I found this spot via Groupon and thought I'd give it a shot and would go regularly if I liked it. Michelle was very sweet and the salon was clean. However, the reason I am leaving a lower rating was because of the actual quality of work. I got a lash lift/tint package. In the past, whenever I've gotten lash lifts/extensions, the lash artist would always clean my lashes first. In this experience, my lashes were not clean. Then, the chemicals that applied burned like crazy.. I've never experience that before. Then, once the process was complete, Michelle didn't even brush out my lashes. When I left the salon, my lashes were SOAKING WET and stick together. I went home right after and when I got home, I tried to brush my lashes out with a wand but they were so stuck together that I had to use a toothpick end to try to separate them. At this point, I also realized whatever chemicals or materials were used literally tore some of the skin around my lids in 3 distinct areas (see photos). These photos are from 1 day after I got them done. I haven't gotten my lashes wet since I got them done (you're supposed to keep them dry for 48 hours afterwards). You can clearly see that my lashes are clumped together at the roots in many different areas. In addition, the left eye in particular is just a hot mess. The lashes stick out in all different directions, are stuck together in many areas, and are even crimped in certain spots... this is a result of them not having been brushed during any point in the lash lift process!! Update one month later: Lashes are crimped and frizzy and have been for at least the kast week. This hasn't happened before and I believe it's a result of the perming chemicals that were used being too strong (probably why it singed my skin too).

I am so thankful to have found Michelle and would sincerely recommend her to everybody! I have blonde eyebrows that are thin and patchy. Michelle took the time to help me determine the right shape/size/color and helped me determine if microblading, powder brows, or a combination of the two were best for me, explaining the difference and what to expect from each of them. We ended up doing a combo since there were many bald spots on my brows that needed ‘hairs’ to be drawn on. I am so happy with how my brows turned out! I would choose Michelle over and over again!

I had Michelle do permanent eyeliner for me and I love it!! I drove 6 1/2 hrs from the Albuquerque area to have Michelle do it because I liked her work and I saw that she was also a dental hygienist in her previous career which is also my profession. I knew she would be very knowledgeable with infection control being a dental hygienist which was very important to me. She did a great job and I highly recommend going to her!!

Michelle is so great and was able to fix my brows that were originally done by someone else 3 years ago. There was one little spot that needed to be zapped with tattoo removal, which she was able to do at the same appointment. Michelle is easy to work with and valued my opinion and wants and was able to collaborated a plan that fit what I was looking for. I couldn't be more happy with the results and the color is perfect! I finally have the brows I've always wanted! I am a forever customer of The Beauty Spot!

I recently was recommended the Alma Ted by Michelle at the beauty spot. I had never heard of it before so I was a little hesitant at first but am SO glad that I went through with it. I have always struggled with having thin/ fragile baby hairs around my face and was looking for a way to make those hairs thicker and help with growth. I noticed significant differences within a few weeks and I’m very happy with the results. I ended up doing a mix of scalp mp and Alma Ted and highly recommend it for anyone looking for hair growth/ thickness solutions!! Additionally, the pricing is very affordable! I have been going to Michelle to get my eyebrows micro bladed. They can last 2-3 years if you take very good care of them. She does an amazing job, they look very natural. I will definitely be one of her regulars. 😊

My eyebrow hair is very fine with very little color. Michelle microbladed my brows first time two years ago. She did a wonderful job. Two weeks ago, I had a touch up treatment. Again, everything was done professionally and outcome looks amazing. Michelle has a great stylist eye and touch, and she is easy to work with.
