provide excitement for the older kids. Fantastic changing and showering facilities, lockers need £1 coin(refundable), hairdryers available free of charge....all in all a great day out!

This is a public facility which is at risk of becoming elitist. Management need to consider the pricing structure immediately. It costs a member £8 for each adult, each time they want to take kids to the learner pool for a short 50 minute session. This is on top of the £34 a month membership. For two swims a month it would be cheaper to join David Lloyd's or Bannatyne. There needs to be consideration and a different price point for those not wishing to use the slides on their visit. If it was on facility alone it would be 5 stars, however the price structure is ridiculous for a publicly owned pool.

The pool and slides were fantastic. The kids loved it and can't wait to go back again. The staff were friendly and went out of they're way to accommodate us when I made a mess of our booking and came too late for our slide session. Thanks to them the kids didn't miss out. Will definitely be back and highly recommend for a fun time with the family.

Clean pool + slides membership is a bargain. Slides are fun for all ages but the gym is alright. Glider stop right beside it if you need to talk a glider down. The gym is a good environment unlike others I’ve been to with friendly people and staff. Very good 👍

Excellent place for family fun swimming with a big aqua play area for kids and superb water slides for those who are more adventurous. There is also a surfing pool with artificial waves for those who would like to practice their skills. Hot water provided in showers for rinsing after swim is a definite plus. The unisex changing area is clean and well managed. Will definitely come again for swimming and water fun later

Really good, plenty of space, not overcrowded. Website should be clearer for online bookings. Family fun should highlight the slides are not include, after all is that not family fun?

Not happy at all. We joined at Andersowntown leisure centre in person and have memberships for all 3 of us: 2 adults and 1 child up to almost 60£ a month. When purchased we asked if all facilities are included including waterslides, was told yes, to later find out waterslides are actually not included at all and come at an extra cost. Secondly we wanted to make it a family habit to go swimming every afternoon after work but nothing is available to book for Swim for all after 3 pm every day next week… Thirdly went today and staff was completely rude and literally kicked us out of the pool, had us wait 10 minutes behind gates and we entered the pool at 18:40 when our booking was at 18:30. And lastly the lockers are very very cold. Very disappointed. Will give lisnasharragh leisure centre a go (that was another pain to book 1h of swimming as they come in 10 min sessions…and as the app is so laggy it constantly froze and had to book 7 different sessions, took about 1h for 3 people to book 1h of swimming) on tuesday, and hope its better than andersontown. Otherwise complete waste of money and left with unhappy child who wants to go swimming every afternoon….

Toddler pool is lovely and warm with a slide. It's a very modern and clean centre with lots of parking. All staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very lovely leisure center, with great staff helping with questions and enquiry. I love the clean and neat swimming changing areas, good place for kids swimming lessons, overall, it's a good place to return to, highly recommended.

Best swimming experience for parents with children in Belfast / Lisburn. Different pool for children and great slides for fun. Staff very accommodating and facilities are clean.

Really good facilities here with plenty of slides and other water features. Costs just shy of £30 for a family of four. Only criticism I would have is the booking mechanism through Better which seems to have more than one glitch present.

Have been a few times before but our most recent visit was highly frustrating. We arrived at 11.40am from Monaghan for our 11.50am booking. I was told the family fun swim had ran on so we would have to wait to get in. They did say we would get an extra 10 mins added to our 50 mins so we didn't say much. At 11.50am they let the next crowd in but the problem was everyone from the family swim was already in the dressing rooms and all the family changing rooms were full. I had 3 kids including a 12 week old so needed the family room to change my baby. We had to wait 15mins before we finally got one and the couple using it before us had only one child who was around 6 or 7 so I don't believe they should have used the bigger stall. We have used the regular ones before for 4 of us so it would be good to see staff in the changing rooms during busy periods. When we were heading towards the pool area we seen 2 other families who didn't need the use of a changing table in their stall. Ended up only getting 40 mins in total because it took so long to get everyone changed. When we got into the pool the wee slide in the splash area was closed off. This is the 2nd time if not 3rd time this has happened when we are visiting. Why?? Real waste of time after traveling 1hr and 10mins and very disappointing visit altogether. I have always recommended this place to family and friends but would recommend Lagan Valley in Lisburn instead especially for people with young families.

Great gym and fitness classes, coaches are great but only 2 stars because of the cleanliness of the place the floors, training halls changing rooms and showers are filthy so unhygienic! How the managers and staff don't see this is beyond me I've seen the same dirt in the showers that have been there 2 weeks now!

Great fun for the whole family. Plenty of lifeguards around to keep everyone safe. Just be careful when booking the activities - slides need to be booked extra as they are not included in the family fun ticket but they are worth it!!

Fantastic place great fun for the whole family brilliant slides very clean! Would definitely be back but My only problem was the changing rooms when we arrived were freezing! The pool area was warmer but not warm enough for a place that has slides! Turn the heating up please

Visited this leisure centre for the first time today along with my 8 year old daughter. Absolutely brilliant time. Slides are great, although I do have to admit to being scared on the drop slide! From arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly. The staff in the pool area are engaging and friendly. We both enjoyed our time here and will certainly be returning over the summer holidays.

Very, very good. The staff are brilliant. The seating area is right beside the pool. 70 minutes with a coffee and a book, utter bliss! My two loved the slides. Even got a lie in the next day, as they were so tired from all the tearing about. We are going again today! Join up as a member and you get the reduced price for a year. It only costs £5 and it pays for itself in three outings. This memberships works in lots of other places, and in mainland uk. No brainer.

Fabulous spot for a family or just a nice swim. We travelled from Armagh Friday evening with two very eager boys to go on slides to be told no slides open, my fault i didn't check the website, but the staff were amazing when realised we had traveled so far they offered to let boys on the surfing experience no additional charge. I can't thank or praise them enough for their kindness and patience with the boys they had an amazing night. Thank you wonderful team we will definitely back, well run very clean and an amazing staff excellent value for money as well.

This is a truly amazing place. The staff are really kind, the facilities are new and the slides are epic. They have torrent, a blue slide which pushes you up and down and is absolutely amazing I rode that countless times on my own and with other people.Abyss, the only trapdoor waterslide in northern Ireland was so ecxillarating but I hurt myself on it and my back got sore so make sure you ride it sercurley with your arms and legs crossed. They also have vortex which is great and really dark. All the slides are fantastic. The Aqua play area is a big hit with small versions of the slides for kids and they have loads of water features and a gigantic tipping water bucket. There is also little lagoon a confidence pool for toddlers with a purple slide which is fun and a main pool. Overall it is a great day out for the family the staff are brilliant and I strongly recommend Anderson town leasure centre

Fantastic pool and activity area for kids to play in. Three great water slides very well organized and clean. Only downside is parking can be hard to find in the built up area its located but as for the actual pool experience first class

  • 2/5 Gary M. 1 year ago on Google
Facilities on the whole are very good however on the day of our visit the queues for the rides were very long - combined with a number of kids jumping the queues with no interventions from the staff! So all in for a family of 5 to pay almost £40 for the kids to get 3 rides on the slides was more than disappointing - kids don’t do long queues! Did try to contact the manager via email but as of yet no response! Choose your day and time well and keep your fingers crossed and hope the place isn’t rammed!!

My son and his friends (all aged 11) wanted to go here - excellent facilities, lovely pool and the boys raved about the slides. Very proactive lifeguards. Also great viewing area beside lovely Orchard cafe. We'll definitely be back!

Surf machine great fun! £15 for Better gym members. Was the only one on it - all the fun to myself. Surface is inflatable, super bouncy, and doesn’t hurt at all when you inevitably fall off (20 times over)

New hidden gem with lots of mini areas and big slides for big kids. Adults pool in same area for swimming and still in eyesight of the junior area. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

  • 3/5 Paul H. 2 years ago on Google
I have taken my children here a few times, but I will not be back unless they decide to review their session allocation. While the facility itself is excellent, there are simply TOO MANY people in there at once to properly enjoy it. I spent all of my time queuing for the rubber rings needed for the Vortex while my children amused themselves elsewhere. This meant they got a few goes on a great slide - but also meant I hardly saw them. The shallow end of the pool was packed - as was the Splash area, which was particularly congested. With so many young children in there, it is dangerous to go in there yourself - so again, you cannot actually play with your kids for fear of bumping into or falling over a small child (and I saw it happen). The issue lies with overlapping sessions - you can tell by wristband colours that there are at least 4 sessions in there at once meaning long queues for the slides (when they're all operating that is). For the price of a session, it simply isn't worth going.

Excellent facilities, I have used the pools, splash park and waterslides. Clean communal changing rooms, £1 coin operated lockers, hairdryers etc. Great centre and helpful staff! Parking to the rear.

  • 2/5 Dorinda S. 2 years ago on Google
Facilities were good but 45 minutes was far too little time. My kids got 1 slide because of the queues. Just not worth the ££ for the time if you’re looking to keep the kids entertained for half a day

  • 5/5 Brand E. 2 years ago on Google
We had a very fun afternoon with the family, with areas to suit a wide age range. I’d recommend booking back to back sessions as there are queues to the slides and you would need 140 mins. The facilities are fantastic with family changing rooms, warm showers, hairdresser’s, large parking area, cafe, etc. The staff are so friendly, informative and really good out of their way to advise and assist.

Fantastic place for a family morning out. Open spaces and loads of changing areas etc. Loses a star for time keeping. We had booked for 11 people for the 10am slot. Stood waiting on the slides opening for approx 10, 15 mins then whistle blew for our session approx 11.50 going by the clock on the poolside

  • 5/5 Sam P. 2 years ago on Google
First time visit today for Family Fun Swim and it was fantastic, three pools available to use and the water park play area. Kids absolutely loved it, changing facilities were clean, staff seen mopping floors etc in changing cubicles. Can't wait to go back!
