I am about to finish up my year lease here. This is supposed to be a luxury apartment complex and they have zero security or accountability for their property and what happen in or around it. In May of 2022 my balcony was lit on fire by prob some kids setting a mouse trap on fire next to my building. The entire side of the building has smoke residue and my patio was completely ruined by melted furniture etc. I was promised it would be fixed by several managers yet there is no single manager on site. There was finally a permanent manager 6 months later and we are still here in the same spot with a burnt up patio. I have called several times with the intention of understanding their position and now I'm just frustrated. I pay extra for this apartment due to the large patio which I initially loved and not been able to entertain on it one time. I am disturbed by the way they have not accommodated me in any shape or form and in fact just asked by the current manager when I was going to be out and proceeded to hang up on me. I am absolutely disgusted these apartments charge what they charge and have no accountability for anything. Do not be fooled by aesthetic, its all just cheap repairs, cheap paint jobs, cheap appliances. Oh and as well my door has not locked right in 6 months due to the fire department kicking it in. They never replaced the door. Not only a safety issue but also looks awful!

I want to start off by saying I absolutely love the maintenance team here. Connor, Chris and Davis are so caring and respectful. They have time and time again turned my negative situation into a positive resolution. I moved into another unit here and when I first got here it was needing a lot of work done. I would place a request and have it completed the following day, they have never questioned or not wanted to do what was needed. I really appreciate the team and the effort they put into their job, it really shows. I wish I could say the same with the office but I can’t. The staff in there has no idea what they are doing or saying, they need some major training. I have had multiple situations like a guy smoking above us for 7 months straight to moving into a dirty apartment so they can collect the transfer fee instead of allowing the maintenance team the time that was needed to fix the place up. You could call and talk to a different member in the office over one simple question and you’ll get a different answer from each one. I have never had a pleasant experience with them nor have they ever took responsibility for their mess ups. They never communicate or give you the full story about anything, the office is dysfunctional and will screw you over any chance they can. Especially when it comes to money.

I’m not even sure where to start. While Chris (community manager), and Davis (part of maintenance team) have been great in more recent weeks, mine and my boyfriend’s experience has been nothing but terrible before then. We had a mice problem only 3 months after moving in, and they sent over an exterminator days later, two separate times, because the first time he laid traps and the second time we found where they were getting in, in the master bedroom closet. There was a literal GAP between the baseboard and the carpet, which lines up with where the water heater storage closet outside is, and living right next to the dumpster it just seems like the mice had an easy in. They also said they would send someone to help clean all the mice droppings that were in our closet, all over my clothes and shoes, and close the gap in the wall. They never did until just recently when I made a big stink with corporate. I personally believe Jazzleen (not sure how to spell her name) should not be working there after we made multiple complaints in person, by phone, by the app, and she failed to communicate with us repeatedly. The regional office is fully aware of all of the situations we have run into, as well as Chris is now aware and I will only speak to him for the remainder of the lease. Regional also told me they would have a “conversation” with Jazzleen but I don’t know what good that’s going to do. Most recently, they now want to start paid parking (if we were to renew our lease), and I think it’s a scam for mor money because they say it’s due to people parking using the light rail, and residents having extra cars. Yet, the parking protocol isn’t set in place until 7-8pm, and each resident can have 2 cars each. And we are always getting emails threatening to charge us more money for small things, like a $25 non compliance fee for leaving the valet trash bin outside of our door if its not pick up hours (mind you we were forced to have these bins). And to top it all off, my boyfriend's Yukon was broken into and almost stolen. We believe it was interrupted by someone walking by and spooking them away. The parking lots are not very well lit at all, so this makes sense. We pay $2175 a month plus utilities for this kind of stuff to keep happening to us. Way too much money for terrible management. It would be a great place to live if they managed it better and took care of things. This is nothing the regional office or Chris hasn't already heard directly from me. See photos below for gap in wall (still here as of 5/19/23) where the exterminator stuffed steel wool (back in NOVEMBER), and what remains of my boyfriend’s ignition. Can’t wait to leave in July.

The property is beautiful and well taken care of. The on site team has been super helpful and knowledgeable every step of the way! Big shout out to Chris, Emmett, and Jazleen for making it such a smooth process.

Been living here since 2020 and I have to say I love it here. From the office staff(Jazleen is amazing) , to the maintenance team (shout out to Davis and the rest of the crew for being prompt and knowledgeable), to the location. Great location! Close enough to downtown, but still not overpopulated. Also, I have yet to see a spider or any sort of bug since living here.(knock on wood).. Can't wait to renew again.

We really like the apartment, but when we were told all the stuff that wasn't allowed, it honestly turned us off. If we are going to pay that much for rent, then we would like to actually enjoy living there....

I’ve lived at THE RIDGE AT THORNTON STATION for almost 2 years and the apartment is amazing. Feels more like a house or town home. The staff had some management changes but now has a GREAT team! 10/10 would recommend living here. Light rail is a life saver

We have been here for five years. We have signed a new lease for 15 months. We are close to all our business needs and management and tenants are great. They are working to improve our homes everyday. My wife Connie totally agrees.
